Madara Uchiha could hardly describe the bliss in his eyes at that moment.
It's like being in the desert, feeling the scorching heat, and then suddenly jumping into an icy lake.
This inner satisfaction made him hum softly. This feeling was incomparable to the one he had experienced when he awakened his Mangekyō.
These deities are truly the best food for the eyes.
If I kill them all, will I gain many strange abilities?
Hahahaha!
Madara Uchiha on his hips and burst into laughter.
Oh, and there's one more!
He opened his Rinnegan and quickly surveyed the battlefield. Takemikazuchi-no-Kami stood three miles away, his face a mixture of pain and fear.
Shinsei- chan, you haven't killed this god yet?
Controlling lightning seems like a pretty good ability. Well then, I'll take it without hesitation.
What is Shinsei doing? Madara Uchiha turned around and saw Shinsei standing on a huge blue stone, reaching out to the white light sticking out of the stone.
Kusanagi Sword!
Damn it! Madara Uchiha was furious. He had actually overlooked this divine weapon. A weapon that could easily shatter his Susanoo was quite rare.
Now it won't be so easy to seize that divine artifact. Shinsei, putting everything else aside, his speed is even faster than mine.
Shinsei stretched out his right hand, grabbed the white hilt of the sword, and gently pulled it out. The cracked white light instantly illuminated the entire battlefield.
The Kusanagi Sword, that's a legendary divine weapon, also known as the Ame -Ame-no-Murakumo Sword.
Shinsei had just witnessed the power of this divine weapon. Even his own Ninjutsu couldn't compare to it.
This is no longer a simple physical or Ninjutsu effect, but rather a kind of natural authority, like that of the gods.
Just after Madara Uchiha killed Susanoo, Shinsei closely monitored the whereabouts of this divine weapon.
As soon as the divine weapon fell off, he came here immediately and retrieved it. Now, his wish has indeed come true.
As for Takemikazuchi-no-Kami over there, Shinsei wasn't in a hurry.
With his incredible speed, even if Shinsei used the Flying Thunder God, he wouldn't be able to kill him in a short time. Not to mention Madara Uchiha, whose speed is even lower than his own.
The white light of the Kusanagi Sword danced in Shinsei's hand, causing a faint stinging sensation in Shinsei palm.
This kind of divine artifact, composed purely of Natural Energy, is not something that just anyone can withstand.
If Shinsei hadn't used Senjutsu Chakra to envelop the hilt of the sword, his hand would probably have been reduced to bone by the Shinsei's sharpness.
The Kusanagi Sword trembled incessantly in Shinsei's hand, seemingly trying to break free from Shinsei control. Shinsei then channeled Senjutsu Chakra into it.
The Kusanagi Sword accepted all of Shinsei's Chakra without exception, absorbing it all without any change. It seemed to be resisting Shinsei's control.
Hehe, once it's in my hands, you have no say in it.
However, there's no time to deal with this amazing weapon right now.
He Hand Seals with one hand, and dense black runes surged from his left hand, pressing onto the blade of the Kusanagi Sword.
Black sealing runes quickly enveloped the Kusanagi Sword, completely covering the white light. Finally, it transformed into a black sphere and fell into the palm of the left hand.
With everything settled, Shinsei breathed a sigh of relief and turned to look at the situation on the battlefield.
Madara Uchiha looked somewhat excited. He leaped into the air and raced towards Takemikazuchi-no-Kami in the distance.
When Madara chased after him, Shinsei didn't immediately follow.
His gaze followed Ban's retreating figure, his brows furrowing deeper and deeper.
Madara's speed had noticeably increased, and he seemed somewhat anxious. Shinsei, naturally unwilling to let Madara Uchiha possess Takemikazuchi-no-Kami's power alone again, was about to catch up quickly.
" Shinsei." Kaguya had appeared beside him unnoticed, her eyes fixed on the direction Madara had disappeared. "Something's wrong with him. His eyes are hungry."
Shinsei turned his head to the side. Kaguya's voice was very soft, but there was no fear on her face, only a clear-headedness like that of someone seeing danger in the presence of another of their kind.
Something was definitely not right, Shinsei, watching Madara Uchiha's constantly leaping figure.
