On the Proper Conduct of a Sea Beast Pulling a Ship

Underwater, Vic was using his fists to persuade a horse-shaped sea monster to join the navy.

The seahorse was heartbroken; it had truly suffered an undeserved misfortune.

It was leisurely blowing bubbles and eating fish in the stormy sea, riding the ocean currents, when suddenly it was stopped by the navy. The navy clenched its fists so tightly that they cracked, telling it to repent and stop killing, and that they would take it to the navy for proper reformation.

Of course it wouldn't want to! How could a tiny creature possibly make it give up fishing?

But the result of refusing was that it suffered the darkest moment of its life!

The bumps on its head were piled up so many times they were glowing red, making it look a bit like a distant relative, a unicorn seahorse. It was suffering, but it couldn't speak human language.

A short while later, two figures, one large and one small, appeared on the sea. Vic grabbed one of the seahorse's large ears and approached the warship.

"Hurry up and throw down the rope, I've found a horse to pull a cart!" Vic said with a smile as he approached the warship.

Gion covered her face in embarrassment. Was this really the same Vic who had just used Dragon Slayer? The contrast was too great. Even as someone of a different species, she could see the pitiful expression on that sea monster's face—it looked utterly hopeless.

The people on the boat quickly threw the rope into the sea, and Vic was quick as well, putting the reins on the seahorse in no time.

After finishing, he slapped the horse's head again before leaping onto the warship. The seahorse looked back at Vic with an incredulous expression.

"You're being a troublemaker, aren't you? I've already obediently let you tie me up, why are you still hitting me?"

Vic didn't speak, took the Blood Wither from Rebecca's hand, and drew it directly. A pale blue Sword Gang shot towards the sea, cleaving a huge trench in the sea in front of the seahorse!

The seahorse stiffly and slowly turned its head, beginning its new experience of pulling a chariot.

The ship gradually picked up speed, and Vic sheathed Blood Wither, glancing indifferently at the seahorse pulling the ship!

The seahorse, which was working hard, suddenly shivered, as if it had been electrocuted, and worked even harder.

"Be good and you can live happily, otherwise... hehe!" Vic uttered a sentence softly before going to the cabin to change his clothes.

Everyone looked at Vic as if he were a demon; he was terrifying.

Looking at the sea creatures again, I suddenly found them rather cute.

Gion laughed heartily beside her, showing no trace of her goddess demeanor; she seemed more like a female lunatic.

Rebecca and Wendy covered their mouths and chuckled. They knew Vic to some extent, and not eating him was the greatest mercy they could show him.

And so, thanks to the sea creatures' hard work, the warship left the area.

The sky outside was filled with countless stars, a breathtaking sight that made everyone think they had just experienced a dream!

It wasn't until they saw the sea monster that they realized this couldn't be a dream; the bump on the sea monster's head hadn't disappeared yet!

After changing his clothes, Vic sat cross-legged in the cabin and meditated until he left the stormy area before coming to the deck.

He had been caught in too much rain tonight and had been almost entirely submerged in water, so he changed his clothes after coming out of the sea. It wasn't that he was afraid of getting sick; he had just had enough of the experience.

Vic arrived at the edge of Gion, gazing at the vast sky and the beautiful starry heavens. He thought of his past life, which could not be described as fortunate, but rather as drifting along with the tide. He had wasted more than twenty years, but none of his experiences had been as profound as this one. Vic marveled at the wondrous connections of fate.

Vic was lost in thought, lost in reverie. At that moment, Gion, standing beside him, felt that Vic didn't seem to belong to this world. He seemed ethereal, as if he might fly away at any moment, gradually becoming blurry and indistinct.

Gion woke up with a start, only to find that it wasn't Vic had become blurry, but rather that her own eyes were misting over and tears were streaming down her face. She saw Vic's figure, and what did she think of? Only she knew.

Vic snapped out of his daze, a sense of relief washing over him.

Now that he was in this world, he had to live well. His belief became even stronger, and Vic sat down cross-legged again, contemplating the universe and nature.

