Lumine returned to Mondstadt and questioned Venti and Jean about the new king, but the changed city’s authorities treated her as a radical and she escaped toward the Dawn Winery. Meanwhile, Jiang Xiaofeng discovered a Black Hole Trigger while experimenting with Void creatures.

• Lumine searched for Venti at Angel's Share but ran into him while he was walking through Mondstadt with a friend, and Venti said relinquishing power had been his choice.
• Lumine questioned Jean at the Knights of Favonius headquarters, but Jean alerted the guards and Endur and Enqir locked Lumine in a dungeon cell.
• Lumine broke out with a Starfell Sword, escaped over Mondstadt’s wall, and headed for the Dawn Winery, while Endur and Enqir let Diluc handle her.
• Jiang Xiaofeng continued experimenting with Void creatures and found a black-and-white object resembling a pistol grip among the dismantled remains of Ye Fan’s system, identifying it as the Black Hole Trigger.

Jiang Xiaofeng traveled to the Kamen Rider Build world to devour Boss E and gain the power of a black hole. After consuming Boss E and Boss K, he considered devouring a planet to celebrate.

• Qin Feng received a system mission to defeat Jiang Xiaofeng, while the system warned him that the target was too dangerous.
• Jiang Xiaofeng landed near Touto, repelled Qin Feng, and demanded that he bring Soichi Isurugi to him.
• Qin Feng brought Soichi Isurugi and the other Riders to Jiang Xiaofeng, who gave Soichi the Black Hole Trigger and Driver.

Diluc explained to Lumine and Paimon how Jiang Xiaofeng had taken control of Mondstadt and why its people accepted his rule. He revealed that Jiang Xiaofeng had resurrected Diluc’s father, leaving Lumine to reckon with the reason Diluc would not oppose the new king.

• Diluc welcomed Lumine and Paimon at Dawn Winery and explained that Jiang Xiaofeng had taken Mondstadt, improved living conditions, and replaced the Knights of Favonius with the Void Knights.
• Diluc said Jiang Xiaofeng distributed useful powers to his subjects, while rebellion was discouraged through rewards for informants and penalties for discussing old Mondstadt.
• Diluc revealed that Jiang Xiaofeng had implanted Mental Seals in Jean, Lisa, and nearly all members of the Lawrence Clan, making them loyal to the new regime.

Lumine left the Dawn Winery determined to challenge Mondstadt’s new king, Jiang Xiaofeng, and Kaeya and Diluc doubted she could restore the old Mondstadt. After accepting a Void Eye at the king’s statue, Lumine saw Jiang Xiaofeng testing a black hole that could devour planets.

• Lumine concluded that Jiang Xiaofeng had done no good and suspected Mondstadt’s citizens were being controlled, while Paimon worried she would fight him.
• Kaeya brought Crepus to the Dawn Winery and revealed that Jean had ordered Lumine arrested after she spoke with her.
• Crepus failed to persuade Lumine to accept the new Mondstadt, and Kaeya said she had only a ten percent chance of restoring the old one.

Kokomi told Lumine that peace talks between the Resistance and the Shogunate Army were stalled, while Jiang Xiaofeng prepared hot pot in Mondstadt and later appeared at the Grand Narukami Shrine. The chapter ended with Yae Miko introducing Jiang Xiaofeng to Lumine as Kitsune Saiguu’s lover.

• Kokomi told Lumine that Watatsumi’s troops opposed peace talks despite Orobashi no Mikoto’s support for a peaceful resolution, and she worried the Shogunate Army’s offer might be a trap.

• Lumine completed her commissions and noticed Katheryne seemed unusual, unaware of the Void Eye glowing at the back of her neck.

• Jiang Xiaofeng abandoned his plan to devour the Douluo universe and returned to Mondstadt, prompting a boy in an abandoned timeline to resolve to grow stronger.
• Jiang Xiaofeng resurrected Bosacius, removed his Karmic Debt, and brought him to Wangshu Inn, where he learned Xiao had gone to Liyue Harbor.

• Lumine urged Teppei and the Coral Army to retreat to Watatsumi Island, but Teppei refused and declared them enemies.
• Teppei sent the Coral Army soldiers back and fought Lumine, using Electro attacks and transforming the Kitain Cross Spear into a lightning snake.
• Lumine countered Teppei’s attacks with her Blood Sword and elemental powers, but Teppei transformed the snake into armor and Snake Fangs for their next clash.
• Jiang Xiaofeng arrived in Sumeru, found Collei at Gandharva Ville, and changed her Dendro Vision into a black Void Eye.
• Collei summoned Cuilein-Anbar with the changed Vision and left her room, unaware that its Void Power was probing her Eleazar.
• Jiang Xiaofeng considered Collei’s Eleazar unusual because he had never encountered the condition in another timeline, despite having devised a treatment for it.

Jiang Xiaofeng visited Sumeru, briefly freed Nahida from the Sanctuary of Surasthana, and gave her a way to contact him before returning to Mondstadt. There, he introduced the Collector and Albedo to Kamen Rider Build’s Fullbottles as a magenta Rider sensed a new Rider’s power.

• Jiang Xiaofeng sampled Sumeru dishes at Lambad’s restaurant and learned how to make Charcoal-Baked Ajilenakh Cakes.
