In the dim cemetery, a series of dinging knocks rang out.
The ghost wandering through the cemetery was carving gravestones again, leaving the names of the living upon them.
Once a new name was completed, the person bearing that name within the cemetery would be buried there forever, becoming a corpse in an old grave, slowly rotting away and disappearing.
Yang Jian remained expressionless as he endured the knocking and strode quickly along the dirt path between the grave mounds.
The ghost killed too slowly.
It could only kill one person at a time. If he had not been unlucky enough to be targeted earlier, he would not have been this anxious.

The gravestone was made of bluestone. Perhaps affected by the environment here, the stone was mottled blue-black, gloomy and cold, making people deeply uncomfortable.
It was as if it had been infected by some terrifying curse.
