Jiang Xiaofeng waited for the Rite of Descension and ran into Shenhe, who had come down from the mountain at Cloud Retainer’s request. He stayed with her, shared fries and chicken with her despite her dietary restrictions, and left with her to buy medicinal herbs.

• Jiang Xiaofeng put away the divine power he had taken and spent the next week listening to storytellers with Zhongli and fighting Childe.
• Jiang Xiaofeng spotted Shenhe near Bubu Pharmacy and learned that Cloud Retainer had sent her to find him and discuss her damaged red cord.
• Jiang Xiaofeng introduced Shenhe to Madame Ping, then took her to watch preparations for the Rite of Descension.
• Jiang Xiaofeng brought fries from the King's Box and made Shenhe try one, after which she kept eating and said she would hold him responsible if she could no longer focus on cultivating.

• The narrator walked alone through a marathon-like event until two girls joined him, one of whom he recognized as Eula.
• The narrator teased Eula about her red wedding clothes before noticing that he wore matching red clothes.
• Eula led the narrator past his relatives and into a hotel, where he discovered that they were the couple at a wedding banquet.
• Eula expressed her affection, and the narrator embraced her and accepted her as his wife.
• The narrator recognized the other participants among the wedding guests, carried Eula out of the hotel, and later wrote down the dream.

Jiang Xiaofeng overwhelmed Lumine and helped bring down the Jade Chamber to defeat Osial, while Ningguang sacrificed her treasured home to save Liyue. A week later, Lumine found Jiang Xiaofeng with the Geo Gnosis at the Northland Bank, where Zhongli and La Signora were also present.

He overcame the former king’s illusion, but the king vanished, warning that they were bound together as long as Jiang Xiaofeng lived.

• Jiang Xiaofeng spent nearly ten years studying the Void Heart and learned it let him evolve, remain undying in the Abyss, and wield imagined abilities through Void Power.
• Jiang Xiaofeng decided to erode all of Teyvat with Void Power and considered recruiting followers to help him.
• Aether ordered an Abyss Herald not to interfere with Jiang Xiaofeng, whose Abyssal protection repelled Aether’s attacks.
• The former king trapped Jiang Xiaofeng in an illusion of the modern world, where Jiang Xiaofeng exposed the illusion and killed the king’s apparent body.

Jiang Xiaofeng returned to Teyvat, attacked Keqing and Ganyu after they detained him, then came back to the King's Box seeking the Panacea. Anna realized the person before her was not truly Xiaofeng and challenged the former king to bring him back.

• Jiang Xiaofeng arrived in Liyue Harbor through a Starry Sky Gate and followed the Millelith to an interrogation room without resisting.
• Keqing summoned Ganyu to question Jiang Xiaofeng, but he exploded, destroying the Ministry of Civil Affairs and gravely injuring both women.

The Vinster King attacked Anna and her allies while seeking the Panacea, but Paimon returned with the Pale King to rescue Anna and confront him. The Pale King fought the Vinster King, determined to kill him and give the body back to its original owner.

• The Vinster King attacked Anna, knocked the three sisters unconscious, and created memory-born puppets from the Ley Line to keep her allies occupied.
• The Vinster King severed the Hand of the King's arm and cornered Anna, while Paimon escaped through a time gate after dodging his attack.
• Anna destroyed the puppets and fought the Vinster King, but he quickly defeated her and raised the Cursed Sword to kill her.
• Paimon rescued Anna as the Pale King arrived in a king's body and blocked the Vinster King's killing blow.

Inside his mental world, Jiang Xiaofeng learned that the king’s soul had transmigrated into his body in Jiang Xiaofeng’s world, and the king disappeared after asking him to apologize to Anna and the others.

• The Vinster King summoned an Old God’s eye, but the Pale King shattered it with his scythe.
• The Vinster King called down a meteor and attacked with Void Power, disintegrating Third and blasting Eldest and Second back into the Void.
• Fourth fired an explosive bolt that the Vinster King caught, and the blast dispersed his giant Void hand as the Pale King absorbed the released power.
• The Pale King explained to Paimon and Anna that the Vinster King had gone mad after merging with the king’s memories and succumbing to the Old God’s whispers.
• Jiang Xiaofeng escaped the Vinster King’s mental world, where the king in purple armor destroyed the Vinster King and revealed that he had transmigrated into Jiang Xiaofeng’s body in another world.

Jiang Xiaofeng defeated the Vinster King, restored his body, and reunited with Anna, Paimon, and his companions. While he comforted them and discussed how Anna might regain her appearance, the Beheaded discovered a valley of failed experiments, and the Collector realized he had neglected to find a way to change the Queen back.
