Arc 14Inheritance and Sovereign Rivalries

Luo Feng secured the Duan Donghe inheritance as Luo Ao became the Child of the Origin and warned humanity of the World Beast threat. In the other world, Luo Ao helped Echidna become a Fate Sovereign, reached Paragon in Water, and began maneuvering around Sovereign factions as Lilith challenged Uhtred.

  • Juehua True God agreed to Purple Moon Ancestor’s costly peace with Luo Ao, while human powerhouses studied the Rhino Emperor Game and rival factions tried to hinder them.
  • Luo Feng completed the 4,000th configuration, became Duan Donghe’s inheritor, and survived as Duan Donghe eliminated the other candidates.
  • Duan Donghe rewarded Thunder Robe Demon God, and the Universe Ocean learned that Luo Feng had won the inheritance as Luo Ao’s Flame God Clone evolved.
  • Luo Ao became the Child of the Origin, rallied humanity, and revealed that World Beasts in the Dim Land threatened the Universe Ocean.

  • After a green longsword proved to be the Life Overgod Divine Artifact, Luo Ao recognized its significance and worked with Lilith, who challenged Uhtred in a display of their Overgod Divine Artifacts.
Chapters 328–354 Vol. 4 Read

Ch. 328Ten Strongest Supreme Treasures! Purple Moon Holy Land's Dilemma

Master of Nine Fiends Prison confronted Juehua True God at the Duan Donghe Inheritance site and demanded ten Strongest Supreme Treasures from Purple Moon Holy Land to let him pass. Purple Moon Ancestor weighed the cost against losing Juehua and the chance to compete for the inheritance, leaving the decision unresolved.

  • Giant Axe Founder arrived at the trials, and Lord Peng Gong led the Human Race geniuses inside while Star Master Bei Zhen guarded the entrance.
  • Juehua True God arrived in the Azure Sky Castle, but Master of Nine Fiends Prison emerged from the Black Prison Tower and blocked his way.
  • Juehua offered three Strongest Supreme Treasures to make peace, but Master of Nine Fiends Prison demanded ten or threatened to take the treasures Juehua carried.
  • Juehua contacted Purple Moon Ancestor, who angrily considered whether to pay ten Strongest Supreme Treasures or risk losing Juehua and the four treasures he carried.
  • Purple Moon Ancestor hesitated over the costly offer while wondering how the Master of Nine Fiends Prison had gained such a powerful inheritance.

Ch. 329Purple Moon bowed his head, Birth of All Things and the Rhino Emperor Game

Purple Moon Ancestor accepted Luo Ao’s terms and agreed to hand over Supreme Treasures, while the human and East Emperor Holy Land geniuses studied the Rhino Emperor Game inside the Tomb Ship. The other factions fought to enter and targeted human solvers, but Lord Peng Gong protected them with the Universe Light Cauldron as Luo Ao wondered whether Luo Feng would reach the fourth bottleneck.

  • Juehua True God urged Purple Moon Ancestor to make peace with Luo Ao, and Purple Moon Ancestor agreed to his terms.
  • Juehua True God asked to let Purple Moon Holy Land’s geniuses enter before its Supreme Treasures arrived, but Luo Ao insisted on receiving the treasures first and keeping Juehua there.
  • Giant Axe Founder learned that Luo Ao’s presence was a Reflection clone with Peak Eighth Order strength, while his Main Combat Clone remained in Liuzhong Mountain.
  • Luo Feng, Chenxing, Lord Peng Gong, and other human powerhouses studied the Rhino Emperor Game, drawing on their earlier experience with Birth of All Things.
  • Star Master Bei Zhen and Juehua True God tried to block other factions from entering the Tomb Ship, but powerhouses from the First Reincarnation Era attacked them.
  • Giant Axe Founder learned that rival factions were targeting human solvers, while Lord Peng Gong’s Universe Light Cauldron shielded them; Luo Ao wondered whether Luo Feng could reach the fourth bottleneck.

