"Hehe, has the World Government finally made its move?"
"They sent Cipher Pol to act directly. Sure enough, letting the Celestial Dragons learn about Brunei Fine Wine was the right move!"
"Hehe, let's see what the Brunei Family does now!"
"They dared to steal our business. They deserve the trouble coming their way."
"Cutting off someone's livelihood is like killing their parents. Naturally, we couldn't just sit back and wait for death. They can't blame us for this."
"I went to a great deal of trouble to get King Oran to present Brunei wine to the Celestial Dragons. Sure enough, given how greedy and unreasonable the Celestial Dragons are, they certainly wouldn't let something as good as Brunei Fine Wine slip away."
"It's a shame we'll never get to drink Brunei Fine Wine again. I have to say, it really is delicious!"
"Hehe, I've stockpiled a hundred thousand bottles of Brunei Fine Wine. If you want some, you can buy it from me. As for the price, though, how does a million Beli a bottle sound?"
"You bastard, you're charging me more than ten times the price?"
"Hehe, that's already a special favor to you. There won't be any more Brunei wine from now on. It'll be wine supplied exclusively to the Celestial Dragons, so of course it calls for that sort of price."
Not far from the Brunei Family headquarters, several lavishly dressed nobles and merchants were talking.
"Mr. Kate, I'm sure you already know why we've come. Congratulations, Mr. Kate. To be chosen by the Celestial Dragons is something countless people can only dream of!"
In the reception room at the Brunei Family headquarters, Spandine sat on a sofa with his feet propped up on the glass table in front of him as he spoke to Kate, who stood before him.
"I'm grateful for the Celestial Dragons' favor, but please forgive me. I cannot agree to this!" Kate said.
"What? Y-you dare defy the Celestial Dragons' orders?" Spandine couldn't believe that a mere merchant would dare defy the Celestial Dragons' orders.
"Mr. Kate, you'd better think this through. What consequences will you face if you defy the Celestial Dragons?" Spandine continued with a sneer.
"Oh? What consequences would those be?" Just then, the reception room door opened, and two people walked in. The young man in the lead asked with a smile.
"Who are you?"
"Defying the Celestial Dragons' orders is a serious crime. At worst, you could be sentenced to death!"
Spandine sneered at the two people who had entered.
"Zesi, you're here!"
"Yes. I heard someone drove away our guests, so I came to take a look. Is it this stupid-looking fellow?" Zesi asked with a smile.
"Stupid-looking? You bastard, do you know who you're talking to? Standing before you is the chief of the World Government's CP5! Who do you think you're talking to?"
"CP5? I've really never heard of it. I've only heard of CP0, CP9, and the like. What the hell is CP5?" Zesi said with a smile.
"CP0, CP9! How do you know..."
Spandine cried out in shock.
Of the World Government's Cipher Pol agencies, only CP1 through CP8 were publicly known.
Even within Cipher Pol, CP9 was a hidden, exceptionally powerful agency that few people knew about.
CP0, on the other hand, could be made known to the public, but they served the Five Elders and the Celestial Dragons directly. Ordinary people had no way of coming into contact with them.
How could someone from this Brunei Family know about them?
"Go back and tell that so-called Celestial Dragon that if he wants our wine, he can bring his Beli and get in line. If he wants to rob our Brunei Family, let CP0 and a Marine Admiral come with a fleet!"
"Y-you... do you know what you're saying?"
"Feiluo!"
Cold sweat dripped from Spandine's forehead. At some point, a throwing knife had appeared at his throat.
The throwing knife gleamed gold, its blade incredibly sharp. It pointed straight at his throat, its edge pressed against his skin.
If it went just a tiny bit farther, his throat would bleed.
"This is an order from the Celestial Dragon Saint Arandos! Do you know what the consequences of defying Saint Arandos's orders are?"
"I don't know what the consequences of defying some Saint Arandos's orders are. All I know is that if you utter one more word, the knife will pierce your throat, and you'll never see tomorrow's sun," Feiluo said coldly.
"Don't, don't, don't! I'll go! I'll go!" Spandine said in surrender, then hurried away in fright.
"Zesi, I'm afraid this won't be so easy to resolve. They won't give up that easily!" After watching Spandine leave, Kate spoke to Zesi.
"These are nothing but a few clowns. The Celestial Dragons and the World Government behind them are the real trouble. But that's fine too. It's time our Brunei Family showed some strength. Otherwise, trouble like this will never stop coming, especially the trouble lurking behind them. As long as we can withstand the pressure from the World Government and the Celestial Dragons this time, few people will dare cause us trouble in the future!" Zesi said with a smile.
"Feiluo, I'll leave these people to you and Shadow Wings. Test the results of Shadow Wings' training during this time while you're at it. If the World Government dares make a move, you don't need to hold back either!"
"Understood!" Feiluo said, a hint of excitement in his eyes!
