(Male protagonist's perspective)
I was trying to be less avant-garde and aggressive, but people wouldn't allow me to. I couldn't accept the disrespect of a Southern knight as a hero of the North. The Hound successfully defused the situation, and everyone retreated after seeing the Sith devour a man alive, but just then, Joffrey stepped forward and began to speak arrogantly.
"Hey, you, from now on, this beast is mine. You can go ask my grandpa for your money."
I sighed deeply and said.
"No, my prince. This isn't a pet, this is a wild animal. If I weren't here, she would tear you all to pieces, and she won't be sold."
He looked angry, and with each passing second he seemed to grow angrier, like a baby about to throw a tantrum. He turned to the Hound and said.
" The Hound, kill the child! Lock up the beast! It's the prince's order!"
"Do you want to die?"
The Hound's question made him waver, and you could see the confusion on his face.
"Didn't you see what that beast did to your men? And what can your swords do to a beast?"
It seemed that, at that moment, he realized that a sword couldn't kill a beast. Because of all the commotion, people began to gather here. Seeing this, Joffrey grew bolder, walked up to Sith, grabbed her saddle, and tried to mount her. I said to Sith.
-Don't hurt him, or it will be a nuisance.-
Before he could stop it, Joffrey was struck in the face by the Sith's thick tail. The tail slammed into his face like a large log, breaking his nose. He began to cry and shout death threats.
-I told you not to hurt him.-
"Master, I didn't. How could I know he was so weak? I just nudged him gently with my tail. Why do all the strong men listen to this weakling? I thought he was as strong as the others."
She licked her blood-stained lips and pointed with her head at the half-eaten corpse.
That man was stronger than Ironborn; his sword strikes were excruciating. Therefore, I also felt he was very strong. Why kneel before such a weakling?
-Because his father is a king, do you think Eddard Stark is stronger than us?
-No, we can kill him-
Why don't we do that?
Because he has many, many soldiers, we want to establish our own territory.
-Yes, that's about it. This weakling's father is Eddard Stark's master.-
She paused for a moment, thought about what I had said, and then spoke.
Therefore, he was the leader of the largest ethnic group.
My familiars are really intelligent. Most of them are as smart as a nine-year-old child, and I think Poppy is even smarter than it, but they don't understand human social structures. Because to them, the most powerful should set the rules.
- Yes, more or less, you'll understand when the time comes. -
-Before we become strong enough, should we also become like them?-
I've said it before, they are very smart.
Yes, we are.
-So I hurt that vulnerable cub, wasn't that a bad thing?-
- Yes, it's a bit annoying. I might have to lock you up for a few days until things are resolved. -
But master, I don't like enclosed spaces.
Perhaps I can turn this into a victory for the North.
Minutes later, we were surrounded by all the knights and lords. Lord Stark and the King arrived; our good Queen wept bitterly when she saw that her golden boy was in trouble. Lord Stark ordered me to be placed under house arrest until the truth came out.
Immediately afterwards, Lord Stark entered the room and closed the door.
"What are you thinking? You've hurt the prince, and now Robert must execute either you or your Beast. Because you are a hero of the North, he cannot do this before the war, and strictly speaking, you have done nothing wrong except to defend your honor. But your Beast is different. It's already locked in the Lannister lions' cage and cannot possibly come out alive."
"Don't worry, sir. Everything will be alright."
Upon hearing this, Lord Stark did not breathe a sigh of relief; instead, he became even more agitated.
"So, what are you planning to do now?"
"It's nothing. Ser Drasil can't do anything to his king, so I won't do anything either. Even if I begged him, he wouldn't let the Sith off the hook for the sake of appearances."
He looked even more puzzled and said...
"Then why do you look so relaxed? I don't believe for a second that you would let your pet go to its death."
"Sir, she's more than just a pet to me. She's my friend, and of course she won't die."
"If you want me to save her, I can't."
"Of course, I don't expect you to do anything, except set the stage. Someone more powerful than the heroes of the North will take the stage."
It seems that at that very moment, he suddenly realized something.
"Your other identity, Emre the Druid!"
"That's right."
"I will not participate in such dishonest behavior."
This time, I'm a little angry at Lord Stark's obsession with honor.
"What's dishonest about this, sir? It's to enhance the honor of the North, and to elevate the glory of the Old Gods!"
"Is your power truly a gift from the Old Gods?"
"This is what I believe. My lord, I have a dream, a dream of a strong North. A North that can be self-sufficient, without begging from the noble lords of the Reach or the Vale. This is my dream, and whether you support it or not, I will strive for it. This is the will of the Old Gods."
Lord Stark pondered for a moment, then spoke.
"If you swear you won't harm our King Robert, I'll help you."
"I swear I won't hurt him."
"No, it's not like that. You swear an oath through a formal ceremony."
"Okay."
I drew a circle on the ground for the oath-taking ceremony, and we all went into the circle.
"I swear that in tomorrow's court I will not harm King Robert or any of his relatives."
