Sumire Kakei stammered, wanting to say something but not knowing what, feeling incredibly awkward at that moment.

After Boruto helped her steady herself, he gently pushed her away, as if he had made an unnecessary move.

"Why?" Sumire asked in a low voice.

"To make you give up," Boruto said, his tone filled with helplessness.

"The meaning of my life, the mission I've shouldered since childhood, is to avenge and fulfill my father's will to destroy Konoha. Now, you're just helping all of this happen!"

Sumire spoke extremely quickly, as if clarifying the reason, or perhaps burning her bridges!

"It's okay," Boruto said, spreading his hands, confidently. "No matter what you do, I can stop it."

"You..."

Sumire stalled again, her pretty face behind the mask already flushed. Fortunately, the mask concealed it, or she would have been mortified.

Taking a deep breath to ease the awkwardness, she glanced deeply at Boruto and finally took the last step.

She suddenly bit her finger, excitedly forming hand seals, the shyness in her eyes fading, replaced by determination.

"Summoning Jutsu: Nue!"

The bull-head pattern on Sumire's back lit up, the incomplete parts filled in by Boruto, a final push.

"Roar...!"

With an excited cry, the Nue, seeing the light of day again, emerged from the void, its red eyes filled with anticipation and killing intent, immediately focusing its murderous aura on Boruto.

Compared to the massive Nue, Boruto, as a human, seemed insignificant. The Nue had the face of a monkey, the body of a tanuki, the limbs of a tiger, and the tail of a snake.

Boruto quietly observed, then commented, "A chimera like you dares to make a sound in front of me?"

"Boruto, how are you going to stop all of this from happening now?" Sumire reminded him coldly, watching indifferently like a bystander.

Boruto was unhurried, not taking the Nue seriously at all, even though it was several times his size and could instantly explode and destroy everything!

He simply put on the black robe he had... borrowed from Sumire, causing her to pause slightly, not understanding what he was doing.

"If possible, could you lend me the mask too?" Boruto asked.

"Whatever, my target is just the village behind you," Sumire said coldly, taking off her mask and throwing it to Boruto.

"The moon is beautiful tonight, so it's destined to be a peaceful night," Boruto said inexplicably.

Concealing his figure and appearance, Boruto revealed his hand, the Tenseigan and Jōgan erupting simultaneously, the intense Chakra even creating a hurricane that blew Sumire's frail figure away.

Seeing that Sumire had reached a safe distance, Boruto slowly ascended into the air, towering above the Nue, his expression cold. He pointed his finger at the Nue's body, as if passing judgment.

He casually activated four black Truth-Seeking Balls, condensing them into round rods and throwing them around, covering the Nue and himself.

Then, he formed a hand seal, "Ninja Art: Four Red Yang Formation!"

The red barrier, like a curtain, connected the four iron rods, and a crimson barrier rose, enclosing everything within it.

Outside the barrier, Sumire's mouth was slightly open, watching everything unfold in disbelief. Within the crimson barrier, the battle between Boruto and the Nue officially began.

The Nue's roar was deafening, its raised claws able to easily cut through the air, creating wind blades that attacked Boruto.

The flexible snake tail was also one of the Nue's attack methods. It constantly waved, striking the air like a whip, and quickly extended, turning its attack target into Boruto.

Floating in mid-air, Boruto dodged the whistling wind blades, his hands not idle as he condensed the Truth-Seeking Balls into the shape of a shield, blocking the Nue's tail whip.

"Looks like you're not that great, I thought you'd have something like a Tailed Beast Ball," Boruto said, disappointed.

But this contemptuous look and behavior further provoked the Nue, its movements becoming more fierce and deadly, but under the absolute defense of the Truth-Seeking Balls, it had no real effect.

Outside the barrier, the village's high-level officials were alarmed. The Hokage and Kakashi, among others, gathered in the area where the Chakra was violently fluctuating.

The Four Red Yang Formation was so conspicuous at night, the crimson barrier like a red lantern, attracting attention.

"What's going on inside? And who is that figure fighting the unknown monster?" a Jonin guard couldn't help but ask loudly.

But the Hokage and other high-level officials had just arrived and didn't know what was happening.

"Who are you?" a Jonin asked on behalf of Naruto.

"The leader of [Moon], here specifically to apprehend the Nue," Boruto briefly introduced himself.

"[Moon]? When did the Shinobi World have such a new organization, and the leader's strength is so powerful?"

Naruto looked blank.

Inside the barrier, Boruto continued to fight the Nue, no matter how the other party attacked, it couldn't threaten the insignificant human in front of it.

Afterward, Boruto made a finger-gun gesture, concentrating a Chakra water ball imbued with Sage power, "Sage Art: Water Release: Water Spirit Wave!"

A dense, high-pitched whine cut through the air, a clear trail etched into the void as a water ball erupted at a speed undetectable to the naked eye, striking Nue's body rapidly.

Nue shuddered instantly, pushed back half a step by the powerful blow, while even more violent Chakra poured out from Nue.

But Boruto simply raised a hand slightly, and two massive jutsu formations unfolded above and below Nue, their faint glow quietly diminishing Nue's Chakra.

"Weren't we told not to use ninjutsu? Why is he...?" one of the Jonin questioned.

"No, that's Sage Mode. He's testing whether Sage Mode will work, and he's also casting a sealing jutsu!"

Naruto, with his keen eyes, noticed that this sealing jutsu was the Eight Trigrams Sealing Style!

A high-level sealing jutsu comprised of two Four Symbols Seals, similar to the jutsu Naruto had previously used to seal the Nine-Tails within himself.

Seeing Nue's form being squeezed continuously, Sumire Kakei panicked. The results she had painstakingly gathered for so long were about to be easily suppressed by Boruto; she was unwilling to accept it.

Ignoring the risk of exposure, she quietly ordered Nue to retreat!

Because Nue didn't belong here in the first place, it involved a different spatial dimension, so worldly means shouldn't be able to control it.

Upon receiving the order, Nue didn't disappoint, directly fading its presence and leaving in front of all the big shots.

Boruto didn't stop it; the sealing jutsu also failed to continue working. Nue's figure slowly disappeared from everyone's sight.

"The capture failed?"

Naruto, at this moment, hadn't figured out the situation either. He couldn't guess what the leader of Kara was thinking.

After Nue left, it suddenly revealed a snake tail, swallowing Sumire Kakei, who was watching from the outside, and finally disappeared without a trace.
