Those two young Auror have undoubtedly already engaged the Werewolf.
Morris stroked his chin, hesitating whether to go over and lend a hand.
Logically speaking, since the Auror were here and had received advance notice, they must have made corresponding preparations to deal with the Werewolf, and it was not his place to worry about it as an ordinary citizen.
But isn't that a bit too much wolf howling?
He roughly estimated that at least seven or eight Werewolf were howling at the same time.
That number is unlikely.
After thinking about it, Morris decided to go and take a look.
Consider it a good deed.
This was the first time in several years that he had encountered such a novel scene in Knockturn Alley.
In the past, these were all minor skirmishes—a few dark wizards fighting, or a thief being chased all over the street.
Morris walked down the dark alley.
He had just reached the entrance when two dark figures rushed past him.
It was those two Auror from earlier.
They stopped abruptly when they noticed Morris.
The male Auror's face was covered in blood, one eye was covered in blood, and he could only stare at Morris with the other eye.
"What are you still doing here!" he roared.
The female Auror was in good condition, with no obvious injuries.
"Don't worry," Morris shrugged. "I'm here to help you, aren't I?"
He had a vague premonition that something was going to happen to those two Auror.
That's exactly right.
"Run!" the female Auror shouted, turning around. "Behind us!"
Before the words were finished, a series of heavy, rapid footsteps echoed through the alley.
In the blink of an eye, two more figures rushed out of the darkness.
Morris looked up.
Unsurprisingly, they were two Werewolf.
The Werewolf before them had thick, strong limbs and looked completely different from Lupin.
Compared to them, Lupin looked almost malnourished.
Meanwhile, howls continued to echo from inside the alley, and it sounded like there were quite a few accomplices among them.
The two Auror reacted quickly, immediately waving their wands, shouting, " Impedimenta!"
The Impediment Jinx hit successfully.
But the Werewolf only paused slightly, stumbled a few steps, quickly regained its balance, and then, as if enraged, charged again.
Once a wizard transforms into Werewolf, he will develop an intense urge to attack humans.
These two have clearly lost their minds completely.
Just as Morris was about to show off, the male Auror suddenly grabbed his shoulder.
The next second, a violent pulling sensation surged from all directions—the Impediment Jinx had bought them time to release Apparition.
Morris did not resist.
So the question is, why didn't these two use Apparition from the start?
The three of them vanished into thin air, and when they reappeared, they were in a dimly lit small room.
Morris looked around and found that he was in a place that was about as dilapidated as the Shrieking Shack, while faint howls could still be heard coming from outside the window.
They should be in a house somewhere in Knockturn Alley right now.
The male Auror, panting heavily, plopped down on the ground.
" Sean!"
The female Auror quickly went over to bandage him.
Morris finally learned the man's name.
Although the Auror Sean was covered in blood, his injuries were not actually serious.
"It's just a minor scrape," he waved his hand and said. "I wasn't bitten by those beasts."
After he had quickly treated his wounds, Morris said, "Since you're all alright, I'll be going now."
He probably underestimated the Auror.
Judging from the current situation, they don't need him to worry about them.
"There are Werewolf outside," Sean quickly stepped in front of Morris and said gently, "Stay here for now, Black. I've already notified the department, and backup will be here soon. It won't take long, just a few minutes. After I explain the situation, I'll take you back to Diagon Alley."
Morris wouldn't mind running into those Werewolf.
Although there are many, he should be able to handle them.
If all else fails, you can escape using teleportation.
However, since that's what they said...
"Alright," Morris said, casually finding a chair with a chipped cushion in the corner and sitting down.
The chair creaked, as if it were about to fall apart at any moment.
Sean leaned against the wall, closed his eyes, and took a breath. "It'll probably be another two minutes before backup arrives."
He paused, a hint of worry in his voice, "I hope those beasts didn't hurt anyone."
The Ministry of Magic receives reports of Werewolf attacks every few days.
Most are accidents, but a small number are intentional, like tonight's incident.
However, these incidents usually occur in remote villages or towns.
In places like Knockturn Alley, Werewolf are rarely seen—some dark wizards here are far more dangerous than Werewolf.
A few years ago, a Werewolf caused trouble here as well.
Later I heard that it became experimental material for some dark wizard...
Two minutes didn't last long; Morris did nothing but lean back in his chair and Meditation.
Suddenly.
"Bang!"
There was a knock on the door.
Sean looked up alertly.
Morris glanced at him sideways. "Your colleague has arrived?"
Sean didn't say anything, but put his index finger to his lips in a "shh" gesture.
Then he tiptoed, gripped his wand again, and quietly walked to the window next to him, glancing outside.
He breathed a sigh of relief and opened the door.
A tall, dark-skinned man walked in; he was bald— Morris couldn't make out any more details in the darkness.
" Mr. Shacklebolt," Sean asked doubtfully, "Are you alone?"
The man Shacklebolt nodded slowly and said calmly, "We received your message. Scrimgeour only sent me because everyone else has missions."
"That's terrible." Sean's face turned grim.
Clearly, no one expected so many Werewolf to appear in Knockturn Alley tonight.
Without enough manpower, those out-of-control Werewolf cannot be controlled.
The man's gaze swept across the room, noticing Morris in the corner.
"Who is that?" he asked.
Sean followed his gaze and replied, "Just a passerby. We were attacked by Werewolf together, so we brought him along."
Morris looked at the other person and casually said, "I am Morris Black."
" Kingsley Shacklebolt, as you can see, is Auror." After saying this, Kingsley turned to Sean and asked, "How many Werewolf are there in this area?"
"Aww~"
A wolf howl suddenly rang out, very close by.
Sean sighed.
"Let's retreat," he said. "We can't handle a dozen or so crazed Werewolf with just a few of us... Damn it, I just hope nobody runs into them tonight."
Kingsley remained unfazed upon hearing the number.
He looked at Morris, his tone calm and collected. "I'll take you home first, Black. Where do you live?"
I don't need it.
Before Morris could finish speaking, a series of heavy and disordered footsteps came from outside the door.
Immediately afterwards.
With a ripping sound.
It was the sound of sharp claws scraping against the door panel.
