Wuxin earned Hakurei’s trust, learned to control his death-aligned Cosmo, and traveled to Sanctuary after investigating a murdered priestess. He defeated Tenma in a sparring match, then learned that Specters had infiltrated Sanctuary and killed young Saints.

• Wuxin woke in Hakurei and Yuzuriha’s care with no memory of his identity, chose his own name, and asked to join Sanctuary and learn Cosmo.
• After surviving an attack in Jamir, Wuxin persuaded Hakurei to let him train, awakened his Sixth Sense, and developed ghost fire and control over corpse qi.
• Wuxin revived a skeleton with simulated corpse qi, passed Hakurei’s cliff test, and became Hakurei’s disciple, learning Sekishiki techniques and close combat.
• Hakurei sent Wuxin to Tehran to investigate a murdered priestess, where Wuxin joined Walter of Canes Venatici and Ursa Major Mike in pursuing suspects and confronting the Blasphemer.
• Manigoldo rescued Wuxin and the other Saints from the Blasphemer, who escaped through a dimensional passage, and the group returned to Sanctuary.
• Wuxin explored Sanctuary, chose to pursue a Silver Cloth, and sparred with Tenma, defeating him after trapping his soul with Sekishiki Meikai Ha.
• Tenma warned Wuxin that Specters had infiltrated Sanctuary and killed Apprentice Saints and Bronze Saints, while Manigoldo reported the Blasphemer but Sanctuary’s superiors could not identify him.

Wuxin won the Crateris Cloth, learned ice techniques, and entered the Underworld to rescue Tenma and seek the Soapberry fruit. After Persephone sent them to retrieve a source of divine fire, Wuxin and Tenma fought their way through Specters toward the Great Waterfall of Blood.

• Wuxin survived Niobe’s assassination attempt, trained with Manigoldo, and defeated several candidates to win the Cloth contest.
• Wuxin defeated the awakened Malefic Star among the candidates, then won the Crateris Cloth from Baker in a separate duel.
• Wuxin learned the Crateris Cloth’s abilities and trained with Dégel, while Sage ordered the Gold Saints to patrol in pairs.
• After learning that Alone had awakened as Hades and Tenma’s soul was trapped in the Underworld, Wuxin accepted Sage’s mission to rescue Tenma and find fruit for the Demon-Subduing Rosary.
• Wuxin found Tenma in the First Prison, disguised him with death energy, and led him into the Second Prison while evading Specters.
• Wuxin and Tenma encountered Persephone in a garden, where she strengthened them and sent them to find Hephaestus and a seed of the Searing Heart Spirit Flame.
• Wuxin and Tenma crossed the Seventh Prison toward the Great Waterfall of Blood as Wuxin promised to send Tenma home after finding the Soapberry fruit.
• Wuxin and Tenma fought Elhart and the ghost wardens, and Wuxin pursued the injured Elhart while preparing his Demonic Blue Flames.
