Wen Nan grew up as a young master of the Wen Family after being deliberately switched with Wen Ruohuai as a baby. According to the completed police investigation, a nurse accepted money from the Wen Family’s enemies to carry out the switch. Neither Wen Nan nor his biological parents caused it 20.

Wen Ruohuai returned to the Wen Family on Wen Nan’s birthday. The revelation changed how Wen Nan’s adoptive parents, brothers, relatives, and friends treated him. Leaving the Wen Family did not immediately end Wen Nan’s difficulties. His management company unilaterally terminated his contract after Love 5, his assistant quit, and he found himself effectively blacklisted. Although he held evidence against the Wen Family, he realized that others could still be used to obstruct his career 120.

Xie encountered him running through the rain in Hollow City and offered him a ride. He also lent Wen Nan Sister Lili as an assistant and arranged for his film and television company to discuss working with him. By New Year’s Day, Weili'ang had signed Wen Nan, who resolved to repay the opportunity through hard work and continued studying his script during the holiday 120 121 124.

Island Competition

Wen Nan entered the island competition on Team B. After his initial group dispersed, he searched for Xie, hoping to repay his kindness even if he could only act as a shield. Qin Fang defeated his attempted ambush and cost him one of his two lives 192.

Later, Wen Nan overheard Zhao Kunming and Yuan Yi discussing a plan to isolate Xie and eliminate his allies. He shot Zhao Kunming before eventually reuniting with Xie’s group 194 200.

While cooperating with Xie, Wen Nan collected puzzle pieces from balloons and retrieved an airdrop containing the next zone’s map and a red flare gun. Once the groups separated again, he quickly withdrew to avoid being caught among opposing contestants. He survived into the final circle, where Xie found and eliminated him 200 211 216 220.

Public Vindication and Final Break

Netizens investigating the smears against Wen Nan uncovered Wen Ruohuai’s use of paid online attackers. The investigation brought the switched-baby story and both families’ treatment of Wen Nan into public view, provoking widespread criticism of Wen Ruohuai and the Wen Family 274.

After being expelled from the family and losing his assets to scammers, Wen Ruohuai approached Wen Nan’s agency for help. Wen Nan refused, rejecting the claim that he owed compensation for their childhood switch. When Wen Ruohuai grabbed his arm, Lili removed him 275.