Ch. 3304,000 configurations! The inheritor!

Luo Feng solved the Rhino Emperor Game’s 4,000th configuration within three eras, becoming Duan Donghe’s inheritor and ending the competition. Duan Donghe spared the human candidates and annihilated the other powerhouses in the Life-and-Death Corridor.

  • After reaching the third bottleneck, Luo Feng struggled with the 3,999th configuration while other factions hoped he would fail before the deadline.
  • Luo Feng realized that reaching the fourth bottleneck required completing a perfect, integrated solution rather than trying to break through prematurely.
  • Venerable Bi Xue reached the third bottleneck shortly before the three-era limit and believed he could still catch up to Luo Feng.
  • Luo Feng solved the 4,000th configuration, and Duan Donghe announced that he had reached the fourth bottleneck and become the inheritor.
  • Duan Donghe said he would spare Luo Feng’s fellow humans, then used the crystal pillars to annihilate the other candidates in the corridor.

Ch. 331A leap in the level of life, a brand-new origin!

After Luo Feng secured the Duan Donghe inheritance, his Flame God Clone completed a transformation into a new life form with a sixty-thousand-times life gene level and an embryonic origin of its own. The Human Race celebrated its victory while Luo Feng wondered how his Flame God form would affect his eventual breakthrough to True God.

  • Duan Donghe dismissed the Human Race powerhouses from the Inheritance Land and revealed that Thunder Robe Demon God had helped him find Luo Feng after making a deal to take revenge on the Divine Eye Clan.
  • Duan Donghe rewarded Thunder Robe Demon God with three treasures, including the Divine Eye Clan’s Firmament Palace and True God Realm, before the others left the Tomb Ship.
  • The Universe Ocean learned that Luo Feng had secured the Duan Donghe Lineage inheritance, and many factions began cultivating friendly ties with the Human Race.
  • Luo Ao’s Flame God Clone transformed after years of combat and evolution driven by the Blood of Yan, reaching a height of one hundred million kilometers and a sixty-thousand-times life gene level.
  • Luo Ao sensed that his Flame God Clone had formed an embryonic origin whose power differed from both the Life Origin and the Destruction Origin.

Ch. 332Flame God! Flame God! Child of the Origin

Luo Ao completed his transformation into a Flame God, gaining a realm that revealed the Origin Laws and the ability Wrath of Yan, while breaking free of the Primal Universe’s shackles. The Origin Will then ordered the Three Ancestral Gods to obey him, leaving them shocked and wondering what the Finality God Lord had done.

  • Luo Ao converted his divine power into flame origin power, and his Life Gene Level rapidly rose toward 90,000 times as his nature changed into that of a Flame God.
  • Luo Ao discovered that his new realm could evolve the Ten Origin Laws and aid his cultivation toward God King, and he awakened the combat ability Wrath of Yan.
  • Luo Ao tested Wrath of Yan and found that it greatly increased his strength, potentially letting him reach the peak of the Thirteenth Order with the complete Blood Moon Demon Armor.
  • Luo Ao realized his Flame God Clone had become independent of the Primal Universe, though it could still draw divine power from his other clones and the Endless Nether Sea.
  • The Origin Will descended upon the Ancestral God Palace and instructed the Three Ancestral Gods to obey the child of the origin.
  • The Three Ancestral Gods discussed the strange command and wondered what the Finality God Lord had done.

Ch. 333Purple Moon and Humanity

The Origin Will named Luo Ao the Child of the Origin and ordered the Ancestral God Religion to obey his requests, prompting the Three Ancestral Gods to consider helping humanity dominate the Primal Universe. As the Purple Moon Ancestor despaired over humanity’s rise, Luo Ao gathered human powerhouses for a Giant Axe Meeting to discuss using the authority he had received.

