"Thanks!"

Everyone who received food thanked Vic, even the youngest three-year-old girl, who had been taught to do so by the other girls while they were queuing.

"Please take your time eating. There's more here; come back for more when you're done. There's also milk and juice available, but don't eat too much and make yourselves sick."

"Things will get better. There will be food every day. Also, don't waste food!" Vic said with a smile after distributing the food to everyone.

Vic's smile seemed to be infectious; those who were eating smiled too, stopped wolfing down their food, and slowed down.

Rebecca and the little one in her arms smiled too. The little one had already eaten his fill and was now just watching the others eat with a smile.

Some people came over and took more food, while others finished eating. Soon, their faces regained some color, their stomachs were full, and their bodies warmed up.

"Are you all full? Is anyone still hungry? Come and get some, or I'll eat it all!" Vic said again after everyone had finished eating.

"We're all full, thank you, brothers and sisters!"

Their unanimous words echoed in the hall, and Vic and Rebecca smiled. They had done something meaningful today, much more meaningful than the kind of thing Rebecca had blushed and mentioned.

"Then I won't be polite!"

Next, Vic gave everyone a performance of what it means to be a competitive eater. He started showing off as soon as he opened his mouth, and most of the food slowly disappeared until it was gone, which made them gasp in amazement.

"Alright, we've finished eating. Let's leave. I'll take you to the navy and they'll help you settle down!"

Vic shouted and led the way outside. After leaving the house, he didn't go straight to the gate, where there were still many corpses; it was too bloody.

After leaving the house, Vic turned right and led the group toward the wall. The young women behind him were somewhat puzzled as to why Vic didn't use the main gate, but they still followed. Trust had been established between them.

Vic walked straight toward the courtyard wall, not stopping even when he reached it. Allen drew his sword, and a burst of Sword Gang flew toward the wall, clearing a path ahead and leveling any obstacles in it.

"Big brother is so amazing!" The little ones didn't understand anything, they just thought it was impressive. The older girl thought to herself, "Is this what the navy is like? So strong!"

After leaving the courtyard, they soon returned to the path they had come from and walked back to the street. Vic was carrying the two youngest little girls in his arms. To be honest, the traffickers had taken them quite a distance.

" Vic, are we just going to leave those bodies like this?" Rebecca asked Vic in a low voice.

"Let's just leave them there to feed the wild beasts. Anyway, it's in the woods, and there are plenty of wild animals. Those people are no different from beasts, and being eaten by animals is in accordance with the natural cycle of birth and death!" Vic replied and continued walking forward.

Once back on the street, Vic immediately spotted two familiar figures ahead: Barnett and Wendy.

"I already told you there's no need to come out and look for Vic and Rebecca. They're out on a date. Do you even know what a date is?" Wendy said, gesturing to Barnett and clapping her hands loudly.

"I don't know, I only know that Vic said he would be back soon, but it's already past midnight, I suspect they've run into danger!" Barnett ignored Wendy's slapping.

Vic's Observation Haki detected it, and an exasperated look appeared on his face. Wendy! Have you matured and turned yellow, or were you always yellow, just painted green to look youthful?

"Hey, we're here, come help!" Vic interrupted Wendy before she could continue her lewd explanation of what sex was, especially with so many children around!

Upon hearing Vic's voice, Wendy's spellcasting was immediately interrupted. Seeing Vic's dark face, she knew that what she said had been heard, and that her suggestion to Rebecca had failed. She immediately shrank back, imagining the scene in her mind of being brutally beaten by Vic.

Barnett didn't think much of it. Hearing Vic's shout, he immediately ran over. Seeing Vic leading a group of people who looked like refugees, he was a little surprised. What good deed were they up to now?

Wendy had no choice but to follow Barnett; she had to face what had to be faced, and having more people around made it less awkward.

" Vic, Rebecca, what's going on?" Barnett asked, pointing to the people behind Vic. Wendy also looked curious.

"We encountered human traffickers while we were shopping. They wanted to kidnap Rebecca and me to be auctioned off, but we managed to catch them all. These are all people who were kidnapped by human traffickers," Vic briefly recounted their experience.

"Tsk tsk tsk, to run into something like this on a date, you two are just too good-looking!"

Wendy sighed, earning a glare from Vic. Rebecca blushed deeply, her face burning at the thought of her and Vic talking about doing "that kind of thing".

"These human traffickers are incredibly lucky, it's their fate! But how did you two end up being caught at their headquarters?"

Barnett was somewhat puzzled. Putting aside Rebecca's strength, Vic's strength was truly formidable, and it was really unbelievable that the two of them had been captured.

"We weren't arrested; we went with them on our own. From the beginning, I felt that those people were acting strangely, so I wanted to go and see what was going on."

"Stop asking, just take them to the hotel. Have the teacher notify the Marine Base to send someone to arrange things for them. Rebecca and I have some things to do with this little guy!" Vic handed the others over to the two of them and led them away.

" Vic, why don't you send this little guy away with you?" Rebecca asked, somewhat puzzled.

Upon hearing her words, the little figure in Rebecca's arms hugged her even tighter, as if afraid she would send it away. A tense expression returned to its face as it stared intently at Vic, as if awaiting Vic's judgment.

"He can't leave. From now on, he'll stay with us and live on our Elite Camp ship!"

Vic didn't disappoint the little guy. Upon hearing Vic's words, a smile immediately appeared on the little guy's face. He opened his arms to Vic, his meaning clear: he wanted Vic to hug him. Rebecca's unintentional words had hurt his young heart.

Vic was somewhat helpless; this little guy had quite a temper.

Vic could only reach out and take it. The little guy's smile grew even brighter. Only Rebecca pouted. "I've been holding you all night, and you turn on me after saying something unpleasant."

"Let's go, find a clothing store and buy the little guy some clothes, then take him to the public bathhouse for a bath and get him cleaned up first."

"What clothing store would be open at this hour? Even the bathhouses are probably closed!" Rebecca, somewhat exasperated.

"The clothing stores are probably all closed, but we can knock on the doors. Bathhouses are usually open all night, right? Let's check first. If we can't find anything, we'll just go back to the hotel and shower!"
