Fighting Zephyr

Vic didn't use the blade to hurt people; he only used the flat side of the blade to strike. Otherwise, he would have cut them in two. When Zephyr saw Vic draw his sword, he was a little afraid that he might accidentally hurt someone without knowing his own strength. However, he didn't sense any murderous intent from Vic, so he relaxed and focused on watching.

Vic used "Shave" to flash and weave through the crowd, slashing horizontally with each blade aimed at the face, sending people flying in his wake.

Vic approached a rhinoceros and kicked it in the head. The rhinoceros flew out like a cannonball, dodging a giant fly swatter—a hand swatter. Vic then approached the Devil Fruit User and swatted again, "Whoosh!"—a human cannonball.

With another flash, he appeared in front of the big guy and knocked him away after the guy shouted " Tekkai ". With the ground enemies mostly dealt with, Vic began to use " Geppo " to attack the students who were flying in the air using Geppo. He ignored Smoker, who was flying in the air in his elemental form, and left the Logia for last.

How fast is Vic's Geppo? He trained for over a year using his body's accumulated skills, plus the boost from the Speed-Speed Fruit.

These new recruits who have just learned Geppo? They're like lambs to the slaughter, standing still waiting to be slapped.

A bird-type Devil Fruit User flew over. Although he was faster, he still couldn't dodge Vic's longsword swing, and many of his feathers fell out.

"This guy is a monster! What's the limit of his power?"

"There's no limit to how strong someone like that can grow; he'll keep getting stronger!"

"Maybe so. I'm so glad I didn't cause him any trouble, otherwise I don't know how long I'd be bedridden!..."

People were flying everywhere around the training ground. Those trainees who had been knocked away but hadn't lost consciousness didn't attack Vic again. They knew Vic had shown mercy. Luckily, they weren't enemies, and he used the blade; if it had been the real blade, there would have been a river of blood.

With a single slash, Vic cleaved through the cage created by Hina's Cage-Cage Fruit, and in a flash, he appeared in front of Hina, his blade already resting on Hina shoulder. Cold sweat beaded on Hina's forehead, and she lowered her hands, which were still using her power.

Vic glanced at her with a smile and then stepped back. Now only Smoker was left on the field. Smoker was also shocked; in less than ten minutes, he was the only one left. How could he possibly fight?

His attacks couldn't even touch Vic, but Vic possessed Observation Haki, allowing him to sense Smoker's elemental attacks. In the end, it all came down to who had the longer stamina.

Vic believed he wouldn't lose in a physical contest.

" Smoker, wanna test your physical strength?" Vic asked Smoker with a smile.

Smoker's face was somewhat grim. He clenched his fist, but finally let go. He gave up. Vic had defeated everyone else without showing any signs of fatigue, and he knew what that meant. He felt powerless too; Logia weren't invincible.

"I concede," Smoker said unwillingly, looking at Vic with a firm resolve in his heart. Perhaps things would be different in the future!

Vic smiled but didn't say anything. Looking at the complicated gazes around him, he felt no joy of victory because he knew he was still far from the top, and these people were just recruits!

Just as everyone was feeling dejected and discouraged, a voice rang out.

"Kid, you're really going too far! Fighting the entire Elite Camp without taking off your weights, are you here to humiliate them? This weight looks familiar, isn't it the Garp used when he was young?" Zephyr's smile widened. His student was already in despair, and he was just adding fuel to the fire.

The Elite Camp trainees were dumbfounded. They knew you were amazing, but couldn't you at least leave them a way out? They didn't know your limits anyway. Couldn't you have taken off your weights before coming back? Why kill someone and then destroy their spirit?!

"You all saw that, right? This kid isn't very old, but his strength is astounding. All of you attacking together didn't even force him to use his full power."

"You all complained about being tired during training, which means you weren't working hard enough, weren't giving it your all, and weren't strong enough. I'm worried about you graduating like this! Today you saw what a young, strong person looks like, right? Remember today's humiliation!"

Zephyr, true to his Zephyr, used this incident to teach his students a lesson.

Vic felt a bit disgusted. How could this be a disgrace? I am this strong, and I will become even stronger in the future. This should only be an honor.

"I'll teach this kid a lesson for you guys. Watch closely, and see what you learn," Zephyr said to the crowd, then walked towards Vic. Vic's lips twitched. "You beat the kid, so the older one comes out to punish you! The ancients were right!"