  • The Three Ancestral Gods learned that the Origin Will had made Luo Ao the Child of the Origin and ordered the Ancestral God Religion to comply with his requests.
  • The Three Ancestral Gods agreed that they could help humanity consolidate control over the Primal Universe and hoped to benefit from befriending Luo Ao.
  • The Purple Moon Ancestor raged over Luo Feng obtaining the Duan Donghe Inheritance and vowed to stop humanity from ruining his plan to possess the Primal Universe.
  • Luo Ao received the Origin Will’s goodwill and decided to use his authority to temporarily lift restrictions on Universe Supreme Masters fighting in the Primal Universe.
  • Luo Ao asked the Giant Axe Founder to convene a Giant Axe Meeting, and human powerhouses gathered as humanity’s strength and secret-technique mastery continued to grow.

Ch. 334The Human Era and the World Beast Crisis

The Human Race’s leaders celebrated the Origin Will lifting restrictions on Universe Supreme Masters, then Luo Ao revealed that the agreement was tied to the World Beast Crisis. The chapter ended with Luo Feng recognizing the threat and resolving to grow stronger.

  • Giant Axe Founder, Darkness Founder, and the other leaders discussed using their newfound strength to seize the Primal Universe’s territory while considering the risks of having no external enemies.
  • After the Giant Axe Meeting, Giant Axe Founder and the others asked Luo Ao why the Origin Will had accepted his terms, and he explained that it needed his help against a coming calamity.
  • Luo Ao revealed that World Beasts inhabited the Dim Land, explained that they had corrupted Haolei Star Lord and others, and warned that they could destroy the entire Universe Ocean.
  • Giant Axe Founder, Chaos City Lord, and the other leaders spread the warning among the Human Race’s powerhouses and urged them to avoid the Dim Land.
  • Luo Feng learned about the World Beast Crisis, understood its scale, and vowed to grow stronger for the sake of the Human Race and Earth Lineage.

Ch. 335(End of volume) Peaceful days, the time to return

Luo Ao’s Flame God Clone advanced rapidly while humanity prospered in a peaceful era, and he established three Trial Towers to select disciples. With nearly eight million years before Jin World appeared, he sent a wisp of his true spirit and his memories back to Coiling Dragon World through the Myriad Worlds Pearl.

  • Luo Ao’s Flame God Clone reached True God and developed the Peak Eighth Order Flame Dao technique Thousand Tribulations of Flame and Ash, while his other clones continued exploring the Universe Ocean.
  • Luo Feng followed the Divine Power Path toward True God and credited Luo Ao’s Nether Sea Clone with helping him choose his Third Clone.
  • The Human Race became the Primal Universe’s sole overlord, and Luo Ao’s three Trial Towers attracted human geniuses seeking to become his direct disciples.
  • Silver Moon Planet became a human holy land as the Silver Moon God Race, with its three-clone Reconstruction technique, continued to grow.
  • Luo Ao revisited the place where he had first arrived in this world and decided to return his memories to Coiling Dragon World through the Myriad Worlds Pearl.
  • The Myriad Worlds Pearl vanished from the Devouring World, carrying a wisp of Luo Ao’s true spirit back toward Coiling Dragon World.

Ch. 337The Prefect Challenge

Luo Ao and Pash watched as Echidna prepared to challenge the veteran prefect Vidas in the Water Divine Plane. The battle began with Vidas inviting Echidna to strike first, leaving the spectators waiting to see whether she could defeat him.

  • Luo Ao played Sia Chess with Pash and learned that Echidna’s prefect challenge would take place in the Water Divine Plane.
  • Luo Ao and Pash arrived at the challenge area, where Pash learned that Echidna’s Divine Ability might help her overcome Vidas.
  • Echidna and Vidas arrived above the Azure Archipelago as spectators gathered to watch their duel.
  • Vidas dismissed Echidna’s chances, but Echidna vowed that she would be the one to win.
  • Vidas announced that the battle had begun and offered Echidna the first move.

