Holy Kaisa Descends

More than two months later, Cheng Yaowen still had not returned. Du Kao had also learned the full course of events, and he could not help sighing. Though he did not want to admit it, he knew that Lin Ran had done the right thing.

At that moment, Pipi Xi had actually shown up in the angel palace, startling all the High-Level Guardian Angels. Pipi Xi had long secluded herself deep within the palace, and they had lost track of how many years it had been since they last saw Heavenly Base King He Xi.

"Oh? You really intend to go to Earth to meet that little brat?"

"Why not? What little brat? He's a male god. Maybe an old woman of over thirty thousand years like you will finally have someone to pair up with!" He Xi chuckled, teasing Kaisa.

The guardian angels lowered their heads, not daring to laugh aloud. He Xi was the only one who dared speak to Kaisa like that.

"I think you're the lonely one! Still, I've received some information about Morgana from Karl."

"Karl styles himself the Death God and glorifies death and ultimate fear. It's about time he was set straight."

"What level is the Taotie Legion under his rule?"

"Aerospace-class technology. They have antimatter combat weapons, but cannot harness dark energy and have no god-slaying grade combat weapons. They do, however, possess some God-Slaying Weapons obtained from Angel City."

"So that's how it is. Come with me to the Death Song Academy in the Styx Galaxy. That sick freak Karl has some information about Morgana. Death and evil always flock together, drawn by the same stink."

And so Kaisa, He Xi, and the other angels flew at tremendous speed toward the Styx Galaxy. After warning Karl, Kaisa led them onward to Earth.

That day, Rena was leading several people through their daily training aboard the Juxia when two immensely powerful presences descended upon Earth. Lin Ran's eyes lit up. It looked like Pipi Xi had come too!

Du Kao led everyone onto the deck, where they looked up at Holy Kaisa in the sky.

Lin Ran scrutinized every guardian angel, as he had not spotted Pipi Xi. Finally, an angel wearing a face mask to Yan's right caught his attention. With that waterfall of silver hair, she was definitely Pipi Xi!

"Oh? Isn't this the war maniac Du Kao? Now that I've seen you, everything seems to make sense."

"You're Holy Kaisa? What have you come to Earth for?"

"Give me a minute to read Earth... Hmm... Quite a beautiful world... Wars everywhere. Its entire history is war, war, death, death. No wonder Death God Karl is interested in you."

"Didn't you come here for war?"

"For war? Aren't you overestimating yourselves? We have no need to wage war just to waste words with you."

"Stop, stop, stop!" Realizing something was wrong, Du Kao immediately called for a halt.

"You cannot stop the angels' judgment of demons, nor should you. Ge Xiaolun, you are the inheritor of the Galaxy Power, a future god. You should learn how to make choices like a god."

Ge Xiaolun turned to Lin Ran, wanting to see his reaction. Lin Ran shrugged at him. Why look at me? I'm not close to Kaisa either. I don't have any say here!

"Queen Kaisa, Morgana has already upgraded to a fourth generation divine body. Heavenly Blade Judgment no longer poses a threat to her. You should have Yan come down," Lin Ran said.

"As I thought. I was wondering why she was so bold. You're the one looking for He Xi, aren't you?"

"Yes. Did she come?"

"No. You aren't important enough to make the Heavenly Base King travel all this way. But if you really want to see her, you can return to Merlot Heavenly Court with me. She's waiting for you there."

"All right, then I'll pack my bags and return with you, Queen Kaisa! As for Morgana, I've heard about what happened between you, but this is my home. If you fight a great battle here, many innocent civilians will be hurt. Why not wait until the demons leave Earth before surrounding and wiping them out?"

The sisters then began arguing. Lin Ran watched their bickering with a broad smile. Once Kaisa finished speaking with Morgana, the angels disappeared from Earth's skies as well.

Lin Ran leaned close to Qilin's ear and whispered for a while. A blush immediately rose on her face.

Afterward, Lin Ran also shot skyward to find the angels. Upon reaching outer space, he spotted Kaisa's throne from afar.

"Hmm? There's something strange about your wings."

"They're all right. I just hid them in the Dark Plane."

"What business do you have with Heavenly Base King He Xi?"

"Hmm? Didn't Yan tell you? I want her to help me build my Celestial Computer."

"Do you want technology or resources? Or do you want both?"

"About that! Queen Kaisa can give you those things you want too. Why do you insist on finding Heavenly Base King He Xi?"

"No particular reason. I just want to meet her. I hear the Heavenly Base King is really beautiful. As a High-Level Guardian Angel, have you seen her?"
