Vic strengthened his Haki and weapons, confronted pirates at Sabaody, and uncovered a mysterious gathering atop the Red Line. After returning to Marine Headquarters, he accepted Akainu’s challenge at the graduation assessment and was injured by Akainu’s full-force attack.

• Vic killed Queen’s crew and fought Queen while Rebecca battled Auston, then rescued Rebecca and Gion as they withdrew to the warship.
• Kaido pursued Vic to Sabaody, and Vic led him to the Red Line, where he survived their clash and won their bet before collapsing.
• Vic recovered, studied Haki control, endured lightning with the Divine Staff, and forged new sabers with Allen’s help.
• Vic fought and defeated Avalo Pizarro at Sabaody, then helped arrange for Tashigi to enter the Marine orphanage and learned of strange red patches found on Roger’s body.
• Vic climbed the Red Line during a storm and witnessed a mysterious meeting near a giant tree before lightning ended the scene.
• Vic intensified his lightning training as Aokiji warned him that Sakazuki could seriously injure him, while Rebecca and Wendy prepared for their graduation assessment.

Vic trained the Elite Camp under Zephyr, helped rescue Princess Paula from pirates, and received an ancient ring from Xift’s king. The Marines continued their voyage as the Five Elders took notice of Vic and Zephyr discussed Vic’s past and his urge to kill.

• Vic fought Akainu with Haki and Mind Power until Sengoku stopped them, then left for the Elite Camp with Rebecca and Wendy.
• Zephyr took charge of the Elite Camp and led the recruits to sea, where they escorted Pizarro to Impel Down and began training during the voyage.
• After the princess of Xift was kidnapped, Vic and the Elite Camp investigated the ransom demand and found her held by Cohen’s pirates.
• Vic rescued Princess Paula and killed Cohen, while Rebecca, Barnett, and the trainees defeated the other pirates and captured the survivors.
• The old king thanked Vic for saving Paula, offered him her hand in marriage, and gave him an ancient royal treasure that proved to be a patterned ring.
• The Five Elders learned that Zephyr’s trainees had foiled a Cipher Pol operation in Xift and ordered agents to keep watching Vic.
• Vic told Zephyr that pirates had killed his father and his mother had died saving him, and Zephyr let him follow his own sense of justice within the Marines.

Vic’s trainees captured pirates, while Vic rescued trafficked children and took Ain aboard as his ward. He also recruited Frodeku, whose Observation Haki could see the future, and the arc ended as the warship approached an island with a pirate ship at its dock.

• Rebecca defeated Bastille in a spar, and Vic stopped her from nearly severing the Marine officer’s head.
• Vic and Rebecca uncovered a trafficking gang, killed its members, and freed the captives.
• Vic learned that the child he rescued was Ain, who had eaten the Return-Return Fruit, and brought her aboard the warship as his ward.
• Ain took Vic’s surname and asked him to accept her as her daughter, while Vic said he would act as her guardian and big brother.
• Vic developed a way to transmit sounds into another person’s mind through Observation Haki, then discovered that blind pirate Frodeku could see the future.
• Vic persuaded Frodeku to join the Marines, and Zephyr began training him to strengthen his body and control his Observation Haki.
• Zephyr told Vic that Garp had beaten Sakazuki at the G-1 Branch to avenge him, and Vic decided to help Garp find a companion someday.
• As the warship neared an island, Vic warned the others about possible pirates, and Wendy spotted a pirate ship at the dock.

Vic defeated Dark Mantis, helped the Elite Camp grow stronger, and discovered a Poneglyph and hidden chamber inside Florida’s mountain. As Rebecca and Barnett fought pirates attacking the town, Vic left the chamber with the guardian’s secrets still unrevealed and kept watch over Rebecca.

• Vic defeated Dark Mantis, then spared him after the islanders pleaded for the pirate who had protected them.
• Vic learned that Mantis had left the Rocks Pirates to defend his hometown and warned him that a storm was coming.
• Vic trained Rebecca to sense Haki, while the Elite Camp captured pirates and Rebecca, Barnett, Wendy, and Frodeku improved their abilities.
• Vic discovered a gold-filled dimension and a Poneglyph inside his ring, then decided to preserve the stone until Robin could translate it.
• Vic and his companions visited Florida’s healing hot springs, where he sensed that the baths were draining the vitality of their users and flew into the mountain to investigate.
• Pirates attacked the town, and Rebecca and Barnett fought Desukurei and Kanbo while Wendy, Frodeku, and the townspeople helped contain the fires.
• Vic met an elderly guardian in the mountain chamber, saw a dormant mechanical giant and another Poneglyph, and learned that Roger had once visited the place.
• Vic memorized the Poneglyph despite the guardian’s warning and left to test his spatial ring while keeping watch on Rebecca’s fight.
