(Male protagonist's perspective)
After we captured Ten Towers, the House Stonetree surrendered. Through my familiars, I can see that the armies of the Reach, the Westerlands, and the Riverlands are still fighting on the islands they are responsible for. The Westerlands army almost conquered Great Wyk Island, the Reach army also conquered Old Wyk, but the Riverlands army couldn't even take down three Citadel. The only one they were able to take down was House Orkwood's Citadel, thanks to the Blackfish.
How could the family of a supreme ruler be so unremarkable? They have only one prominent figure, while the rest are either old fogies or fools. Their opponents are small families, or families that have lost most of their military strength but are still struggling.
As for the Reach army, Randyll Tarly was nearly finished with the campaign, but the fat idiot of the Roses stole his credit. This naturally angered Tarly, but he couldn't say anything to his lord. The fat moron had alienated his greatest military asset for some achievement.
The Westerlands Army, led by the Old Lion, nearly burned the entire Great Wyk. Tywin's actions were clear: he was seeking revenge. He killed every male in every noble family, except for the children.
The Vale lords were transferred to Pyke to deal with the other Citadel and began a siege of Pyke Castle, in case the last wet rat decided to escape. The Royal Fleet blockaded the seas, while the Vale army controlled the land.
Finally, under the leadership of our fat king, many died at Salt Cliff Road. He is now on his way to Pyke with the armies of the Crownlands and Stormlands. This rebellion is nearing its end, and I must contribute more to the Battle of Pyke.
Because I used Lion's Roar twice, my throat was badly injured, but thanks to the healing magic of ( Flower of Life ), my throat healed within a day. However, I cannot use it more than twice a day, otherwise I must use healing magic to use it again.
We're on our way to Pyke, and we'll arrive tomorrow. Through the eyes of my familiar, I see Great Wyk in ruins. The merciless Tywin didn't leave a single stone. His siege hound, " The Mountain," slaughtered every villager he found and burned down every building. Now, only three Citadel remain standing on the vast island, Citadel fronts stained crimson with blood from the beheadings. The bards will likely write another song about this massacre.
Because Tywin burned everything while we spent time stabilizing the island and moving the slaves to safety, he left the island and managed to catch up with us. The Westerlands Army will also arrive at Pyke tomorrow.
As dawn broke and the sun began to rise over the sea, we were to reach Pyke in five or six hours. As usual, Caygan and I went into Lord Stark's room. Harrick and the other guards stood watch at the door. I had distinguished myself in many battles during this war.
Harrick and Caygan earned their due reputation. People nicknamed them Harrick, the " Iron Giants," and some called him the " Giants." Caygan was known as " The Viper " because of his hit-and-run fighting style. In this war, I realized he was not suited to be a warrior.
"As I was lost in my own thoughts," Lord Stark said.
"Before you leave, I want you to promise me that you will never again insult or offend the King."
I muttered to myself so that the guards outside wouldn't hear me speaking ill of the king.
"My lord, you know as well as I do. The king is a man without faith; he unintentionally insulted the Old Gods."
Lord Stark sighed.
"Even so, he is still a king. I know you don't like him, but you must respect his title."
"I know, adults. So I won't show any impulsive behavior. I'm trying to become more self-controlled and calm."
Lord Stark seemed pleased with what I said and took a sip of his drink. I said in a low voice...
"Even if the king behaves like a wild boar, I will not insult or offend him."
No sooner had I finished speaking than Lord Stark spat out the wine in his mouth, a slight smile appearing on his face, but he quickly straightened up again.
"He is the king. He can do as he pleases, but you shouldn't, even if you are acting as Emre the Druid. Remember this: a hundred friends are too few, and one enemy is too many for a wise man."
I transformed into an eagle and flew out of the kitchen; Lord Stark did not make me swear an oath this time. As I became more composed, his trust in me seemed to grow stronger each day.
When I arrived at Pyke, half of the Vale army was besieging the Pyke, while the other half had already attacked and captured the other smaller Citadel within Pyke. King Robert's army had only joined the siege the day before. I landed and transformed in the center of the camp, terrifying the lords and soldiers of the Crownlands. The king, hearing of my arrival, emerged from his tent while tidying himself up. It seemed I had interrupted his important business.
Should I laugh at him? No, I promised Lord Stark. I should do as everyone else does and pretend I don't know what he's doing, but it's really hard to do that when the woman inside is still giggling. I said with a half-bow.
"My King"
He greeted me in a stern voice.
" Druid "
"Your Majesty, I have come to fulfill my promise."
"You've already helped us on Saltcliffe, so you don't need to come this time."
"Your Majesty, that was only a small favor. I helped out of respect for you, but this time it was a promise I made to you, and my promise is my contract."
"Then let's continue."
"On the way here, I saw the army from the North, and the army from the Westerlands will arrive in a few hours. Should I wait for them or continue as you suggested?"
"Oh, Ned is coming. I think we can wait for them."
