• Yang Jiao escaped the Heavenly Soldiers through a token that brought him to the Eternal Market, where he chose to pursue the Martial Dao until the Ninth Cauldron realm.
• Hongxuan learned from Houtu about the Sub-Sage realm, then used the Time Treasure Mirror to locate and claim the Gate of Space after defeating its imprisoned Evil Being.
• Hongxuan learned from Golden Fortune Daoist and Houtu that the Evil Beings were linked to an opposing Chaos World and the Extraterrestrial Demons, then resolved to grow stronger and investigate their return.
• Yang Jiao reunited with Yang Jian and Yang Chan, and the siblings split Peach Mountain to rescue Yaoji, and Yang Jiao later accepted Cangjie’s invitation to train at Mount Wuyi.
• As the Investiture of the Gods Tribulation approached, Hongxuan joined the Jie Sect’s preparations and warned Lord Tongtian about collusion and Guiling’s impending crisis.

Hongxuan manipulated the escalating Investiture Great Tribulation while advancing his body refinement and trying to protect Longji and the Three Xiao Sisters. The conflict split the Three Purities, claimed several disciples, and left Zhao Gongming in danger as Lu Ya became trapped by a curse.

• Hongxuan’s hidden guidance led four Jie Sect immortals to kill Grand Yi, prompting Celestial Worthy of Primordial Beginning to confront them before Lord Tongtian intervened and challenged Yuanshi.
• Hongxuan discovered Yuanshi’s hostility, returned to Mount Wuyi, and completed his breakthrough into the Tenth Revolution Body after enduring the Decline of Flesh trial.
• When the Investiture Great Tribulation began, Hongxuan agreed to protect Princess Longji and appointed Yang Jiao as Dharma Protector Divine General of the Ziwei Imperial Palace.

Hongxuan’s schemes bring down Lu Ya and alter the fates of several Jie Sect disciples as the Investiture Great Tribulation intensifies. After enduring two dangerous decay tribulations, he watches the Sages’ conflicts deepen and leaves Yuanshi under suspicion from both Lord Tongtian and the Western Sect.

• Hongxuan’s trap drained Lu Ya until he died, and Hongxuan warned Longji that she would soon face a life-and-death crisis.
• The Three Xiao Sisters purified Zhao Gongming’s curse and established the Nine Twists Yellow River Formation, while Hongxuan arranged for Randeng and other Chan Sect disciples to attack Zhao and then rescued him, returning his Sea-Stabilizing Pearls.
• Yuanshi shattered the Three Xiao Sisters’ formation and attacked them, but Lord Tongtian intervened, clashed with Yuanshi, and took the sisters away after Laozi separated them.
• Hongxuan brought the Three Xiao Sisters to the Netherworld Underworld, then endured the Decline of Mana and Decline of the Primordial Spirit, emerging with a mid-tier Chaos Godfiend Origin Foundation.

Hongxuan intervened as Lord Tongtian’s Jie Sect fought Laozi and Yuanshi’s forces in the Immortal-Slaying Sword Formation, while the Western Sages seized disciples for their sect. The battle ended with Holy Mother Jinling dead, the formation dismissed, and the Sages viewing Hongxuan as a threat.

• Sage Receiving left after Celestial Worthy of Primordial Beginning refused to hand over Mosquito Daoist or the damaged Three-Petal Golden Lotus of Merit, and Hongxuan hid the lotus within Mosquito Daoist.
• Holy Mother Jinling defeated Chan Sect disciples, while Lei Ze returned to the Heavenly Court after defeating Kunpeng and Lord Tongtian recalled the Four Immortal-Slaying Swords and summoned the Jie Sect to battle.
• Lord Tongtian raised the Immortal-Slaying Sword Formation, and Laozi and Yuanshi sent their disciples and Quasi-Sage allies against its gates.
• Hongxuan saved Duobao from Guang Chengzi and two Quasi-Sages, then killed the Quasi-Sages and sent their True Spirits toward the Investiture of the Gods.