Life on the ship returned to normal, and Vic resumed his training rhythm, only his sparring with Gion stopped. Vic still covered his body with Haki every day, but changed the time to night.

" Phoebe, how much longer until we reach Peace Island?" Barnett asked Phoebe.

"We'll reach an island this afternoon, and after another day's sailing, we'll arrive at Peace Island."

Phoebe had looked at the map and knew the route by heart. With sea monsters pulling the boat, they would arrive at Peace Island sooner than expected.

"Is it finally here?" Barnett muttered to himself, somewhat dazed.

It was soon afternoon, and a black dot could be seen in front of the warship—an island had appeared.

The sea monster was exhausted and wanted to rest as soon as possible, so it worked even harder when it saw the island.

Not long after, a ship flying a pirate flag sailed rapidly from the side of the island, circling it towards the front.

" Barnett, there's a pirate ship on the island ahead! A pirate ship has appeared on the island ahead!!!"

Kevin had already spotted the pirate ship from the watchtower and immediately issued a warning.

"Everyone, get into combat mode! Snipers, prepare your artillery and Fire Pistol, ready for battle at any moment!" Barnett commanded.

Hearing the sound, Vic stood up and went to the bow of the ship to look at the pirate ship. His eyesight was quite good; if Kevin could see him, so could he.

The pirate ship looked disheveled, not like a normal landing voyage, but as if it were being chased by a ferocious beast.

Most of the pirates were rowing their boats when, before long, their pursuers appeared behind them—a warship. The pirate ship was being chased by the warship as it sailed around the island.

Barnett stopped the ship, leaving the sea creature somewhat bewildered. They were about to rest, so why did they have to stop?

But it dared not disobey orders; it had been traumatized by Vic's knife wound.

The pirate ship quickly disappeared off the other side of the island's coastline, but after a short while, it turned back.

This time it headed straight for the warship at the Recruit Camp, Vic chuckled.

His Observation Haki had already detected that a warship was also chasing them from this side of the island, and Vic had already guessed the truth of the matter.

Two warships were chasing a pirate ship, but the pirate ship kept circling the island. Eventually, the two warships separated, and the pirate ship had no choice but to come back towards them.

However, this is not the final truth. The final truth is that this pirate crew was just one of the test questions prepared for the Recruit Camp. The two warships deliberately forced the pirate ship to come to the Recruit Camp's warship.

Vic walked over to Wendy and whispered in her ear, " Wendy, this pirate ship is a test for you sniper team members. When we get within range, you'd better shoot well!"

After finishing his sentence, Vic returned to the front of the warship.

Barnett probably guessed as much, because another warship had already come into view.

He immediately instructed the helmsman to coordinate with the Sea Beast to turn the warship sideways, so that it would fire as soon as it was within firing range.

The crew of the pirate ship were probably terrified by those two warships and dared not approach them, so they headed towards the Recruit Camp, which they had never fought before.

Perhaps they were also taking a gamble; they hadn't fought them before, so they thought the ships might not be strong enough, while those two were too strong, and going straight in would be suicide. So they chose to take a chance.

Once the pirate ship was within range of the cannons, Wendy immediately shouted to fire, and all the snipers sprang into action, while cannons and flintlock muskets tilted towards the pirate ship.

Wendy used her own sniper rifle, and with her first shot, she took down a pirate officer. The pirate ship was subsequently hit one after another.

The pirate captain was terrified and quickly ordered the pirate ship to veer off course and escape sideways!

By this time, the two warships had already returned to the island and were no longer pursuing them, which further confirmed Vic's guess.

Barnett quickly ordered the sea monsters to chase after the pirate ship; they couldn't let the pirates escape.

Sea monsters are definitely faster at pulling ships than pirate ships, so the pirate ship remained within range.

Wendy shot and killed the man wearing the captain's hat; the rest is history.

The pirate ship was sunk, and a few pirates swam to the island, where they were captured by the island's navy.
