Nan Jing suddenly woke up.
She looked around, recalled the last scene before she lost consciousness, and anxiously asked, "Mr. Ji Xun, where's Sister Chu Jiu?"

Anxiousness welled up in Nan Jing's heart, and her eyes trembled. "But..."
Though she was a little slow to react, she understood why Sister Chu Jiu had gone out alone after giving it some thought.
She was afraid of dragging Nan Jing down with her.
Ji Xun had no intention of saying more. He had said everything that needed to be said. Rising to his feet, he said, "Since you're awake, we should get ready to leave too."
Sister Chu Jiu had gone out ahead of them. At the very least, the people targeting her should no longer be outside.
