Senju Kenya defected from Konoha, rescued Hizashi Hyuga, and built a stronghold and commerce empire with Haku and Zabuza. After confronting Danzo’s Root and turning their attack into a ransom, Kenya faced Orochimaru at sea, who wanted to study his bloodline and abilities.

• Kenya struck Shimura Danzō and Hiruzen Sarutobi, destroyed part of Hokage Rock, and left Konoha after declaring his defection.
• Kenya sold Black Iron Hardwood, rescued Hizashi Hyuga from the Kumogakure delegation, and sent him back to Konoha with instructions to train and watch its leaders.
• Kenya established a training base on a deserted island, found Haku, and took him in as his number one chef.

Kenya defeated Orochimaru, built his strength and power overseas, and brought Tsunade and his allies back to Konoha. After forcing his way through Root’s blockade and sponsoring the Chunin Ninja Exams, he headed for the Senju estate while Danzo enlisted Orochimaru to kill him.

• Kenya drove Orochimaru from his submarine and seized its research equipment for the Iron Fist Chamber of Commerce’s island infirmary.
• Kenya’s Garp Template fusion reached 50%, and he found Tsunade gambling before convincing her to join his overseas base.
• Tsunade and Shizune arrived on the island, where Tsunade agreed to help rebuild the Senju while Kenya began training in Wood Release and Haki.
• Kenya awakened Conqueror’s Haki, then killed Toroi and defeated Kumogakure’s attackers at the island’s harbor.
• Kenya and his allies decided to return to Konoha, while Hiruzen and his advisors learned of the Iron Fist Chamber of Commerce’s growing influence.

Senju Kenya secured his demands from Hiruzen and began drawing Naruto, Sasuke, Gaara, and Hinata into his orbit while dominating the Chunin Ninja Exams. The arc ended with Orochimaru driven off, the surviving candidates gathered in the tower, and Hinata beginning strength training with Kenya’s iron knuckles.

• Kenya demanded legal status for the Iron Fist Chamber of Commerce and the return of the Senju estate, then took Hiruzen’s pipe and threatened to demolish the Hokage building if Hiruzen did not comply by sundown.
• Kenya befriended Naruto, drove the Nine-Tails’ chakra back into its seal, and gave Naruto a demanding daily training regimen before overwhelming Sasuke and three chunin who challenged him.
• Kenya joined the Chunin Ninja Exams as their financial backer and discipline supervisor, enforcing order during the written test and announcing that he would make a show of strength in the Forest of Death.

Hinata defeated Neji in the preliminaries, while Kenya later stopped Shukaku’s rampage and confronted Orochimaru during the attack on Konoha. After breaking Orochimaru’s control over the reanimated Hashirama and Tobirama, Kenya faced Orochimaru’s Eight-Headed Serpent.

• During the month before the finals, Kenya trained Sasuke and Naruto, and the Chunin Exams finals began with Konoha crowded by spectators and dignitaries.
• Kenya overheard Danzo’s alliance with Orochimaru and his plan to seize power, then confronted Shukaku when the beast rampaged through the arena.
• Kenya subdued Shukaku with Armament Haki, prompting the beast to surrender and return to Gaara’s seal.
