Lucius Malfoy?

After seeing the other person's face clearly, Morris wasn't very surprised.

He had just felt that the other person's tone of voice was somewhat familiar.

As expected.

" Mr. Malfoy?" Morris said. "What a coincidence."

"Loosen the rope," Lucius said, struggling to suppress his anger, "If you don't want trouble."

"Ha, a threat." Morris's tone held a hint of amusement. "I like threats. But who do you think you can scare with your weak words?"

Lucius's face turned ashen.

When had he ever been insulted like this?

"Mind your own business. Leave now, and I can pretend tonight never happened," Lucius said through gritted teeth.

"Yeah?"

Seeing that the other party remained defiant, Morris narrowed his eyes, summoned a bone spike, and pressed it against the other party's neck. "Do you think anyone will notice if I kill you in this desolate place and then burn your body?"

Lucius shuddered, feeling a sharp pain in his neck as warm liquid trickled down it.

The tip of the bone spur had already pierced his skin and was slowly going deeper.

He wanted to say, "You wouldn't dare," but what came out was something else entirely. "You win, Black. Now, tell me, what do you want?"

That's more like it.

Morris waved his hand, and the bone spike left the other man's neck, falling into his hand, its tip still dripping blood.

At the same time, he drew his wand and pointed it at Lucius's wound, stopping the bleeding—even a wizard can die from excessive blood loss.

After doing all this, he sat down cross-legged and asked, "So please tell me, Mr. Malfoy, what brings you here tonight?"

Lucius was about to speak.

"Bang!"

A blinding green light exploded in the distant night sky, like Yanhua.

Immediately afterwards, a pattern appeared in the sky.

It was a huge green skull, with a python in its mouth... uh, no, the python was crawling out of its mouth.

Dark Mark.

Voldemort's signature mark.

Morris recognized the design, but he still thought Voldemort's aesthetic sense was really terrible.

The skull is quite beautiful, but adding a snake immediately makes it look incongruous.

" Mr. Malfoy," Morris said knowingly, "Is this your purpose today? To announce Voldemort's return? Wait, has Voldemort been resurrected?"

"I know nothing," Lucius said, his face pale. "I was coerced."

Morris sighed.

That's not very convincing.

If claiming "being coerced" can absolve oneself of any responsibility, then what's the point of having him?

"Let me go," Lucius continued. "I can give you anything you need. We have no grudge against each other."

Morris looked at him and smiled.

"You burned my friend's tent," he said. "Just now, those men you brought threw several Fire-Making Spell at my friend's tent, almost destroying it completely. I know you were in charge; you've been giving the orders all along."

If it weren't for his and Kyle's caution, an ordinary wizard might have been burned to death long ago.

"I can compensate for the damage to the tent," Lucius said calmly.

"Compensation?" Morris's lips curled into a slight smile. "Of course, including the cost of the tent, and compensation for emotional distress. How about 20,000 Galleon?"

Lucius's face twitched.

This number is completely unreasonable; it's clearly telling him—I'm playing you.

"How about this," Morris changed the subject, "Help me test a spell, and I'll let you go. We'll call it even about the tent, and I won't tell anyone about tonight's events. How about it?"

"What kind of magic?" Lucius suddenly had a bad feeling.

"Don't be nervous, I'll begin." Morris pulled the Death Energy Crystal from his pocket, held it in his hand, and then slowly extended his other hand to Lucius.

" Pain Curse!"

A gray mist drifted toward Lucius.

This is not a simple Pain Curse; it contains extremely subtle Death Energy.

Morris is trying to harness this energy.

Or rather, he was imitating the curse that " Death " had cast upon him.

Having experienced it firsthand, he felt that he might be able to replicate a similar effect.

Fortunately, there was a ready-made test subject right in front of them.

The gray mist seeped into Lucius's body.

"Ah"

Lucius began to wail in agony.

"You—what did you do to me—" His voice completely changed as he struggled to say, "No—stop—please—I'll do anything, stop!" Morris watched him coldly.

He could feel the other person's life force beginning to drain away, just like he had been back then.

But the pain seemed much more intense.

"I am a vengeful man, Mr. Malfoy," Morris said calmly. "Remember what I'm about to say. This is just a lesson for you. If there's a next time, you'd better kill me outright, or I'll send you to Merlin. I'm not joking."

"Yes, yes—" Lucius said haltingly, "Stop—please—I can't take it anymore—"

The veins on his forehead bulged, and he was now drenched in sweat, completely devoid of his usual pretentious demeanor.

Morris glanced up at the Dark Mark in the sky and said calmly, "Thirty seconds left. I'll remove it for you after that."

Those thirty seconds will likely become Lucius's nightmare.

Haha, that's exactly the effect he wanted.

Who is it?!

Suddenly, a sharp shout came from behind him, accompanied by chaotic footsteps and the glow of Lumos Charm.

They're probably from the Ministry of Magic.

Morris conjured a bone mask and turned to face the direction of the approaching person.

But in that very instant...

"Smack!"

A sharp crack suddenly rang out.

Morris turned around and found that Lucius had disappeared.

He then realized he had forgotten to take away the other man's wand; Lucius's hands were tied behind his back, and he could very well have teleported away through some subtle movement.

Morris felt somewhat helpless.

It wasn't because Lucius ran away, but rather—

He hasn't lifted the curse on Lucius yet!

If he hadn't taken the initiative to lift it, that particular Pain Curse could have lasted for several days, or even a week.

Well, I hope Mr. Malfoy can live a good life.

While he was thinking, the Auror had already walked up behind him.

Without further hesitation, Morris waved his wand and used Apparition.

When he reappeared, he had already returned to his previous camp.

Kyle was squatting in that open space.

His eyes lit up immediately when he saw Morris.

" Morris, thank God you're alright!" He ran over and asked, "Did they catch those guys?"

"We caught one," Morris said. "It's done, and the other side got what they deserved."

Kyle breathed a sigh of relief. "Then you must tell me the details..."