Ch. 338A Peak Showdown of the Water Law

Echidna challenged Vidas, the Azure Prefecture Lord, with ingenious Water Law techniques, but he remained stronger and used the fight to study her moves. She then revealed that her true specialty was the Edicts of Fate and summoned her Fate Divine Clone, leaving Vidas wary.

  • Echidna trapped Vidas in Deep Sea Space, but he escaped effortlessly and noted that she had fused too few Profound Mysteries.
  • Echidna and Vidas exchanged whip techniques, including Wave Overlap and Water Ripple Tide, as spectators watched their powerful clash.
  • Echidna used Flower of the Water Curtain, while Vidas held back to study her ultimate moves and Echidna sought inspiration from his techniques.
  • Echidna admitted that her Water Law attainments were not enough to defeat Vidas and announced she would use the Edicts of Fate.
  • Echidna's aura changed as she revealed her Fate Divine Clone, making Vidas realize that her greatest strength might be the Edicts of Fate.

Ch. 339The Edicts of Fate, the Dark Green Whip!

Echidna used the Edicts of Fate and her soul-powered techniques against Vidas, but his Water Law defenses let him withstand her attacks. After Echidna briefly restrained and struck him, Vidas revealed a dark green whip and launched a far stronger assault, leaving her under pressure but protected by Sovereign Artifact armor.

  • Echidna's Fate Judgment struck Vidas, but his Water Flow Spirit absorbed enough of its force to survive, while the lingering attack knocked dozens of Highgods from the sky.
  • Echidna used Fate Cage to restrain Vidas, then struck him with a golden sword and sent him into the sea, but he emerged without serious injuries.
  • Vidas recognized Echidna's strength and decided to use a newly acquired weapon against her.
  • Vidas put away his old Divine Artifact, revealed a dark green whip, and attacked Echidna with a storm of space-tearing strikes.
  • Echidna's Sovereign Artifact armor protected her from the whip, though Vidas's intensified assault appeared to put her at a disadvantage.

Ch. 340Primordial Divine Weapon

Luo Ao learned that Vidas’s whip was a Primordial Divine Weapon, one of eleven weapons born in the Higher Planes that matched Sovereign Artifacts in power and rivaled Overgod Divine Artifacts in durability. As Vidas and Echidna’s battle reached a stalemate, Echidna revealed her final trump card, Divine Ability-Stasis Domain.

  • Pash explained to Luo Ao that the dark green whip was a water-attribute Primordial Divine Weapon, prized for its extraordinary durability.
  • Luo Ao told Echidna through Soul Transmission to use her special move.
  • Echidna endured Vidas’s attacks with a Material Defense Sovereign Artifact, and Vidas proposed ending their fight in a draw.
  • Echidna rejected Vidas’s proposal and announced that she still had a trump card.
  • Echidna unleashed Divine Ability-Stasis Domain as an enormous azure crystal divine dragon phantom appeared behind her.

Ch. 341Stasis Domain

Echidna used Stasis Domain to freeze Vidas in time and kill him with Fate Judgment, winning the challenge and becoming the new Azure Prefect. As the spectators celebrated her victory, Pash reflected on how lively Prefect challenges could be.

  • Echidna unleashed Stasis Domain, slowing time around Vidas and leaving him unable to move or react.
  • Echidna pierced Vidas with Fate Judgment; her sword bypassed his Soul Defense Divine Artifact and destroyed his Divine Spark.
  • Vidas fell into the ocean, and Echidna retrieved his whip as the spectators realized the Azure Prefect was dead.
  • Echidna told Grace to announce the result, and Grace declared her the new Azure Prefect.
  • The crowd cheered Echidna’s victory while Pash and another Sovereign discussed the excitement of Prefect challenges.

Ch. 342Celestial Realm

After taking the Azure Prefect position, Echidna gave Luo Ao the Primordial Divine Weapon taken from Vidas, and the pair planned to travel through the great planes. In the Celestial Realm, Balumeng learned that Echidna had killed Vidas, then realized Rosalia might have learned about his Sovereign Spark.

