(Male protagonist's perspective)

As I stood atop the mountain and looked out, I saw the ruins of Botley Castle and Lordsport. They had been destroyed by the Lords of the Vale on the King's orders. Lordsport was the main port of Pyke and the largest town on the Iron Islands. The Lords of the Vale had successfully driven Wynch and Botley out of the Citadel, but had not been able to eliminate them. They were able to retreat into Pyke Castle; and because the remnants of the Ironborn fleet had also retreated into the Citadel, House Greyjoy still numbered twenty thousand within its Citadel.

King Robert's army was four times larger, but the armies of the Riverlands and the Reach were still on other islands, and King Robert was poised to strike. Therefore, he would lead 45,000 men to begin the siege within hours. Now, everything was beyond the range of the Scorpion and catapults.

Beneath the canopy, Robert and a robust man with a long, golden beard were chatting and laughing. The man was dressed in red. From my observation and that of my familiar, I had heard of this man's name. His name was Thoros of Myr. He was a red priest of R'hllor, the Red God. His followers were so fanatical that they would burn any non-believers if possible, and in many places in Essos, they did indeed do so.

This priest—I can't call him a devout believer. As far as I know, he's a master of close combat. Five years ago, he even defeated the Mountain in Prince Tommen's Name Day contest. He set his sword ablaze with Wildfire, startling his warhorse and dismounting his enemy. I heard he used 20 swords in that battle. Because he destroyed swords with Wildfire, the Smith wanted to charge him three times the usual amount, but the king was happy to pay for his drinking buddy. Seeing the two of them, I could only think of how a kingdom is driven to bankruptcy. Thoros stood up from his chair and came over to me.

"I've heard a lot about you, but there's only one God, and if your power is real, it can only come from R'hllor."

Was he arguing with me, or was he drunk? I think it was the latter. I used " Appraisal " on him. My eyes widened in surprise, because this was the first time I had ever seen someone with magic power outside the North. His magic power was low, only 100, but that didn't mean he had practiced magic.

He might have this talent, but he's never put in the effort. So, it might have accumulated with age, or he might be a low-level magic user. His physical attributes are also good, with 13 Strength and 12 Speed. Of course, I can't completely trust " Appraisal Spell." This might not be his full strength. When people are fighting for their lives, they often push beyond their limits. In this war, I learned a very important thing about this spell.

It doesn't show a person's peak condition; it only shows their baseline state—the body's capabilities at that moment. This doesn't mean people suddenly gain magical powers during combat; it simply means they use their bodies more effectively. Of course, the chemicals in our bodies are different when we're relaxed versus when we're fighting or fleeing. I think that's the main reason their condition might change when they're fighting desperately. I pulled myself out of these thoughts and looked at the red-robed priest before me...

"Red-robed priest, are you yearning for a beautiful death?"

"Oh no, I love life."

"No, you must be, otherwise you wouldn't have insulted the Old Gods in front of me."

I may not truly believe in the Old Gods, but I will not allow an Essos drunkard to insult our culture.

"No, I mean the Lord of Light appears before us in many guises. Ultimately, you may be serving him without even realizing it."

I attacked him with a level one spell to see what he would do. He flew back, landing face-first in the mud. Was he hiding his power, or was he truly a drunkard? Meanwhile, the Kingsguard erected a wall in front of Robert, but he said...

"Get out of my way! It's like you can stop him from doing whatever he wants."

Sometimes I like his fearless behavior. I might even like him if he weren't such an unbearable alcoholic.

Thoros said, rubbing his backside.

"Wow, now I'm sure you have magic, but you don't need to. I was just saying we serve the same god."

"Perzys( Fireball )"

I lit the Fireball in my hand and said.

Let's see if your God truly loves you.

I was about to cast a spell. Robert threw the goblet to the ground and shouted:

"Enough! Is this how the priests of God behave before the king?"

I stopped, extinguishing the Fireball Spell. He has 100 points of magic power; he couldn't be this weak. I couldn't guess his strength level. If he was hiding it, then judging from his magic power, he could only be a level two spellcaster at most. He extended his hand and shook mine, saying...

"As the king said, we should stop fighting."

I cast a shield spell and took his hand, but the instant I grasped it, I channeled magic into his body. If he knew how to control magic, nothing would happen, but if he didn't, he would feel unwell, and if I continued to channel magic into him, he would die. A few seconds later, I stopped to observe him, but strangely, as I poured magic into him, I sensed something else within him. A different kind of energy, one I had never felt before.

He began to stagger and vomit incessantly. Those around us thought it was due to the alcohol, but it was clearly caused by magic. Even so, I couldn't be sure if he would allow me to harm him, because he knew it wouldn't be permanent. As long as I was here, I should be wary of him.
