Chapter Summaries

Jiang Xiaofeng returned to his universe, left Doctor Strange Supreme and Natasha at Kamar-Taj, and visited the dying Odin in Norway. Odin warned Thor and Loki about Hela and died after asking Jiang Xiaofeng to look after his sons, while Jiang Xiaofeng wondered whether Frigga would die for love.

• Jiang Xiaofeng devoured the universe from episode three of “What If” and returned to his own universe.
• Jiang Xiaofeng brought Doctor Strange Supreme and Natasha to Kamar-Taj, where Doctor Strange Supreme met his weaker counterpart.
• Jiang Xiaofeng found Odin in Norway and shared grape juice with him as Odin spoke of Ragnarok and asked him to watch over Thor and Loki.
• Thor and Loki arrived, and Odin revealed that Hela was his first child and would return to Asgard.
• Odin told his sons he loved them, named Norway their home, and died as he finished his grape juice.
• Jiang Xiaofeng wondered aloud whether Frigga would die for love, startling Thor and Loki.

Jiang Xiaofeng restrained Hela with the Ten Rings, brought her to Asgard, and absorbed her into a new ring while arranging for the Asgardians to flee to Earth. He then traveled to Sakaar, where he defeated Hulk and took him from the Grandmaster.

• Hela appeared in Norway and demanded that Thor, Loki, and Jiang Xiaofeng kneel, but Jiang Xiaofeng bound her with the Ten Rings.
• Jiang Xiaofeng beat Thor while bargaining over the Asgardians’ evacuation, then the Rainbow Bridge brought them and Hela to Asgard.

• Jiang Xiaofeng activated a Celestial corpse with the Spirit of Vengeance and left the universe, while Galactus arrived too late to find Earth stripped bare.

Kunikuzushi and Abyss Lumine sought help, and The Collector and Albedo revealed their latest creation, the Hollow Knight, which resembled Jiang Xiaofeng in the king’s armor.

• The Doctor learned from the Grand Sage that Scaramouche had obtained a Void Gnosis, then ordered his agents to begin their plan.
• A Debt Collector installed a device on the Akasha Terminal, and The Doctor drained the Grand Sage before having him placed inside Shouki no Kami’s cockpit.
• Shouki no Kami absorbed the Grand Sage’s energy and began to glow as roars sounded from Chinvat Ravine; in Inazuma, Kunikuzushi sensed the Akasha had gone silent.
• Abyss Lumine and Kunikuzushi asked Yae Miko for reinforcements, and she directed them to Jiang Xiaofeng’s realm while asking Kunikuzushi to visit Ei.
• Anna sent the group to the Snow Mountain Ruins, where The Collector and Albedo unveiled the Hollow Knight, a headless creature resembling Jiang Xiaofeng in the king’s armor.

Kunikuzushi secured Ei’s promise to help fight Shouki no Kami, while Nahida and Abyss Lumine discovered that the Akasha contained Void Power and fled from Dottore’s forces. They reached the Grand Bazaar, where Nilou led them to a resistance made up of Void Eye holders.

• Kunikuzushi left The Collector’s place and sought The Giant’s help, then returned to Inazuma to ask Ei for the Shogun’s assistance.
• Kunikuzushi admitted he was wrong, and Ei agreed to help when the time came.
• Nahida sensed Void Power in the Akasha, and Abyss Lumine suspected Snezhnaya’s god had found a way to study it.
• Arama sent Nahida and Abyss Lumine out of the Sanctuary of Surasthana so he could purify the power in the Dendro Archon’s Gnosis.
• Abyss Lumine fought off Akademiya soldiers, then escaped with Nahida as Sumeru civilians controlled by their Akasha Terminals pursued them.

Scaramouche confronted The Doctor, who revealed the Tsaritsa wanted Jiang Xiaofeng drawn to Snezhnaya, as Shouki no Kami broke free and Scaramouche began fighting him. The battle left Cyno and Alhaitham in the Grand Bazaar, unsure how to help.

• Alhaitham, Cyno, Dehya, and Dunyarzad debated how to oppose the Akademiya while Scaramouche left the Grand Bazaar.
• Scaramouche said he would bring chaos to Sumeru himself, and The Doctor revealed the Tsaritsa wanted Jiang Xiaofeng and his Void Power lured to Snezhnaya.

Scaramouche destroyed Shouki no Kami and Nahida pulled a Void creature from its wreckage, while they debated what to do with it. The Doctor then activated his plan through the Akasha Terminals, leaving Nilou in danger until Dehya helped her gain a Void Eye.

