" Ain, you can use your ability now. Just restore Wendy to her state from a week ago. That should make the ability last longer!"

Vic hadn't let Ain use her abilities before, precisely to save them for now. He just didn't know how long Ain's abilities could last, but even half a day would be good.

"Okay!" Ain got out of Rebecca's arms and walked towards Wendy.

" Vic, Wendy's in your hands now. I want to see a lively and energetic Wendy!"

Rebecca glanced at Wendy, who was enveloped in pink energy, then turned to Vic, a hint of reluctance still in her eyes. Barnett didn't say anything more; this was the trust between men.

Soon, Ain completed the body reversion. Wendy was no different from before; the flush on her face had disappeared, and her occasional coughing had stopped, just like a normal person.

Once Wendy felt her body return to normal, she wanted to get up and talk to the others, but Rebecca immediately pushed her back onto the bed.

" Wendy, although you're back to normal now, we don't know how long Ain's abilities will last. You'd better not move around too much. We'll see each other again soon, I have a feeling!"

Rebecca held Wendy's shoulder to prevent her from getting up, and Wendy looked at the people by the bed and tears welled up in her eyes uncontrollably.

"Yes, we'll see each other soon, definitely!" Wendy looked around, then made no further move to get up.

" Wendy, we'll come pick you up!" This time, Ain didn't use her full power and wasn't as exhausted as last time.

"We meet again! Can you teach me Observation Haki?" Barnett asked softly.

"Yes!" Wendy's voice was a little choked up, but she nodded emphatically.

"Alright, let's go! Wendy, lie down. I'll leave after I see them off." Vic said, then walked outside. It's not like we'll never see each other again; when will this series of farewells ever end?

Stepping out of the cabin, Vic's knife was gone, but he now carried a bundle of rope. After herding Rebecca and the others back to the warship, Vic untied the rope connecting the small boat to the large ship. He then walked to the front of the small boat, took off all his clothes, leaving only a pair of shorts, revealing his slender, well-proportioned body and strong muscles.

Ignoring the astonished expressions of the people on the warship, Vic straightened the rope, tied it around his waist, and then tied the other end of the rope to the bow of the ship. Only then did they realize that Vic was preparing to pull the ship.

However, upon closer reflection, it becomes clear that this is the fastest way to reach Drum Island. They have all witnessed the speed and endurance of the Vic, so this small boat is even less of a challenge; it would be incredibly fast at sea.

"Teacher, please take good care of them for me. I'm leaving now!" Vic said only to Zephyr, then waved to everyone and jumped into the sea.

"Don't worry! We'll be waiting for you on Drum Island!"

Zephyr stood by the ship watching his proud disciple jump into the sea, his eyes full of praise and satisfaction. He had never met a disciple like this before. He never abandoned or gave up on his companions, and he would try even if there was only a sliver of a chance. Such a person would earn the deep trust of those around him.

However, Vic wasn't as perfect as Zephyr imagined. He simply had more confidence in Drum Island, and he was only kind to those close to him.

" Vic, wait for me!" Rebecca shouted, cupping her hands around her mouth as she looked at the small boat that had already gone far away. Konan stood by, blushing, waving at the boat. The shirtless man was the great benefactor of their entire country.

"Me too!" Ain followed suit, but her voice was far inferior to Rebecca's. Rebecca rolled her eyes when she heard Ain's voice.

Vic, piloting his Observation Haki, heard all the sounds from the warship, but ignored them, maintaining an extremely fast pace as he swung his arms back and forth across the sea.

Wendy had intended to speak with Vic while Ain restored her, but she sensed the boat's speed was abnormal. As she walked out of the cabin, she saw Vic pulling the boat in the sea. Seeing this, Wendy's eyes welled up with tears again. Wendy stared at the agile figure in the sea for a while, then went back to her bedroom and lay down without saying anything.

"Sigh! I'm going to be lonely!" Ain sighed like a little adult as she watched the boat sail away.

"Haven't I always been there for you? Eating, drinking, and everything else? Even sleeping with you! What else could you possibly be lonely about?"

Rebecca was furious when she heard Ain's words. "You sit next to Vic every day without saying a word and you're not lonely, but you're lonely when Vic leaves? I'm with you all day and you're still lonely? What a stupid child."

"It's an indescribable feeling! Don't put my head on your butt when you sleep in the future." Ain said in a deep voice, shaking her little head with her hands behind her back. The last sentence almost made Rebecca go crazy, as many people were watching them.

"When did I ever pin you down on my butt?" Rebecca leaned close to Ain's face, gritting her teeth, her voice low.

"It's right here! I've never understood why Rebecca has two butts!" Ain said, pointing to Rebecca's chest. She was deliberately getting revenge on Rebecca; Rebecca's face wash had caused Ain a lot of psychological trauma at her age.

Half a day passed quickly, and Vic had already pulled the boat away from the waters around Flower Island. The island and warships were no longer visible. The azure sea stretched endlessly, and the small boat was moving very fast under the pull of an external force. Some seabirds that were good at flying wanted to land on the boat to rest, but they could not catch up with it. However, the boat, which was moving at such a speed, was interrupted by a cough. The boat stopped as if it had lost power.

Vic stopped swimming, stepped back onto the small boat, casually untied the rope around his waist, took out a large towel from his spatial ring, and walked into the cabin while wiping the seawater off his body.

"Has Ain's ability worn off? The time limit was still too short!"

When Vic entered the bedroom, he saw Wendy back to her original state, her face burning red, her body limp and powerless, not even properly covered by the blanket, her entire upper body exposed. She probably didn't expect to revert to her previous state at this moment. Wendy on the bed now was in the same state as a moment ago.

Vic walked to the bedside, put Wendy's hand, which was sticking out of the bed, back on the bed, and covered Wendy with the blanket and tidied her up. Wendy had completely lost the ability to move and couldn't even speak. She just quietly watched Vic's every move. Due to the high body temperature, her vision was not so clear, and Vic's figure seemed like a dream.

"The temperature is still so high!" Vic frowned as he touched Wendy's forehead. Although people in this world are more resilient, such high temperatures could still cause problems if left untreated for too long.
