Would you think I was strange?

Luo Lianqing froze on the spot, genuinely caught off guard. Weren't they talking about Wen Ce? Why had Zhou Chi suddenly come up?

She remembered the way Wen Ce had studied Zhou Chi's girlfriend earlier, and instantly felt a little unhappy.

Fine, not a little. Very.

"You really like big-boobed lolis?" Luo Lianqing didn't even notice the sour note in her voice. There was a hint of hurt in her eyes as she looked at Wen Ce.

Her question left Wen Ce rather speechless. "Can you give the big-boobed lolis a rest? When did I ever say I liked big-boobed lolis?"

Luo Lianqing pursed her lips and said nothing. She was unhappy and didn't want to talk anymore.

Seeing that she didn't want to answer, Wen Ce didn't push her, but inwardly, he felt a little more certain of his guess.

He led Luo Lianqing toward the snack section. "Want to buy some snacks?"

That sparked a little interest in her. Then Wen Ce noticed that most of what she picked were high-calorie snacks that would make her gain weight if she ate too much.

"Aren't you worried about gaining weight, buying all these?" Wen Ce asked hesitantly.

Luo Lianqing stopped picking out chips. Her expression didn't look very good, and her voice trembled a little. "Am I fat?"

She looked down at herself after saying that. There was a tiny bit of flesh around her waist, but her ab lines were still there, weren't they? Her legs didn't seem to have gained any fat either...

Her chest... her chest did seem to have grown a little lately...

She was a little bewildered. Was she fat?

Luo Lianqing suddenly reached over, grabbed Wen Ce's hand, and placed it on her waist. "I'm not fat, right?"

Even through her clothes, Wen Ce could feel how slender her waist was. And soft.

He looked at his hand, feeling as though he could encircle her waist with both hands.

That outfit really did show off her figure. A slender waist, long legs... big breasts...

Wen Ce abruptly looked away, but his hand gave her waist an uncontrollable squeeze before he withdrew it. He rubbed his nose as if nothing had happened, secretly breathing a sigh of relief. Good thing he hadn't actually gotten a nosebleed.

"You're not fat. I was only asking. Don't get nervous." Only when he spoke did he realize his voice was a little hoarse.

Luo Lianqing felt a little disappointed. Hadn't Miaomiao said she could tell whether he liked her through a little physical contact?

Why hadn't Wen Ce reacted even after touching her waist? Had there not been enough contact?

Luo Lianqing thought she could try something a little more intimate next time. At least he didn't seem averse to it.

"I usually go to the gym..." Despite saying that, she reluctantly put two bags of chips back. "I go to the gym so I don't get fat, but how do you have muscles?"

She asked Wen Ce curiously, "I hardly ever see you go out."

Along the way, they picked up quite a few more odds and ends.

Wen Ce noticed that Luo Lianqing really was different today. For instance, she kept making "accidental" physical contact with him.

And every time, there was a guilty look in those big eyes of hers. One glance was enough to tell she was doing it on purpose.

Wen Ce saw through it but said nothing. He just wanted to see what she was up to.

When they reached the self-checkout, Luo Lianqing stopped Wen Ce and said earnestly, "I'll pay. You're still a student. Don't go spending money recklessly."

Wen Ce was rather amused. "Aren't you a student too, senior~?"

"It's different for me. I have a part-time job. A single illustration pays pretty well." Luo Lianqing pushed him aside, her gaze habitually sweeping over the little display rack beside them.

Then she suddenly reached out and picked up a box of condoms, muttering, "I meant to buy these last time, but I forgot..."

Beside her, Wen Ce was speechless.

Even though he knew she only wanted to buy them for a look, this really invited misunderstandings!

He awkwardly covered his face with one hand, then glanced around.

Finally, his eyes met those of a young man who looked like a student.

The young man quickly looked away in embarrassment when their eyes met.

Wen Ce was speechless. Hopefully he isn't a student at our university. Otherwise, this is going to be seriously awkward. And hard to explain.

Still oblivious, Luo Lianqing finished paying without any fuss and reached for the two large bags.

Wen Ce took her wrist and moved her hand aside. "I'll carry them."

Then he picked up both large bags.

Luo Lianqing blinked and followed him. "Let me carry one?"

"No need. Just stay close. We're going home..."

The young man stared after them with a look of utter holy shit on his face, feeling as though he had discovered something incredible.

He pulled out his phone to take a picture of them from behind. Today's hottest forum post had to be his!

But just as he raised it, he saw the man walking ahead suddenly turn to look in his direction.

Flustered, the young man lowered his phone.

Only after the two had gone far away did he open the university forum and decisively make a post.

"Fuck! Ran into 'Goddess Luo' at the supermarket today. My heart is broken! She was with a guy!"

The first post read: As the title says, not only was she with a guy, she even bought human-baby death bags! Waaaaah, my heart is broken! But tbh, she's absolutely gorgeous even without makeup!

The campus belle poll had been pretty popular lately, and as soon as the post went up, people started asking who the guy was. Pics or it didn't happen.

Looking utterly heartbroken, the young man replied: A pretty tall, refined-looking guy. Probably a senior! Waaaah, I didn't dare take a picture. He looked right at me as soon as I raised my phone! Like he had eyes in the back of his head!

For the moment, neither of them knew about the uproar online.

Luo Lianqing had only noticed him suddenly looking back and asked curiously, "Did you see someone you know?"

"No." Wen Ce shook his head. Remembering the box of condoms, he glanced at her. "Do you have a use for that many?"

"Huh? Oh, you mean the condoms I just bought? No, I only bought them to have a look." Luo Lianqing no longer felt the embarrassment she had at first when she talked about this. After all, Wen Ce had already seen her in even more mortifying situations.

"Come to think of it, there are differences between here and abroad. They don't seem to have different sizes here," Luo Lianqing said quietly. "The first time I went to a pharmacy to buy them, I even wondered why they just handed them over without asking."

As she spoke, she looked at Wen Ce and asked very seriously, "Would you think I was strange? Or did what I did just now embarrass you?"

Wen Ce watched her lower her head slightly in disappointment. "If it did, you can tell me. I'll be more careful in the future."