• Scaramouche lured Shouki no Kami to Chinvat Ravine and destroyed it with Setsuna Shoumetsu.
• Nahida arrived with Abyss Lumine and pulled a Void creature from Shouki no Kami's head, prompting the three to argue over its fate.
• The Doctor took a Void Eye to the Sanctuary of Surasthana and ordered the Akasha Terminals activated.
• People wearing Akasha Terminals froze, while Void Eyes destroyed the terminals of those who had them.

In Sumeru, the Doctor used the Akasha to control its users and summoned Alhaitham, Lumine, and the others to the Akademiya. He revealed that he had studied Void Power and challenged Jiang Xiaofeng to meet him, leaving Lumine to seek Jiang while the Doctor prepared to take the Dendro and Electro Gnoses.

• Nilou and Alhaitham discovered that Akasha users had been immobilized and controlled, while Void Eye holders remained unaffected.
• Alhaitham bound the approaching civilians with vines and led the group toward the Akademiya; Lumine and Paimon joined them because their Void Eyes protected them.
• Jiang Xiaofeng returned to Mondstadt, learned from Anna that Nahida and Scaramouche had sought reinforcements, and then took Anna to her bedroom.
• At the Akademiya, the Doctor revealed that he had infiltrated the Akasha and obtained a Void Eye after studying Jiang Xiaofeng's power.

Lumine tracked down Jiang Xiaofeng, who sent her and Paimon to the Knights of Favonius’ confinement room after waking up. In Sumeru, Jiang Xiaofeng destroyed the corrupted Akasha and fed The Doctor a compressed ball of light before abandoning him in Japan, then left after fast-forwarding Teyvat to dawn.

• Lumine used her connection to locate Jiang Xiaofeng, who accidentally killed her when she knocked on his door and then rewound her time.
• Jiang Xiaofeng sent Lumine and Paimon to the confinement room, where they found Klee asleep, before leaving for Sumeru with The World.
• Jiang Xiaofeng met Nahida and Kunikuzushi at the Akasha and destroyed it, erasing the other Akasha Terminals as well.

Jiang Xiaofeng brought Nahida to Irminsul, where he prevented Greater Lord Rukkhadevata from disappearing by merging her with a version from another world. He then arranged a trade with “The Doctor” for the Electro Gnosis, leaving Nahida and Rukkhadevata surprised by the proposal.

• Jiang Xiaofeng visited Yae Miko at the Grand Narukami Shrine before returning to Sumeru with the Electro Gnosis.
• Nahida tried to contact Irminsul with the Electro Gnosis but failed, so Jiang Xiaofeng took her directly to Irminsul.
• Nahida met Greater Lord Rukkhadevata, who began to disappear after asking the world to forget her.
• Jiang Xiaofeng used Void Power to preserve Rukkhadevata’s soul and fused it with a version of Rukkhadevata from another world.

Jiang Xiaofeng helped Scaramouche merge with his true heart and offered him support, but Scaramouche revealed that he had received an Anemo Vision. Jiang Xiaofeng recognized its power and went to confront Venti, leaving the Vision’s origin unresolved.

• Jiang Xiaofeng returned Scaramouche’s white-flame heart and urged him to merge with it while discussing his painful past and the Raiden Shogun.
• Scaramouche merged with the heart, and Jiang Xiaofeng offered to help him and even repair Shouki no Kami.
• Scaramouche showed Jiang Xiaofeng the cyan Vision he had found beside his pillow, and Jiang Xiaofeng recognized it as an Anemo Vision.

Jiang Xiaofeng crushed Barbatos’s uprising at Windrise and erased the Anemo Archon’s supporters, but Barbatos revealed he had planted Void Power in Mondstadt City’s statue. After absorbing Barbatos’s remaining power, Jiang Xiaofeng ordered the city restored and consumed Wendy.

• Barbatos revealed himself as the Anemo Archon and attacked Jiang Xiaofeng with wind powers, but Jiang Xiaofeng easily repelled him.
• Barbatos summoned Six-Fingered Jose, Stanley, civilians, and other allies to resist, but Jiang Xiaofeng killed or erased them.
• Jiang Xiaofeng defeated Barbatos and mocked his failed plan to join forces with the Fatui and other fighters.
• Barbatos revealed that he had infused Mondstadt City’s statue with Void Power and divine power, then dispersed after Jiang Xiaofeng struck him.
• Jiang Xiaofeng absorbed Barbatos’s remaining power, restored Windrise, contacted Spider Woman to organize Mondstadt City, and consumed Wendy.

Jiang Xiaofeng announced Barbatos’s supposed death to Mondstadt and transformed the ruined Temple of the Thousand Winds into a shrine, then dealt with Scaramouche before returning to JoJo World to confront Yoshikage Kira and Jotaro.

