When the pig farm workers arrived at the secret room, their benefactor was nowhere to be found; only half a box of gold coins remained.

This was something Vic deliberately left for them to improve their lives; he didn't leave it because he couldn't carry it.

These people have been working for Adrian for free for so long, I really don't know what their living conditions have become. It's good to have some money left over!

Vic was also afraid that keeping too much would be a bad thing, so he decided to give some to everyone so that at least their lives would be a little easier.

Back at the tavern, the treasure vault recorder was still asleep, and the Beast-Taming Ring around Yves' neck had disappeared. He knew that the man had rescued him!

That man knocked the servant unconscious right in front of him; the Beast-Taming Ring had no effect on him whatsoever. It was all just a pretense.

The disappearance of the Beast-Taming Ring foreshadows Adrian's defeat and demise. That bounty hunter will surely take Adrian to the Marine Base to exchange him for money, right?

Adrian will never appear in his life again; the dark clouds over his head have dissipated!

As long as he kills the servant, he can pretend nothing happened, the country suffers no loss, but he himself may have to live with the secret and guilt of tonight.

On an ordinary night, a stranger, without anyone in the country knowing, indirectly saved the country.

This is no exaggeration; the country whose treasury was plundered by Adrian is now in dire straits.

If Adrian were to steal the national treasury from this country again, then the Heavenly Tribute would be unpayable, the country would be removed from the World Government's list of powers, and it would lose the protection of the navy.

How can a country located on the Grand Line, especially one with little to no powerful armed forces, survive amidst an ever-growing number of pirates, particularly its ordinary citizens?

In the end, Yves strangled the unconscious servant. The servant wasn't entirely innocent; he had done many evil deeds with Adrian, so he deserved to die.

He took the recorder to a hotel to sleep, and then returned home with a mix of guilt, gratitude, confusion, and hope. What kind of life awaited him in the future?

By this time, Vic had already left the country and was Geppo towards Peace Island under the moonlight.

Vic felt no joy in saving the country, nor did he consider himself a hero who saved the nation.

He was merely prolonging the country's existence, which was not the outcome he desired.

His idea is dangerous; this kind of justice is intolerable to World Government.

On a pirate ship in a sea area in the first half of the Grand Line.

"Scum King, is this really an order from Kaido? Or is it your personal arrangement? I, Queen, would never act on a scumbag's orders. Let Kaido answer the phone."

Queen said to the Den Den Mushi with dissatisfaction.

" The Wisdom King drank too much and is now passed out. That's what he told me when he was drinking. Do you want to listen to his snoring?"

A cold voice came from the other end of the Den Den Mushi.

"Hmph, I'll confirm this with Boss Kaido later. If he finds out you've been playing me, I'll tear your nest apart when I get back..."

Before Queen could finish speaking, the Den Den Mushi drooped its head, clearly indicating that the call had been disconnected.

"That bastard Jin dared to hang up on me! I'll make him pay when I get back, hmph!"

Queen was furious; what bothered him most was Jhin's attitude.

"Lord Queen, shall we still go to Gia Island to find Adrian?" a henchman asked.

"Let's go after all. What that bastard King said makes some sense; his Devil Fruit ability is clearly aimed at our Beasts Pirates."

"Now that we've finished with things at the Paradise, let's take care of that guy while we're at it!" Queen decided after thinking for a while.

"Yes, Lord Queen, we'll prepare to set sail immediately."

Queen and his group were destined to come up empty-handed; they encountered a variable—a soul from another world.

However, the outcome was the same: Adrian died on Gia Island. Later, the Pet-Pet Fruit was obtained by Breed, who also enslaved King Luffy's apprentice Kung Fu Dugong.

The next morning, when the cadets on the warship got up, they found Vic sitting cross-legged on the deck.

They saw that Vic's eyes were closed, but they didn't go up to greet him or disturb him.

They thought Vic had gone to the island to deal with the pirates, and they hadn't seen him for several days. They thought he would come back with the main force, but it turned out he came back alone.

Vic estimated that the incident on Peace Island should have been mostly resolved and that everyone should return to their destination, so he went straight back to the warship.

Hearing the commotion on deck, Vic opened his eyes and was greeted by a brand-new deck and cabin.

He returned at night and hadn't noticed the change yet, but the warship definitely wasn't like this before he left.

So, was it a different warship? What happened in between that he didn't know about?

He soon found out; he saw the shipwrights moving planks and others repairing the warship.

He swept his Observation Haki across the warship, finding it covered in repair marks and large holes that hadn't yet been patched.

Vic's lips twitched; he already knew what had happened—it was definitely the work of those scorers.

They had been virtually invisible on the ship until now, but after arriving at their destination, they finally revealed their true colors—sabotaging the warship.

This is probably also an assessment item, and it was deliberately arranged. It really shows their good intentions, taking into account almost all the subjects that can be learned on a ship.

Vic didn't want to hear the clattering noises, so he got off the boat and walked towards the island. The seahorse called out a few times in the water, but he ignored it.

Using his Observation Haki, Vic found the three Gion girls eating snacks in a small town. The three chatted and ate, seemingly quite happy.

" Rear Admiral, when do you think Vic will be back? It's been several days already. I hope nothing bad has happened to him?" Rebecca asked Gion with some concern.

"Don't worry, even if something happens to us, nothing will happen to him. You have to trust his abilities, haha!"

Gion smiled and said nonchalantly, but the image of Vic's pointer flashed through her mind again, and the look of enjoyment on his face made her blush.

"That's precisely why I'm worried. With Vic's strength, how could he possibly take this long to defeat the enemy?" Rebecca stated her opinion.

"He was probably looking for something, that's probably what took up his time!" Wendy said.

"A powerhouse like Vic was practically invincible in the first half of the Grand Line. You should be worried about his enemies, right?"

He's all-powerful; if he wants to hunt someone down, he can do it on land, sea, and air—there's no way they can escape.

Haha, just thinking about that scene makes me laugh! You can imagine how desperate his enemies must have been, hahaha!

Gion laughed so hard she was shaking, and her laughter affected the two girls, who also started laughing along.

"What's so funny? Are you talking badly about me?"

Suddenly a voice rang out behind them, and the three women turned around to see Vic with a smile on his face.

Vic heard their entire conversation.

" Vic, you're finally back, hee hee!"

Rebecca was the most excited, while Wendy, though silent, smiled and nodded at Vic.

"You're pretty quick, I thought you'd take longer!" Gion blushed slightly when she saw Vic; that image just wouldn't leave her mind.

Vic was speechless. What kind of inappropriate talk is this? There are two young girls here. Can't you be a little more considerate?

Vic glanced at the two women; they didn't react. He knew he had been overthinking things, Vic muttered to himself, "My bad."

"Well, I just came from the warship and saw that it's still undergoing major repairs. When can we leave?" Vic quickly changed the subject.

"I guess we'll have to wait another day. There's still some work to be done on the island. What, you're so eager to go back now that you've finished your business?"

Gion's words carried a hint of something ambiguous, which none of the others noticed.