  • Echidna settled into the former Azure Prefect's residence and said she would leave the prefecture's routine affairs to others.
  • Luo Ao claimed the dark green Primordial Divine Weapon, named it Azure Water, and discussed its unusual material with Echidna.
  • Echidna proposed that she and Luo Ao travel through the eleven great planes before visiting Material Planes, and Luo Ao agreed.
  • In Moxin City, Balumeng heard patrons discuss Echidna's victory and learned that she had killed Vidas and taken his Sovereign Artifact.
  • Balumeng celebrated Vidas's death and blamed Rosalia for possibly revealing that he possessed a Sovereign Spark, then suddenly realized she might have done something dangerous.

Ch. 343The Fate Sovereign Spark

Luo Ao and Echidna traveled through the Celestial Realm while Rosalia spread the secret of an ownerless Fate Sovereign Spark. The Luo River Sovereign Skadi sent a force of Highgods to the Fite Material Plane to find it.

  • Luo Ao and Echidna chose to visit Mount Sacredhall, where Magnus had perfected his comprehension of the Edicts of Fate.
  • Rosalia cursed Vidas for dying and decided that Balumeng should not become a Sovereign if she could not obtain the Sovereign Spark herself.
  • Qinuo told Skadi that a Seven-Star Firelighter from the Fite Material Plane possessed a High-level Fate Sovereign Spark, and Skadi ordered him to gather Liweier and others for an expedition.
  • Skadi sent her Divine Clone and a large group of Highgods to the Fite Material Plane to locate the spark.
  • Sangmo saw the Water Divine Plane teleportation array activate and bowed as the powerful group arrived on his island.

Ch. 344A sliver of hope

Skadi searched the Nafeite Material Plane, Fire Divine Plane, and Celestial Realm for Balumeng and the Fate High-level Sovereign Spark, but found no trace of him. After learning that the other Sovereigns knew about the Spark, she gave up the hunt, while Luo Ao and Echidna headed toward the Nila Plane, where Balumeng might still have a chance to evade capture.

  • Skadi searched the Nafeite Material Plane and learned that Balumeng had returned briefly before heading to the Celestial Realm.
  • Skadi secretly investigated Balumeng’s whereabouts from the Fire Divine Plane and the Celestial Realm but found no sign of him.
  • Ying confronted Skadi about pursuing the Fate High-level Sovereign Spark and warned that the other Sovereigns had joined the hunt.
  • Skadi reluctantly decided to stop pursuing the Spark, while Ying said others could already guess she had been investigating Balumeng.
  • Luo Ao and Echidna learned that Balumeng was being sought by the Sovereigns and reasoned that a Material Plane offered his best chance to escape.
  • Luo Ao and Echidna traveled toward the Nila Plane to see what would happen in the struggle.

Ch. 345The riddle

Luo Ao and Echidna realized Balumeng’s painting riddle depended on the history and legends of his homeland, the Fite Plane, and traveled there to find its meaning. Echidna discovered the matching story, and Luo Ao identified the likely hiding place of the Fate Sovereign Spark.

  • Luo Ao arrived at the Nila Plane and learned Balumeng had hidden the Fate Sovereign Spark there with a painting as a riddle.
  • Luo Ao brought native experts into the search while keeping watch over the gathered Paragon High-Gods.
  • Echidna’s observations about Material Planes’ distinct histories and cultures led her and Luo Ao to conclude the riddle pointed to Balumeng’s homeland, the Fite Plane.
  • Luo Ao and his companions traveled to the Fite Plane, followed by other factions who realized the same clue.
  • Echidna found a local story depicting a hero slaying a dragon, and Luo Ao used it to identify the likely target containing the treasure.

Ch. 347A New Sovereign

Luo Ao solved the riddle, retrieved a Fate High-level Sovereign Spark from Nightmare Valley, and brought it to Echidna in Spatial Turbulence. Echidna became a Fate Sovereign, while Luo Ao reflected that the other Sovereigns had given them no resistance.

