Sumire Kakei hesitated, wanting to speak but not knowing what to say. She was utterly embarrassed.

After helping her steady herself, Boruto gently pushed her away again, as though he had suddenly realized he had done something unnecessary.

"Why?" Sumire asked softly.

"So you'd give up." Boruto's tone was unexpectedly full of helplessness.

"The meaning of my life, the mission I've carried since childhood, is revenge—to inherit my father's will and destroy the Hidden Leaf Village. And now, you're helping make all of this happen!!"

Sumire spoke rapidly, as though clarifying her reasons, but even more as though making a desperate final stand!

"That's fine." Boruto spread his hands and said confidently, "No matter what kind of trouble you cause, I can stop it."

"You..."

Sumire was left speechless again. Beneath her mask, her pretty face had long since turned red. Fortunately, the mask hid it; otherwise, she would have been too embarrassed to show her face.

Taking a deep breath to ease the awkwardness, Sumire looked deeply at Boruto before finally taking the last step.

She suddenly bit her finger, formed hand seals with a hint of excitement, and the shyness in her eyes faded, replaced by resolve.

"Summoning Technique: Nue!"

The bull-head pattern on Sumire's back lit up. The incomplete portions had all been filled in by Boruto, serving as the final push.

"Roar...!!"

With an excited hoofed cry, the Nue, seeing daylight again, stepped out from the void. Its crimson eyes were filled with anticipation and killing intent as it immediately fixed its murderous gaze on Boruto.

Before the enormous Nue, Boruto, as a human, appeared tiny. It had a monkey's face, a tanuki's body, tiger limbs, and a snake's tail.

Boruto watched quietly before commenting, "A patchwork monstrosity like you dares to bargain in front of me?"

"Boruto, how are you going to stop all this from happening now?" Sumire reminded him coldly, watching with indifference as though she were merely a bystander.

Boruto remained unhurried, not taking the Nue seriously at all. Even though it was several times his size, even though it could explode in an instant and destroy everything!

He casually put on the black robe he had stripped... taken from Sumire and wore it himself. This made Sumire pause in confusion, unable to understand what he was trying to do.

"If possible, could you lend me the mask too?" Boruto asked.

"Whatever. My target is only the village behind you." Sumire spoke coldly as she removed the mask from her face and tossed it to Boruto.

"The moon is beautiful tonight, so it's destined to be a peaceful night," Boruto said inexplicably.

After concealing his figure and appearance, Boruto finally revealed his hand. The Tenseigan and Jōgan erupted at the same time, and the intense Chakra even stirred up an invisible hurricane, blowing Sumire's slender body away.

After seeing that Sumire had probably landed at a safe distance, Boruto slowly rose into the air, hovering above the Nue. His expression was cold as he pointed at its body, as though passing judgment.

With a casual motion, he activated four pitch-black Truth-Seeking Orbs, condensing them into rod-like shapes and tossing them around at will, surrounding both himself and the Nue.

Then he formed hand seals. "Ninja Art: Four Red Yang Formation!"

A red barrier, like a curtain of light, linked the four black rods together and rose into the air, enclosing everything within its crimson boundaries.

Outside the barrier, Sumire's mouth fell slightly open as she stared at the unbelievable scene. Within that crimson barrier, Boruto and Nue's battle officially began.

Nue's roar was deafening. Its raised claws could casually tear through the air, sending slashes of wind blades hurtling toward Boruto.

Its nimble snake tail was also one of Nue's weapons. It swung continuously, lashing the air like a whip kick before rapidly extending toward Boruto.

Hovering in midair, Boruto dodged the howling wind blades while shaping the Truth-Seeking Orbs into shields to block Nue's tail lashes.

"You don't look all that impressive. I thought you'd have something like a Tailed Beast Ball." Boruto was greatly disappointed.

But that contemptuous gaze and attitude only enraged Nue further. Its attacks became sharper and deadlier, yet under the absolute defense of the Truth-Seeking Orbs, they still had no real effect.

