"Run, hurry!"
In a secluded alley in Baishui Town, several young people fled for their lives in panic. They did not even dare look back, because they had encountered the most terrifying thing of their lives here.
A vicious ghost.
And the ghost had targeted them and begun killing.
There had originally been far more of them—a whole group—but after the vicious ghost's attacks, only these few had survived.
They had survived because they were young and could run faster.
"Ah! No!"
A miserable scream echoed through the silent alley. A young man was attacked by the ghost. While running at full speed, he suddenly fell to the ground, clutching his head in agony. Then his head shattered as though something had struck it with tremendous force.
Blood splattered everywhere. The young man convulsed twice before falling still.
The remaining people became even more terrified. They fled the alley like madmen, trying to get away from the invisible, terrifying ghost.
"Faster, go faster! Once we get out of this alley, we split up and run. We'll definitely have a chance to survive!" a man at the front shouted.
Though terrified, he still retained some rationality. He knew what gave them the best chance of survival.
But there were fewer and fewer survivors behind him. Everyone desperately ran forward, and only one thought remained in their minds: overtake the people ahead.
Only then would the next person to die not be them. Even if it only delayed their deaths briefly, even a few more seconds of life were better than nothing.
No one wanted to die, and no one wanted to be killed by the vicious ghost behind them.
