Moegi frantically retrieved gauze from her storage scroll to wipe the blood off Hanabi's body. But the numerous wounds were far too many to stop.
She looked around and saw that Konohamaru and Udon were also lying on the ground, their bodies cut open by wind blades, and the bones were even faintly visible.
Moegi had no idea what to do. Although their teacher had taught them Medical Ninjutsu before, such advanced Medical Ninjutsu couldn't be learned in a short period of time.
Suddenly, her eyes lit up, and she called out to those around her, "Teacher, teacher!"
Shinsei emerged from behind a large tree, looked at his four disciples, and frowned as he said:
"You've completely disgraced me. My teacher is Tsunade, yet my students don't even know basic Medical Ninjutsu."
The four students all looked ashamed. It wasn't that their teacher hadn't taught them Medical Ninjutsu; it was just that they lacked the talent and hadn't learned it.
The beautiful woman sat on the ground, looking at the black-haired boy in front of her with fear in her eyes.
Shinsei ignored the woman and walked over to his disciples.
"Sigh, I'm just a clone. As for Medical Ninjutsu, I do know it, but with so many of you injured, by the time I save one or two, the others will probably be dead already."
Udon's face fell; his teacher's words brought tears to his eyes. Of his teacher's four disciples, he was the least noticeable.
If someone absolutely had to be sacrificed, he would have said it himself without the teacher even having to bring it up—he hoped that he himself would be the one to die.
"Teacher, please save them first. My injuries aren't serious; it doesn't matter if I die. They are all more useful than me."
Shinsei glanced at Udon with some surprise. Although ninjas always emphasize bonds, not many can truly achieve them.
Unexpectedly, this previously unknown junior disciple possessed the awareness to sacrifice himself for the sake of others.
Upon hearing Udon's words, Konohamaru anxiously replied:
"Shut up! I'm the boss! You have to listen to me. Save them first, Master. It doesn't matter if I sacrifice myself! I'm the Hokage's grandson. Sacrificing myself to protect everyone is my ninja way!"
With the two disciples taking the lead, Moegi and Hanabi also spoke up, urging Shinsei to save others first.
"Hahaha!" Shinsei laughed, "I didn't expect you all to have such awareness."
Although their strength was somewhat weak, their character meant they didn't truly embarrass me.
But aren't you underestimating your teacher? If this little injury causes one or two of my disciples to die, I'll be laughed at to death in the Shinobi World.
Although I am only an avatar and cannot save you all, I still have my main body!
Shinsei finished speaking with a smile, then Hand Seals and instantly disappeared from the spot.
A second or two later, two Shinsei appeared in the open space. The other Shinsei was holding a document. He quickly glanced around and frowned when he saw four disciples lying on the ground, covered in wounds.
" Sharingan, activate!" A blue Mangekyō Sharingan instantly appeared in Shinsei's eyes. " Yomi-tsu!"
Hanabi felt the pain in her body suddenly disappear, and the weakness vanished, replaced by a feeling of boundless energy as if she had never been injured.
She sat up, looking left and right, and found that all the wounds on her body had disappeared. Only the clothes cut by the wind blades and the blood on the ground reminded her that her injuries were not an illusion.
The other three disciples also got up from the ground and examined their wounds. But no matter how they looked at them, they couldn't find a single trace of injury on their otherwise intact bodies.
"Teacher, you're amazing!" Hanabi jumped up and pounced on Shinsei.
Shinsei extended a finger and pressed it against Hanabi's forehead, pushing her away from him.
"You guys are too weak! Honestly, four of you against one, and you're acting like you're about to die. Looks like we'll have to double your training next time."
Upon hearing this, Hanabi tugged at Shinsei's sleeve and pleaded, "No! Teacher!" Shinsei rolled his eyes at her. "No discussion!"
Shinsei bit his finger and pressed it to the ground. A puff of smoke dissipated, and a Katsuyu as tall as a person appeared on the ground.
" Lord Shinsei! It's been so long since you summoned me." The Katsuyu waved its antennae and greeted me sweetly.
"That's why I summoned you, Katsuyu. Help me fetch the Summoning Scroll."
"No problem. Are you going to have these disciples sign Summoning Contract?"
"Yes, you can chat with them whenever you're bored."
"Okay, okay!" The Katsuyu looked left and right, then nodded to the disciples of Shinsei. "I am the Katsuyu. Please guide me in the future."
The Katsuyu split off into a smaller Katsuyu, which vanished as smoke. When it reappeared, the smaller Katsuyu spat out a scroll.
Shinsei beckoned to his disciples. "Don't waste your blood, come here and put your handprints here."
The four disciples touched the blood they had shed on the ground, then signed their names and pressed their fingerprints onto the Summoning Scroll.
Hanabi curiously examined the Katsuyu. She already knew that her sister could summon Katsuyu, which were very powerful summoned creatures.
"Next time you get injured, you can let the Katsuyu help treat your wounds."
The Katsuyu split into four smaller Katsuyu, which climbed onto Shinsei's four disciples and started chatting with them.
The Katsuyu stays in the Shikkotsu Forest and looks quiet and gentle, but if you talk to it, it can keep you company for a whole day.
The Shadow Clone and Shinsei exchanged a smile, then the Shadow Clone disappeared, leaving Shinsei with many new memories.
The opportunity to injure his disciples had finally arrived. Shinsei wondered if his thoughts were considered dark. He could have taught them the Summoning Technique much earlier, but he deliberately chose to injure them before doing so.
The world has now become more stable, and it is unlikely that major wars will break out between villages again.
These recent graduates did not have the opportunity to experience particularly harsh environments, so at the same age, they were difficult to compare with ninjas from the war years.
Therefore, if there are no conditions, we can only create them.
Shinsei looked at the woman who had been pretending to be invisible. "So, can you tell me your name?"
The woman looked up at the handsome Shinsei before her and respectfully replied, "My name is Onihime."
"What is your background?"
"I used to be a Root ninja in Konoha, Danzo's Danzo, and I was always out gathering intelligence."
So she was Danzo's former Danzo? No wonder she possessed strength approaching that of Jonin, yet I knew nothing about her.
No wonder, he was clearly very strong, yet he was defeated by a bunch of kids; it was obviously due to a lack of combat experience. If he were an intelligence gatherer, it would make sense.
"Why are you here? Why aren't you going back to Konoha?" Shinsei continued to ask.
The woman replied respectfully, "Because Danzo betrayed us, using us as a price to exchange for information. I do not wish to return to Konoha."
"So that's how it is. Now we have a legitimate reason to betray Konoha. If I were Danzo's Danzo, I would have made the same choice. So, is there anything else you want to say?"
The woman shook her head.
Shinsei smiled, made a hand Hand Seals with his left hand, and his body disappeared in an instant, then reappeared in an instant. In his right hand, there was a man covered in bandages and with a pale face.
Amid the man's astonished gaze, Shinsei asked the woman:
"So how do you explain this man?"