  • Luo Ao raced to Nightmare Valley after identifying the riddle’s answer, and Albert approached him but chose not to fight.
  • Luo Ao found the hidden Space Ring on a Nightmare Beast and discovered it contained a Fate High-level Sovereign Spark.
  • Luo Ao entered Spatial Turbulence and met his Water Element Sovereign Clone, deciding he no longer needed the Sovereign of Death’s help.
  • Luo Ao gave the Sovereign Spark to Echidna, who refined it and became a Fate Sovereign.
  • The other Sovereigns sensed Echidna’s ascension, but Luo Ao’s party had already secured the spark beyond their reach.

Ch. 348Conflicts among Sovereigns

Luo Ao and Echidna discussed disputes between the new and old Sovereigns over status, emissaries, and participation in Planar Wars. Luo Ao remained calm about the conflicts and wondered how things were going in another world.

  • Echidna explained that new Sovereigns with multiple clones wanted more Sovereign Sparks, while older Sovereigns resisted their claims to status.
  • Echidna described disputes over recruiting former Sovereign's Emissaries, whose unreclaimed Sovereign Artifacts could give them unusually powerful equipment.
  • Echidna asked whether Luo Ao had agreed to Lilith's request, and Luo Ao said he would wait to see whether she could persuade Uhtred and Viviah.
  • Luo Ao considered how his powerful Fire Divine Clone could win Planar Wars and strengthen the Water Sovereign faction, but other Sovereigns opposed letting him participate.
  • Luo Ao told Echidna that overwhelming strength was the only answer to factional disputes, then wondered about his distant self in another world.

Ch. 349Parhaus

Luo Ao summoned Parhaus to spar in a private Water Divine Plane, hoping to gain insight that would help him become a Water Element Paragon. Their fight gave Luo Ao a glimpse of Parhaus’s distinctive defensive technique and clarified how different paths through the Water Law could lead to breakthroughs, but he had not yet broken through.

  • Luo Ao summoned Parhaus, a Water Element Paragon High-God, to spar with him.
  • Luo Ao brought Parhaus through a spatial gateway into a private Water Divine Plane he had created to keep their battle hidden.
  • Luo Ao and Parhaus fought above the sea, tearing open space and unleashing massive waves across the plane.
  • Luo Ao praised Parhaus’s Water Law attainments after their first exchange, while Parhaus believed Luo Ao still could not match a true Paragon High-God.
  • Luo Ao reflected on Parhaus’s defensive technique and realized that different profound mysteries could serve as the core of distinct paths toward becoming a Paragon.

Ch. 350Water Law, Paragon!

Luo Ao learned the ultimate essence of the Water Law while sparring with Parhaus and reached Paragon in Water, receiving more than two portions of Paragon Willpower. After rewarding Parhaus with Sovereign’s Might, Luo Ao left with him, keeping the breakthrough and its circumstances from the other Sovereigns.

  • Luo Ao asked Parhaus to repeat his defensive technique so he could sense the Water Law’s unique rhythm.
  • As Luo Ao attacked, he grasped the ultimate essence of the Flowing Water Profound Mystery and began to break through.
  • Luo Ao reached Paragon in the Water Law, and the Laws of the World granted his Water Sovereign Clone more than two portions of Paragon Willpower.
  • Parhaus congratulated Luo Ao, who thanked him for helping make the breakthrough possible.
  • Luo Ao gave Parhaus an azure bottle of Sovereign’s Might and agreed that their encounter would be described as a spar.

Ch. 351The Path of Transcendence (Two Chapters in One)

Luo Ao planned to use his dual-element Paragon attainment and soul mutation to pursue a new path of Profound Mysteries fusion that might lead to transcendence. In the Sea of Blazing Sun, a green longsword emerged from a spatial rift, revealed itself as a Sovereign Artifact, and resisted the tigerman’s attempt to bind it.