• Spider Woman reported that the invading Fatui had been captured and the modified humans sent to Albedo’s laboratory, and Jiang Xiaofeng summoned Mondstadt’s residents to announce Barbatos, Jean, and Lisa’s deaths.
• Jiang Xiaofeng rebuilt the Temple of the Thousand Winds as a shrine with statues of Barbatos, Jean, Lisa, and the former Four Winds, suggesting Barbatos might revive through faith.
• Scaramouche visited Jiang Xiaofeng, who took back his Anemo Vision, told him to wield Electro and master every weapon, then sent him back to Sumeru through a Starry Sky Gate.

Jiang Xiaofeng entered the alley where you could not turn back to learn who created it, then survived its spirits and destroyed the alley. Reimi Sugimoto and Arnold emerged in Morioh, while Jiang Xiaofeng remained behind.

• Jotaro rushed back to the United States after Jiang Xiaofeng appeared during the fight against Yoshikage Kira and called himself Dio.
• Jiang Xiaofeng confronted Reimi Sugimoto in the alley and was dragged into its depths by the spirits after his body was torn apart.
• The World defended Reimi Sugimoto and her dog from the alley’s hands of hell as a giant conch appeared and devoured them.
• Jiang Xiaofeng returned, praised The World, and joined him in striking the ground until the alley began to collapse.
• The World punched Reimi Sugimoto and her dog out of the alley, and they found themselves unharmed in Morioh.

Jiang Xiaofeng harvested Stand abilities in Morioh, continued preparing Pucci’s plan against Jotaro, and restored Polnareff’s body during his confrontation with Diavolo. The chapter ended with Polnareff summoning a revitalized Silver Chariot to attack Diavolo.

• Jiang Xiaofeng copied the abilities of several Morioh residents, revived Aya Tsuji, and suggested that Reimi Sugimoto seek a priest in Los Angeles.
• Jiang Xiaofeng traveled to Naples to check on Giorno, then returned to Pucci in Florida and discussed targeting Jotaro’s daughter.
• Jiang Xiaofeng gave Pucci his bone, asked him to call him Dio, and had Whitesnake extract Killer Queen’s abilities for The World.

Polnareff used Anubis and the Beetle Arrow to fight Diavolo, while Jiang Xiaofeng secretly interfered with the battle. After Silver Chariot was pierced by the arrow, it transformed in a burst of light, and Polnareff disappeared.

• Polnareff used Silver Chariot to injure Diavolo, who fought back with King Crimson and Time Erasure.
• Jiang Xiaofeng interrupted Diavolo's Time Erasure and urged Polnareff to wield Anubis alongside Silver Chariot.
• Diavolo erased time to evade Polnareff's dual-wielded attack, but Anubis pierced his waist.

Silver Chariot Requiem put Diavolo and the others to sleep, then began switching their souls between bodies. Polnareff discovered the ability as the newly awakened Giorno asked how they could use it to deal with the boss.

• Jiang Xiaofeng appeared as Silver Chariot Requiem’s tune reached Diavolo, whose attempt to fight back failed as he gradually lost consciousness.
• Polnareff ordered Chariot Requiem to retrieve Anubis, but it left the tower despite his protests and said its attack had already begun.
• Narancia woke in Giorno’s body and Mista woke in Trish’s, while Polnareff realized Requiem had switched the group’s souls.

Polnareff’s group faced an approaching intruder while Chariot Requiem transformed Anubis into Anubis Requiem. Bucciarati arrived in Diavolo’s body and told the team that the Boss was a duo, while Chariot Requiem demonstrated that he could control Stands whose users’ souls he had affected.

• Polnareff offered to undo Chariot Requiem’s ability, but the group chose to keep their souls swapped while they searched for the Boss.
• Narancia spotted someone approaching, and Polpo took Anubis from Chariot Requiem and hid in the shadows.
• The approaching figure appeared to be Diavolo, but Giorno recognized Sticky Fingers and realized Bucciarati’s soul was inside the Boss’s body.
• Chariot Requiem took Anubis and used the Beetle Arrow to evolve him into Anubis Requiem, whose ability was to control living creatures’ minds.
• Bucciarati arrived in Diavolo’s body, and Polnareff explained the soul-swapping situation before Bucciarati revealed that the Boss was a duo.

Jiang Xiaofeng secretly stopped Diavolo from attacking Narancia, but Giorno later uncovered that Diavolo was hiding in Trish. After Polnareff canceled Chariot Requiem’s ability, Bucciarati’s soul departed, and Diavolo escaped; Giorno rescued Narancia and confronted him.
