Dodai immediately used Rubber Wall to block the birds!
If he left those birds unchecked any longer, these Explosion Release birds might slaughter every last one of his people!

Didaze looked down at the Rubber Wall, lost in thought.
"Explosive Clay: Giant Bird!"
Didaze molded another bird identical to the one he was riding, and the enormous bird rushed toward the Rubber Wall!
"Explode!"
At Didaze's low shout, the giant bird instantly exploded, leaving the Rubber Wall on the verge of collapse.
"We... we survived!"
When the Kumogakure ninja heard the enormous explosion, they had thought they were doomed. To their surprise, they looked up and found themselves unharmed!
"Lava Release: Multi-Layered Rubber Wall!"
Dodai added several more layers to the Rubber Wall, hoping to block Didaze's giant birds with them!
Even with Didaze's offensive power, breaking through the Rubber Wall with giant birds would waste a great deal of his chakra.
"Let's try this... I just don't know if it'll work..."
Up in the sky, Didaze began molding clay at top speed.
"Why has it gone quiet?"
Dodai maintained the Rubber Wall, growing puzzled as nothing happened for some time.
In the sky.
"Since I'm using Deidara's techniques, I'll stick with the original names."
"This is just the thing for dealing with something like that!"
"C2: Dragon!"
As Didaze's fingers moved, he quickly molded a lifelike dragon!
"Go, Giant Dragon!"
Didaze tossed the Giant Dragon out, and it swelled in the wind, soon growing larger than the giant bird!
"Everyone, protect yourselves!"
Dodai's expression changed drastically at the sight of the enormous flying dragon!
Then he put all his strength into forming the Rubber Wall, hoping to withstand the Giant Dragon!
Boom, boom, boom, boom!
Contrary to Dodai's expectations, the Giant Dragon did not explode immediately. Instead, it kept spitting out explosive clay from the sky!
"Is it just a tool for automatically producing explosive clay?"
Dodai let out a small breath of relief.
He had thought that enormous flying dragon would charge straight at them and explode.
If it was only dropping small bombs, it would be troublesome, but he could still block them.
"No!"
Dodai's expression suddenly changed drastically!
"All the attacks are hitting a single point on the right!"
Dodai sensed that one point on the Rubber Wall was being relentlessly attacked, while everywhere else was untouched!
"Lava Release: Rubber Ball!"
Dodai realized that Didaze wanted to wear down his Rubber Wall with small bombs first, then blow it open completely with the Giant Dragon's explosion!
Dodai immediately formed a Rubber Ball, hoping to encase the Giant Dragon and reduce the power of its explosion!
"Only just noticed? It's already too late!"
"Explode!"
As Didaze made a hand gesture, the Giant Dragon instantly erupted in an earth-shattering explosion!
The blast completely blew open the weakened point in Dodai's Rubber Wall!
"Captain Didaze blew open their turtle shell!"
An Iwagakure ninja spoke excitedly.
"Hahaha, those muscle-headed brutes from Kumogakure know how powerful our Iwagakure Explosion Release is now!"
The Iwagakure ninja grew excited. They had already slaughtered all the Kumogakure ninja at the front except Yotsuki A!
Although Yotsuki A was still charging in and out of the Iwagakure army, killing as he went, his killing efficiency was clearly far lower than Didaze's!
And now the Kumogakure ninja at the rear could not get out of their turtle shell. Iwagakure practically had victory in the bag!
"Explosive Clay: Two-Winged Bird!"
Didaze rapidly molded two-winged birds. These birds could reach the inside of Dodai's Rubber Wall the fastest!
The two-winged birds flew into the Rubber Wall at tremendous speed!
"Lava Release: Rubber Wall!"
Dodai was doing everything he could to repair the Rubber Wall, but his repairs were still a little too slow!
The two-winged birds still made it inside the Rubber Wall, seeking out living creatures on their own to detonate!
Boom, boom, boom, boom!
Explosions rang out one after another inside the Rubber Wall.
"Uncle Dodai, we can't just keep defending. If we keep defending like this, I'm afraid we'll be wiped out!"
After falling back to the rear, Yotsuki A clenched his fists as he looked at the Kumogakure ninja there, where the two-winged birds had killed or wounded another hundred people.
"Let me go! I'll deal with this Explosion Release user!"
"Uncle Dodai, take the Kumogakure army and retreat. We've lost this time!"
Yotsuki A planned to draw the fire himself and buy Dodai and the others time to leave!
"No, you're Kumogakure's hope! You're the new generation. You can't go throw your life away!"
"Uncle Dodai, don't worry. His bombs can't kill me!"
Yotsuki A could roughly gauge the power of Didaze's bombs. Apart from the Giant Dragon's explosion, none of the blasts would hurt him too badly with his Lightning Release Armor activated.
"Enough, don't say any more. Although Father told me to listen to your advice more, I'm still the one in command. I order you to take the army and leave immediately!"
Seeing Dodai's reluctance to leave, Yotsuki A gave him a direct order.
"As you command..."
Dodai gave Yotsuki A a long look before replying.
"Everyone from Kumogakure, retreat! Split into a hundred squads and withdraw!"
At Dodai's command, the terrified Kumogakure ninja immediately began to retreat.
Though scared out of their wits, they still forced themselves to remain rational, moving out in small units.
Each squad had only ten people, and they quickly dispersed into the woods.
Didaze had no desire to pursue them either, because Yotsuki A was watching him like a hawk from below.
If he attacked Yotsuki A, word would quickly spread that his Explosion Release was countered by Lightning Release.
Didaze did not want to expose this weakness so soon. Until he worked out how to resolve it, he would avoid any possibility of it leaking.
Why isn't he attacking?
Yotsuki A waited for Didaze to strike as though facing a formidable enemy, but even after more than ten minutes, when Kumogakure's main force had finished withdrawing, Didaze still had not thrown a single Clay Bomb.
Only the large white clay bird continued flapping its wings in the sky, putting tremendous pressure on Yotsuki A.
They've gotten far enough away. I should retreat too.
Yotsuki A had waited for more than ten minutes, and Kumogakure's main force had already retreated far away. He did not want to stay here facing an army of over a thousand alone either.
Yotsuki A swiftly turned into a streak of blue lightning and vanished from the battlefield!
"Why didn't Lord Didaze take down that black bastard?"
An Iwagakure ninja asked in confusion.
"You're an idiot. Lord Didaze has used so many techniques already. How much chakra could he have left?"
Another Iwagakure ninja retorted.
If Didaze could have heard their conversation, he would certainly have said that he had plenty of mana, but unfortunately, he had run into his natural counter.
It was only because he had never fired at Yotsuki A. Otherwise, the Lightning Release Armor surrounding him might have been enough to snuff out his Explosion Release.
"I have to fix this weakness as soon as possible!"