  • Luo Ao reasoned that a soul mutator who reached Paragon in two elements might fuse two complete Laws and leap toward the unprecedented 6+6 fusion.
  • Luo Ao recalled how Liermons had fused Profound Mysteries from the Fire Laws with his Path of Destruction, gaining enough strength to kill Fafnir after a near-death breakthrough.
  • Luo Ao concluded that balanced fusion was essential and that reaching Paragon in two elements might overcome the difficulties of more advanced fusion.
  • In the Sea of Blazing Sun, Angela trapped a blue-faced tigerman with her Spiderweb Heavenly Prison and prepared to strike him with her Nether Spike.
  • A green longsword flew from a spatial rift, cut through Angela’s web, and shattered her spike Divine Artifact when the tigerman used it to block her attack.
  • The tigerman recognized the sword as a likely Sovereign Artifact and tried to bind it with his blood, but the blood would not seep into it.

Ch. 352Life Overgod Sword

Kawen used the green longsword to kill Angela’s strongest Divine Clone and set out to confront Hannibal, while the surviving Angela plotted to expose him to powerful experts. Byrons recognized that the sword was actually a Life Overgod Divine Artifact and decided not to claim it for himself.

  • Kawen’s green longsword cut through Angela’s defenses and killed her strongest Divine Clone, and he crushed her Space Ring after failing to bind it.
  • Kawen left to settle accounts with Hannibal, while Angela’s surviving Death Divine Clone planned to spread word of the sword through Firelighter Castle and draw veteran experts after him.
  • Rumors of the green longsword spread through the Fire Divine Plane, bringing Kawen and the ensuing battles to the attention of the Sovereigns.
  • Byrons examined the sword and recognized it as the Life Overgod Divine Artifact that had once been lost in Spatial Turbulence.
  • Byrons decided that claiming the artifact would invite danger from other Sovereigns, so he chose to go with the current and do someone a favor.

Ch. 353A challenge between Sovereigns

Luo Ao remained stuck at the final bottleneck of fusing his Fire and Water Laws and decided that obtaining the Fire Element Sovereign’s High-level Sovereign Spark might help him break through. He enlisted Lilith’s help, and her challenge to Uhtred drew the Sovereigns’ attention as Amatis prepared to watch.

  • Luo Ao concluded that his stalled Fusion Law might require his Fire Divine Clone to refine a High-level Sovereign Spark, and he planned to target the Fire Element Sovereign, Amatis.
  • Luo Ao contacted Lilith and asked her to cooperate with his plan, and she agreed to use the favor he was owed.
  • Luo Ao’s operative Xia showed him reports and Floating Shadows about a green longsword that Amatis had obtained, which Luo Ao recognized as an Overgod Divine Artifact.
  • Lilith challenged Uhtred to a contest, surprising the other Sovereigns and prompting them to anticipate the rare battle between Edict Sovereigns.
  • Amatis decided to attend the contest, confident that his newly acquired sword had raised him among the second-tier Sovereigns.

Ch. 354Netherworld Vine

The Sovereign of Death, Lilith, faced Uhtred in a spar before the watching Sovereigns and revealed a powerful attack with her Netherworld Vine true form. Her strength shocked the spectators and led them to suspect she had perfected the Edicts of Death, possibly through unraveling soul mutation; Luo Ao was pleased that their speculation was progressing as hoped.

  • Lilith and Uhtred led the Sovereigns into spatial turbulence to begin their spar.
  • Lilith transformed into her enormous Netherworld Vine true form and unleashed hundreds of millions of vines, including her Overgod Divine Artifact of Death, in Netherworld Entanglement.
  • Uhtred countered with his Overgod Divine Spear of Destruction and World Destruction, and the two attacks collided with nearly equal force.
  • Uhtred asked whether Lilith had reached Paragon in the Edicts of Death, and she answered without confirming or denying it.
  • The watching Sovereigns speculated that Lilith might have unraveled soul mutation, while Luo Ao privately approved of their suspicions.