Outside the barrier, the village's higher-ups had all been alerted. The Hokage, Kakashi, and the others were the first to gather in the area where Chakra was violently surging.

The Four Red Yang Formation stood out especially clearly at night. The crimson barrier resembled a red lantern, drawing everyone's attention.

"What's happening inside? And who is that figure fighting the unknown monster?" a guarding jonin could not help shouting.

But the Hokage and the other higher-ups had only just arrived as well, and none of them knew what had happened.

Who could be powerful enough to construct the Four Red Yang Formation alone while still having the energy to fight that monster?

"Seventh Hokage, should we go in and help?" an elite jonin asked.

"No. Look, that ninja is only evading the monster's attacks. He seems perfectly at ease, yet he hasn't launched an attack. Perhaps he doesn't understand the enemy, or perhaps there's another reason he hasn't attacked."

Naruto was no longer the reckless ninja he once was. The moment he arrived, he began analyzing the battle situation.

"Nue is a summoned beast that can absorb Chakra to strengthen itself. Once it reaches a certain point, it will self-destruct," Boruto explained while fending off Nue's attacks.

Naruto nodded simply. "I see. So the barrier is meant to keep Nue from escaping, and also to deny it the chance to devour Chakra."

"Who are you?" a jonin asked on Naruto's behalf.

"I'm the leader of Moon. I came specifically to capture Nue," Boruto introduced himself briefly.

"Moon? Since when did the Shinobi World have such a rising organization? And its leader is this powerful?"

Naruto's side was utterly bewildered.

Inside the barrier, Boruto continued to circle around Nue. No matter how the creature attacked, it could not threaten the tiny human before it.

Then Boruto formed a finger-gun gesture with one hand and condensed a sphere of water infused with Senjutsu Chakra. "Sage Art: Water Release: Water Spirit Wave!"

A fine, piercing shriek tore through the air, and a vivid trail appeared in the void. A water sphere burst forth at a speed too fast for the naked eye to follow and struck Nue's body.

Nue's body shuddered as the powerful blow forced it half a step back. At the same time, even more violent Chakra poured from its body.

But Boruto merely raised a hand. Two enormous formations unfolded above Nue's head and beneath its feet, their hazy glow quietly weakening Nue's Chakra.

"Didn't they say ninjutsu couldn't be used? Why can he...?" a jonin questioned.

"No, that's Senjutsu. He's testing whether Senjutsu will work, and he's also using a sealing technique right now!"

Naruto's sharp eyes recognized it. That sealing technique was the Eight Trigrams Sealing Style!

A high-level sealing technique formed from two Four Symbols Seals—the same technique that had once sealed the Nine-Tails within Naruto.

Seeing Nue's body being compressed without pause, Sumire panicked. The result she had painstakingly accumulated for so long was about to be easily suppressed by Boruto. She was unwilling to accept it.

Ignoring the risk of exposure, she quietly ordered Nue to retreat!

Nue did not belong here in the first place. It involved a different spatial dimension, so methods from this world should not have been able to restrain it.

After receiving the command, Nue did not disappoint. It directly began fading away, leaving before the eyes of all the important figures.

Boruto did not stop it, and the sealing technique could no longer take effect. Nue's figure gradually vanished from everyone's sight.

"The capture failed?"

Naruto still had not figured out the situation. He could not guess what the leader of Moon was thinking.

After Nue left, a snake tail suddenly appeared again and swallowed Sumire, who had been watching outside, before disappearing completely.

The corners of Boruto's lips rose slightly, because everything was under his control.

He swept his indifferent gaze outside. Familiar figures from the Fourth Shinobi World War stood there, but now was not the time to fight them.

Boruto dispelled the Four Red Yang Formation. Just as everyone was about to enter, a radiant blue glow lit up around his body, and he disappeared along with it.

"Space-Time Ninjutsu!!" Naruto exclaimed.

Everyone could only stop and watch. Without Sasuke, any attempt to explore other dimensions was nothing but a fantasy. They had no way to enter a different spatial dimension.
