"Let's go get breakfast," Kyle said lazily.

The two walked out of the common lounge and down the spiral staircase.

The rain from yesterday hasn't stopped yet, bringing a touch of coolness to Hogwarts this morning.

"By the way, Morris," Kyle suddenly changed his tone, sounding much more serious than before, "Have you thought about what will happen after graduation?"

"Graduation?" Morris turned his head to look at him, somewhat surprised. "Why are you suddenly asking this?"

"It's nothing," Kyle shrugged, his gaze casually sweeping over a group of armored men saluting them on his right. "My dad wants me to work for his company after graduation; he's got everything arranged for me."

"I think this is a good thing," Morris said sincerely.

"Yes, it's a good thing." Kyle sighed, saying wistfully, "But don't you feel that this seems too ordinary, not quite... the future I want?"

Morris glanced at him, giving him a strange look.

Is this the trouble that comes with being a rich kid?

He sighed silently to himself, but didn't say it aloud.

And to be honest, he couldn't offer any good advice either.

"And what about you, Morris?" Kyle turned to look at him, his expression serious. "Have you thought about what you're going to do next?"

Morris didn't hesitate, "Study magic."

"And then?" Kyle asked again.

"Magic has no limits, Kyle," Morris replied immediately. "The beginning, the present, and the future of magic are all unknown. Do you understand what I mean?"

Kyle shook his head. "I think I get it. You're just a research fanatic."

"I can't deny it." Morris smiled slightly.

"So, what's the specifics?" Kyle pressed, "Will you get a job after graduation?"

"I remember mentioning that," Morris said, "That I would probably first travel around the world to study the magical systems of various places."

There were many things he wanted to figure out, such as the Book of the Mage that had suddenly appeared in his mind.

"A round-the-world trip?" Kyle's eyes lit up. "Where do you most want to go?"

" Asia."

"Count me in then." Kyle almost without hesitation.

"I welcome it."

As the two were chatting, a figure strode out from the adjacent corridor without looking where he was going and nearly bumped into Kyle.

Kyle stepped aside, frowning. "You... Malfoy?"

It was Draco Malfoy who rushed out.

His robe was visibly covered in dust, as if he had crawled out of some warehouse.

He looked somewhat disheveled and tired.

In addition, his expression also showed a hint of panic.

"What happened?" Kyle asked instinctively.

However, Draco didn't stop because of Kyle's words, nor did he even glance at them. He quickly walked past the two of them with his head down.

Only after his figure had completely disappeared did Kyle turn his gaze away, asking with a puzzled expression, "What happened to him?"

Morris waved his hand. "Who knows? I don't care anyway."

What happened to Draco Malfoy was none of his business. He had his own things to do, like enjoying a perfect breakfast.

Morris immediately set off again towards the restaurant.

"I'm quite concerned," Kyle frowned. "Hey! Wait for me!"

He caught up, still babbling on, "Don't you find it strange? He didn't come from the direction of the Slytherin Common Room, he should have come from the main building. At this time... ah, he looks exhausted, maybe he hasn't slept all night... Morris, Morris? Are you even listening to me?"

Kyle seemed unusually talkative today.

Morris replied casually, "Why don't you go ask him yourself? Maybe he'll be in a good mood and willing to tell you."

Kyle chuckled. "He won't pay any attention to me."

Going out at night on the first day of the new semester is indeed a strange behavior.

The Great Hall was bustling with activity as always during breakfast time.

Owls circled overhead, occasionally dropping letters and packages.

There are always an unusually large number of owls in the first few days of the new semester.

Morris was eating a piece of toast when Kyle nudged his arm and whispered, "Watch Malfoy."

From the beginning, Kyle had been intentionally or unintentionally glancing toward the Slytherin table.

He was clearly still concerned about Draco's abnormal condition.

Morris looked at Draco and noticed that the man's robes had been changed and his face was cleaned of dust, making him look no different than usual. He was staring out the window, lost in thought.

" Malfoy is Prefect now," Kyle shook his head, his tone subtle, "For Prefect to go out at night on his first day is really unbecoming."

"Is Malfoy out for a night stroll?"

A voice came from behind.

Morris turned around and saw Ron, with Harry and Hermione behind him.

Ron strode forward and asked eagerly, "You're saying Malfoy is out at night?"

"Just suspicion, Ron," Kyle said calmly, poking at a fried egg with his fork. "I have no proof. It might be difficult if you want to report it."

"Tsk, what a pity."

Ron looked very disappointed, his chin slightly raised, and the Prefect Badge on his chest swayed with his movement.

Yes, Ron also became Prefect this year, which surprised Morris a little.

It's not that Ron is bad, it's just... well, Ron doesn't seem that good right now.

Hermione suddenly spoke up, "What are Malfoy doing out at night?"

Kyle shrugged. "Who knows?"

"Perhaps we could investigate," Harry suggested, rubbing his eyes.

Ron and Hermione both nodded in agreement.

"I'll pass," Morris said, taking a sip of Pumpkin Juice.

That's a bit troublesome.

After breakfast, Morris and Kyle headed towards the Dark Magic Defence Class classroom.

When they reached the classroom door, they found that the sign above it had been changed to " Professor Umbridge," with the Ministry of Magic emblem next to it.

Kyle stared at the doorplate and said in a low voice, "She seems to think this place is her territory."

"Let's see how it goes."

Morris spoke, he pushed open the door and went inside.

There weren't many changes in the classroom, except for a large notice board on the far left wall, where many students were gathered and discussing it.

Morris walked closer and took a look.

The document lists a series of complicated requirements.

No whispering in class, no using wands without permission, no questioning the professor's decisions, no discussing non-course content in class, no being late...

I wrote nearly a dozen entries.

"I bet Umbridge isn't a good professor," Kyle said helplessly.
