Qi Ling had thought it through clearly. Since the Heart of the Ocean was such an important artifact, there was definitely more than just the Ghost Shark as an obstacle; various other dangers awaited the two of them.

Hearing that Qi Ling was actually negotiating with Ghost Shark, Hai Wei'er was taken aback. How come she hadn't thought of that?

Then, Qi Ling slowly tightened the True Dragon Chain in her hand, increasing the pressure on the Ghost Shark! But no matter how much pressure she applied, the creature didn't even blink, leaving Qi Ling puzzled.

"Isn't that even better? Let me see just how terrifying these guys really are!" Qi Ling said, binding the Ghost Shark tightly before throwing it directly at the Ghost Piranha.
As it turned out, the Ghost Shark wasn't lying. In less than fifteen minutes, it was completely reduced to ashes, leaving no trace of its existence whatsoever. In fact, because it had no physical form, there wasn't even a smell of blood.
Tens of thousands of Ghost Piranha were no match for even the enormous Ghost Shark. After devouring the Ghost Shark, they all turned their attention to Hai Wei'er and Qi Ling.
Being stared at by tens of thousands of emotionless eyes, filled only with the most primal hunger, filled Hai Wei'er with such immense fear that her legs went weak and she almost lost her footing.
Just then, a strong hand supported Hai Wei'er and pulled her into its embrace! Qi Ling said firmly to Hai Wei'er, "Don't worry, I'm here, everything will be alright."