"Kid, didn't you want to learn Armament Haki? I'll teach you now, hahaha!" Zephyr laughed triumphantly.

Vic had no choice but to accept the challenge, but this also had its advantages. If he could really learn Armament Haki, that would be a win. Since he was going to fight, he would fight; he wouldn't back down.

Vic drew two knives and stared at Zephyr. Vic's aura was rising, and his fighting spirit was boiling.

Zephyr clearly had no intention of attacking; he just stood there watching you. If you wanted to fight, come at me, and I'd give you a second glance. If you were thinking of taking the opportunity to run away, that was impossible, since you were already locked onto by Observation Haki.

Vic also became serious, his momentum rising to its peak. He lunged forward, swinging his twin swords horizontally, and spun rapidly, bringing immense force to slash at Zephyr's side.

Zephyr didn't dare to be careless. He knew that this continuous high-speed rotation would increase his power many times over. Zephyr directly used Armament Haki, turning his arms as black as ink, and blocked the path of the twin swords.

With a sharp "clang," Vic was stopped, but the entire stone ground was affected by the Sword Qi splashed from Vic's twin blades, and was cut into countless pieces like snowflakes.

Zephyr's eyes grew brighter and brighter. Vic's fight with the student earlier was just a display of speed and power, lacking any real technique. Was this finally happening?

"Hey, Instructor Zephyr, I thought you wouldn't use Armament Haki to defend yourself. When I fought Vice Admiral Garp before, he didn't use Armament Haki. Your black wrists seem to be no match for his Iron Fist." Vic said to Zephyr with a smile.

Zephyr's lips twitched; he knew Vic was up to no good and was retaliating against him. Vic did indeed have a bit of a "let's watch the show" mentality.

It's said that the Navy has several nicknames: Iron Fist Garp, Black Arm Zephyr, and Iron Head Sengoku. Oh, no, it's the clever Sengoku. So, in a direct comparison, Black Arm is still a bit inferior to Iron Fist. At least, Vic didn't dare to directly block Zephyr's attack with his wrist.

"Whether I can compare or not is another matter, but I can easily beat you up. Show me your skills, or you won't have a chance."

After saying that, Zephyr deflected Vic's twin swords, and his other fist, brimming with Haki, was already aimed at Vic. It was too late for Vic to dodge; a veteran like Zephyr would unleash a series of attacks, and once one move was used, the next one would be ready.

Vic could only defend himself with his crossed swords, but he was still sent flying by the powerful force. Vic tapped his legs in the air several times, using the reaction force of Geppo to stop his backward flight.

However, Zephyr had already used Geppo to arrive above Vic, spun around, and punched Vic below.

Vic also possesses Observation Haki, but knowing about the upcoming attack is one thing, being able to react to it is quite another.

Vic had too little practical experience; he could only barely parry with his dual swords. Zephyr's moves were too fluid, and he had no experience in dealing with them, so he was at a disadvantage. Although he blocked the attack, his body was still knocked to the ground, creating a large crater in the rocky ground. Debris piled up and splashed, burying Vic in the crater.

Zephyr didn't attack again. His opponent had already fallen, so there was no need to pursue him relentlessly. The students around him were all speechless. The two of them were incredibly fast. In the blink of an eye, Vic was already buried in the pile of rocks.

"Is this still the same arrogant and overbearing Vic from just now?"

"It depends on who you're comparing yourself to. Teacher Zephyr rose through the ranks to become Admiral, while Vic is only a kid."

"Yeah, to be able to fight to this level, they're not even human!"

" Zephyr's combat experience is honed through countless life-or-death battles, something Vic can't match."

The students were all discussing the fight between the two. Vic also emerged from the pile of rocks. Vic was not injured; his body had only broken a few large rocks. He was just a little dazed because he hadn't adapted to the pace of the fight. However, he would no longer be careless and would remain vigilant against Zephyr's combos.

"Kid, Armament Haki is a power that exists throughout the entire body. Focusing your will and mobilizing that power is Awakening. Start by sensing the part of your body that you can control most easily; that way, you'll feel the presence of Haki more easily. Come on, let's continue."

Zephyr didn't just want to beat him up; he genuinely taught him Haki, and he really meant it when he wanted to fight.

Vic thought about Zephyr's explanation of Haki for a moment, and made a note of it. Now was not the time to think about that; they needed to deal with the upcoming battle first. He looked at Zephyr and nodded seriously.
