As soon as they arrived at Minato's house, the door was opened from the inside out.
A beautiful woman with fiery red hair and a green dress appeared before Kōki, holding the doorknob.
Upon seeing Kōki at her doorstep, the woman exclaimed with delight, "Oh, it's Kōki! No wonder you were making such a fuss. Are you here to see Minato? Come in quickly!"
As she spoke, she grabbed Kōki's hand and pulled him into the house.
This enthusiasm made Kōki feel extremely uncomfortable. He didn't recall ever having such a good relationship with Kushina; at most, he had only learned a few Sealing Jutsu from her. Was she really that familiar with him?
But he couldn't easily refuse, since they were being so hospitable; he couldn't very well turn down a cold shoulder.
And so, Kōki was pulled into the house by Kushina.
Upon entering Minato's house, one sees Minato having removed his divine robes and sitting in a chair, engrossed in reading a novel called "The Tale of the Tale of the Utterly Gutsy Shinobi ".
This novel was written by Jiraiya, and the name of the future Child of Destiny is derived from it.
"Hello, Kōki!" After seeing Kōki being pulled into the house by Kushina, Minato greeted Kōki with a smile and then asked, "What brings you here so late?"
" Minato- senpai, I did come to see you about something." Upon hearing Minato's question, Kōki, disregarding the fact that Kushina was still holding him back, answered earnestly.
"And it's related to Senior Lin."
"It's related to Rin? What's related to Rin?" Before Minato could reply, Kushina, who was next to Kōki, asked curiously.
Kushina was confused. What could possibly be related to Rin? Could it be that something was amiss with the Three-Tails within Rin's body?
But that doesn't make sense. After she personally performed the Uzumaki Clan Sealing Jutsu, the Tailed Beast shouldn't have any problems at all.
Just before that, the Konoha leadership believed that there might be a loophole in the seal placed on Rin's body containing the Three-Tails Tailed Beast the battlefield. For safety reasons, they invited Kushina, the current Nine-Tails Jinchuriki and the only sealing master of the Uzumaki Clan, to reinforce the seal on Rin's body.
It was then that she learned that Minato's only female disciple Rin Nohara, had also become Jinchūriki, which filled her with pity.
Afterwards, as if they were bound by a shared fate, in order to ensure that the Three-Tails would not affect Rin, she added several more layers of Sealing Jutsu and even taught Rin some of her own exclusive Sealing Jutsu.
So, logically speaking, Lin shouldn't have any problems.
Minato, however, realized that Kōki was using Rin's issue to talk about other people. He immediately understood. "I get it, let's go outside and talk."
After saying that, he put down the novel he was holding, stood up, and looked at Kushina apologetically, "Sorry, Kushina. I need to discuss some things with Kōki. I have to go out for a bit."
Kushina looked regretful. It was a rare occasion for Kōki to come over, and she hadn't even had a chance to entertain him yet, and now he was leaving with his man.
It was a pity, but she was also a sensible woman. Although she didn't know what confidential matters Minato and Kōki were going to discuss, she was now the Hokage's wife and knew that some things were beyond her control. She nodded and said, "Okay, go ahead then, and remember to come back early."
After saying goodbye to Kushina, Kōki took Minato to a ninja training ground.
The training ground was deserted at this time of day; so quiet that you could hear the chirping of insects in the nearby woods.
Suddenly, a distortion appeared in the void above the training ground, with ripples constantly emerging from a Uzumaki.
The next second, a figure with Uzumaki- like face appeared instantly.
" Minato-sensei, it's been a long time." Obito removed his mask and greeted his teacher.
" Obito, it's been a long time. I was so happy when Kōki told me you were still alive." Looking at Obito's newly appeared appearance, Minato said with satisfaction, "You've really grown a lot."
He really worried a lot about Obito, his disciple.
It's strange, even though Kakashi and Rin are both better than him, he admires Obito the most.
It wasn't because of his ninja skills, but because he saw the true Will of Fire in Obito.
Obito of the Uchiha Clan, Obito lacked the arrogant personality typical of the Uchiha Clan. He was extremely polite and often willing to help others. Although he was somewhat impulsive, this could not overshadow his dazzling virtues.
That's why he had high hopes for Obito. He was heartbroken when he heard the news of Obito's death in the Battle of Iwagakure.
After Kōki told him the truth, he was able to calm down, but he was still worried about Obito's situation.
Now that he saw Obito standing before him, healthy and well, he finally felt relieved.
"Thank you for your concern, Minato-sensei."
Faced with Minato's praise, Obito nodded calmly, but a feeling of gratitude welled up inside him.
The feeling that someone cared about him stirred his emotions, leaving him unable to calm down.
At this moment, he finally understood why his precognitive self in the dream woke up at the end—it was because of the power of bonds.
But no matter how moved we are, we must get down to business first. Without resolving the business, being moved is meaningless.
Therefore, Kōki directly interrupted the atmosphere of the two reminiscing.
"Senior Minato, I've called you here today to discuss how to make Senior Rin disappear from the enemy's sight."
I've discussed it with Obito -senpai, and the best thing to do is for Rin-senpai to fake her death, but we need your permission to do so.
Another issue is how to fake her death. After all, Rin-senpai is mostly staying in Konoha and is Jinchūriki, so it's unlikely she'll encounter any other threats. Therefore, arranging an accident isn't an easy task.
After listening to Kōki's words, Minato nodded and frowned. This was indeed a problem that needed to be solved.
Rin is crucial to Obito's infiltration plan and absolutely cannot be allowed to go wrong. Besides, Rin is his student, and as his teacher, he has a duty to protect her.
But what should they do? Minato was also at a loss. Suddenly, he noticed that Kōki's calm expression seemed to say something, so he asked, " Kōki, do you have any ideas? If you do, tell me, and we can discuss it together."
Upon hearing Minato's question, Obito also turned his gaze to Kōki, hoping that Kōki could offer some solutions.
Seeing that both of them were looking at him, Kōki hesitated for a moment. His plan was rather extreme, but he still said, "We'll create a disaster, like releasing Tailed Beast. Then we'll have Rin fake her death during the Tailed Beast rampage."
This plan was undoubtedly very effective, but it was immediately rejected by Minato as soon as it was proposed.
"No, this plan is too dangerous. As Hokage, I cannot allow Konoha to be threatened in any way. Besides, even if I agreed to this plan, where would the Tailed Beast come from? We can't just say we'd capture them from other ninja villages; that would easily start a war. So I disagree with this plan."
As the Hokage, protecting Konoha is his responsibility; this plan is too dangerous and cannot be implemented at all.
