There, he entered a secret realm and broke through to the Grand Dao Realm, where an axe-wielding man recognized him as the person he had awaited.

Hongxuan returned to the Primordial Wilderness, strengthened its foundation, and prepared for an invasion by the Evil Clan. After reaching the Grand Dao Supreme Realm, he trapped the invading army in his formation and began confronting its strongest members.

• Pangu revealed the Evil Clan’s plot, destroyed the Plague Clan’s forces at the Land of Opportunity, and gave Hongxuan a Dao Fruit pearl and treasures for Houtu and the Three Xiao Sisters.
• Hongxuan merged the pearl into the Primordial World, raising its foundation and loosening its cultivation limits, then explained the Grand Dao Realm to the gathered powers.
• The Evil Clan’s Saint Lords secretly prepared for war while Hongxuan improved his divine abilities and deduced that an army of a hundred Grand Dao Supremes would attack the Primordial World.
• Hongxuan created the Primordial Ruin Spirit-Slaying Formation, reached the Grand Dao Supreme Realm, and positioned the formation around the Primordial World.