The more I looked at it, the more something seemed off. Although Madara Uchiha had always had this manic personality.
However, having reached such a level of strength, he clearly couldn't control his emotions.
Be careful.
Kaguya couldn't pinpoint what was wrong either, but as usual, she gave Shinsei a reminder.
Shinsei didn't speak. Of course he understood. It was the same as when he ate Kagutsuchi-no-Mikoto, only he was more restrained.
Unlike him, Madara didn't feel the need to suppress his hunger. He even enjoyed it.
"Follow them and see."
Kaguya nodded. Shinsei didn't use Flying Thunder God to chase him; instead, he used flames and Storm Release Chakra to move at high speed close to the ground.
Kaguya flew beside him. The two maintained a distance of several hundred meters from Madara at all times, ensuring they could provide support at any time.
Shinsei deliberately stayed away. He needed to see clearly what state Madara was in right now.
Is it clarity, or has something changed?
Takemikazuchi-no-Kami was still on the run, his breathing erratic. Each rise and fall of his chest wound felt like someone pressing a branding iron down on him.
He had never run like this before. In the past, when he chased people, he was as fast as lightning and could catch up with anything.
But he felt that he was so far away from Takamagahara.
It was promised that a god would support him and Susanoo. But now Susanoo is dead, killed beneath the giant thousand-armed Wood Golem that is thousands of meters tall.
With such a massive Senjutsu, Takemikazuchi-no-Kami wondered what Takamagahara could possibly use to withstand it, or God Amaterasu's black flames could incinerate it?
The more Takemikazuchi-no-Kami thought about it, the more confused he became. He had only one thought in mind: to get back to Takamagahara as quickly as possible. Faster, faster.
Once he entered Takamagahara, everything would be fine. Whether Takamagahara could actually withstand these two strange outsiders was no longer a concern for him.
As long as I can survive, nothing else matters.
Takamagahara glowed on the horizon. It was that familiar white, like a divine kingdom rising from a sea of clouds.
The peculiar immortal Shinsei, did not use his strange spatial abilities to chase after him. This gave Takemikazuchi-no-Kami a slight sense of relief.
The demeanor and majesty of gods are no longer important.
He only wanted to return to Takamagahara and survive with the help of the gods. He ran desperately toward the light, propelled forward only by the lightning.
The sea of clouds churned beneath his feet, and the Heavenly Gate lay before him. He could even see the thin layer of divine light behind the gate, as quiet as ever.
He crashed headlong into the wall of light.
Bang!
It was like hitting an invisible wall. Natural Energy bounced back from all around his body, sending him flying backward. He was stunned for a moment, his head spinning. Without thinking, he got up and rushed towards the light again.
Bang!
The dense wall of light sent him flying again.
This time, he saw it clearly. Outside the Heavenly Gate, there was an extremely thick layer of Natural Energy, like a transparent wall of water, Fudo.
He rammed into the wall, but it didn't even shake. Still not believing it, he charged a third time, then a fourth.
Each time he was bounced back, each time harder than the last. The enormous, boundless wall of light made even a god like him appear insignificant.
"Why won't you Gate of Opening?!" His voice trembled, as if he were holding a lump of rubbish in his throat. "I am Takemikazuchi-no-Kami! I am the Thunder God of Takamagahara! Amaterasu! Lady Kukurihime! Omoikane! Are you inside?! Gate of Opening!"
No one answered him.
The Heavenly Gate floated there, its white light as still as if no one had ever been there. He slowly took two steps back, looking up at the gate he had never given a second glance before.
Unable to maintain his divine majesty any longer, Takemikazuchi-no-Kami roared angrily at Takamagahara, which was within the wall of light.
"You all knew all along, didn't you?" he whispered, as if questioning the heavens, or perhaps himself. "You sent me to the God Tree expecting me to die. You deliberately didn't Gate of Opening because I shouldn't have gone back in the first place."
He stood beneath the enormous wall of light, the lightning on his body almost completely dissipated.
Shinsei and Kaguya stopped in the distance.
Madara Uchiha looked at the disheveled and broken figure outside the wall of light and couldn't help but burst into wild laughter.
Hahahaha!
