A one-eyed old man, around sixty and slightly hunched over, held an enamel teacup and stopped Liu San from approaching.
Liu San was uncertain. He sized up the man. At first glance, he seemed utterly ordinary, with nothing strange about him, but upon closer inspection, he gave off an unusual and eerie feeling.
"Ghost Tamer?" After a brief hesitation, he immediately asked.
The hunched old man inside the ancestral hall held his enamel teacup and said, "The ancestral hall of Taiping Town is not a place a dead man like you can enter. Don't ask so many questions. Go back where you came from."
"Your place is haunted. I'm here on behalf of Headquarters to investigate. Do you know about Ghost Lake? Zhongzhou City has already been sealed off because of it, and many people have died." Liu San stood at the entrance of the ancestral hall, not daring to step inside lightly.
He was asking questions, but he was also probing the situation here.
"Which year isn't haunted outside? Which year doesn't see people die? That isn't something I can manage. I'm only the caretaker of this ancestral
