"Orochimaru... I..."
Manda truly lived up to his status as a giant summoned beast. Even after being blasted by Didaze's C3 No. 18, he could still speak.
"He actually survived?"
Orochimaru was somewhat astonished. He hadn't expected Manda to be so resilient.
But after uttering those few words, Manda died before he could say the rest.
Orochimaru instantly felt relieved.
Since he had already decided to screw Manda over, Manda's death was actually a good thing for him.
"Didaze, are we continuing? Can your chakra hold out?"
Kōdo looked at Didaze and asked.
C3 No. 18 had been tremendously powerful. He felt that Didaze had spent nearly half his chakra on that massive attack alone.
"I'm fine. I still have enough chakra to keep up the aerial bombardment!"
Didaze descended a little farther, entering Konoha's attack range.
But Didaze didn't care. He intended to crush Konoha completely! Even taking a few injuries wouldn't matter, and besides, he had Kōdo, his super tank!
"Big Brother Kōdo, sorry for the trouble, but cover me!"
Didaze said to Kōdo.
"Don't worry. As long as I'm alive, I won't let you suffer even the slightest injury!"
Kōdo gave his solemn assurance.
Then Kōdo activated Steel Release and stood in front of Didaze, keeping a constant watch on the Konoha ninja.
"Explosive Clay: Explosive Bow!"
Didaze took out some clay and quickly molded a bow and arrows.
This was the method he had used against the Hyūga last time, but things were different now. He was in the sky, and there were no longer any Aburame Clan members among the Konoha ninja.
Even if the Five Basic Nature Transformations could hit airborne targets, they weren't very effective at it. With Kōdo protecting him, Didaze could loose his arrows without restraint!
"Fire Style: Great Fireball Technique!"
"Wind Release: Great Breakthrough!"
"Water Release: Water Shockwave!"
Anti-air ninjutsu flew toward Didaze, but there was no Earth Release or Lightning Release among them.
"Come on..."
Didaze smiled faintly. Since there was no Lightning Release, he had nothing to fear!
Didaze drew his bow, nocked an arrow, and fired at Orochimaru!
"Damn it... he's targeting me!"
Orochimaru fled in a sorry state.
Although the clay arrows were a little weaker, getting caught in their explosions would still leave him severely injured!
"Big Brother Han, you should go down and use Tailed Beast Transformation too!"
Didaze had changed his approach. He would attack Shimura Danzō and Orochimaru simultaneously.
Whether he could kill those two or not, as long as he kept them occupied and sent them fleeing, Han could transform into the complete Five-Tails and wipe out all the remaining ninja!

Han's answer was brief. Then he jumped straight off the giant clay bird, landing on the ground in a great cloud of dust.

Han transformed directly into the complete Five-Tails, then lowered his head and charged!
This was the most chakra-efficient method. After all, the Five-Tails itself excelled in taijutsu, so Han generally used taijutsu unless it was necessary to do otherwise.
The enormous Five-Tails instantly threw the Konoha ninja into chaos with his charge, leaving corpses strewn everywhere he passed!
"Now my job is to keep Orochimaru and Shimura Danzō occupied."
Didaze smiled slightly. As long as he held those two down, Han could wipe out these Konoha ninja as quickly as possible.
These Konoha ninja couldn't even escape. After all, this was the Five-Tails, the best at running!
Didaze continued firing arrows. This time, he shot ten in succession, seven at Orochimaru and three at Shimura Danzō!
"Wind Release: Vacuum Great Sphere!"
Seeing the explosive arrows coming from the sky, Shimura Danzō immediately used Wind Release to try to blow them away!
"Explode!"
Didaze immediately detonated them early when he saw this. After all, if they were blown away, they would deal even less damage.
Shimura Danzō was caught in the blast and sent rolling several times before he barely managed to stop.
Orochimaru had it even worse. Three arrows had left Shimura Danzō in such a miserable state; seven were even more terrifying.
"Damn it... why is he singling me out?!"
As Orochimaru watched seven arrows hurtle toward him, terror instantly seized his heart.
He also couldn't understand why Shimura Danzō only got three while he got seven.
He wasn't any stronger than Shimura Danzō!
But Didaze clearly wasn't going to give Orochimaru much time to think. The arrows were already shining with a brilliant light as they neared him!
"Orochimaru-Style Substitution Technique!"
Orochimaru immediately used the Orochimaru-Style Substitution Technique.
Although he hadn't undergone Soft Body Modification yet, he could still use the Orochimaru-Style Substitution Technique. It simply consumed more chakra.
A moment later, Orochimaru was spat out of his own body, flying straight forward!
Using the Orochimaru-Style Substitution Technique, Orochimaru quickly put some distance between himself and the arrows.
"You think that little distance will help?"
Didaze scoffed, then detonated all seven arrows!
A tremendous explosion rang out, and Orochimaru's flying speed instantly rose by more than one notch!
"Urgh!"
Orochimaru slammed straight into a rock and spat out a great mouthful of blood. His already pale face now had no trace of color left.
"There are twenty more... let's see how you escape!"
Didaze sneered. Today, he would make sure Orochimaru stayed here for good!
After all, compared with Shimura Danzō, Orochimaru posed far too great a threat!
If he summoned the First and Second through Impure World Reincarnation, all of Didaze's earlier efforts would go to waste. That was why Didaze would do everything he could to target Orochimaru today, seeking to kill him!
Meanwhile, Han had nearly finished killing the remaining Konoha ninja.
The only survivors were from the Uchiha Clan. They had all awakened their eyes on the spot, and every one of them had awakened three tomoe.
Although fewer than ten remained, they all had three tomoe and fought fearlessly, holding Han back for the moment.
But that didn't matter. Given ten or twenty minutes, Han would still send these few three-tomoe users to their deaths!
