Draco had barely left when footsteps echoed from the bottom of the stairs again.

Harry and Ron appeared one after the other in front of Morris.

" Morris!" Harry's eyes lit up when he saw him. "Have you seen Malfoy?"

"They went upstairs." Morris pointed upwards.

"Thanks, we're following him."

After leaving those words, Harry didn't linger and continued upstairs with Ron.

Just as Morris was about to turn and leave, Harry seemed to remember something, suddenly turned around and waved at him, "Come on, Morris, we need your help."

Morris initially wanted to refuse.

To be honest, he's not interested in what Draco Malfoy is doing—at least not right now.

But since Harry has already said so...

"Okay." Morris followed.

Anyway, he didn't have anything else he absolutely had to do, so there was no harm in going to take a look.

Although the chances are slim, who knows what interesting things might happen?

As they went upstairs, Morris asked, "Don't you use the Disillusionment Charm?"

Harry shook his head. "It's best not to. It'll be hard to explain if the professor sees us. Using magic in the hallway is against the rules."

"And that guy can't find us," Ron added confidently.

The three of them walked uphill in silence.

Upon reaching the Seventh Floor, Ron suddenly stopped and reached out to stop the two.

"Wait." He pointed to the corridor ahead. " Malfoy is coming this way."

Harry was a little surprised. "How did you know?"

"I just saw it from below," Ron said with a hint of smugness.

Morris frowned thoughtfully.

There aren't any particularly special rooms on the Seventh Floor of Hogwarts ' main castle, except...

Room of Requirement?

Did Draco discover this room as well?

In fact, since the invention of the Ship in a Bottle, he himself has rarely visited the Room of Requirement.

Perhaps during this time, someone else at Hogwarts discovered this magical room.

"Walk."

Harry turned into the corridor first, followed closely by Morris and Ron.

They walked along the corridor, but they didn't see Malfoy again until they reached the end.

Finally, the three stopped in front of the tapestry depicting the Troll beating Barnabas the Barmy.

Morris glanced at the opposite wall.

The entrance to the Room of Requirement is right there.

Of course, Harry and Ron were unaware of this news.

Harry stared at the tapestry behind him for a few seconds, then turned to Ron. " Ron, are you sure you're not on the wrong floor? Malfoy isn't here at all."

"Impossible." Ron frowned, his tone certain. "Or he's hiding in some classroom."

Morris didn't speak, pacing back and forth silently in front of the empty wall opposite the tapestry.

"What are you doing?" Ron asked, looking puzzled.

By this time, Morris had walked back and forth three times. Logically, the door to the Room of Requirement should have appeared on the wall, but it hadn't.

The reason is obvious: someone is already using the room.

The Room of Requirement can only fulfill one request at a time. If someone is inside, the door will not appear unless the second person wants the exact same room as the current user.

And the person inside is most likely Draco Malfoy.

" The Room of Requirement." Morris stopped and said calmly, " Malfoy is inside."

Harry and Ron looked at Morris, both completely bewildered.

Morris briefly explained the existence of the Room of Requirement to the two of them.

Ron was shocked after hearing this. "You mean, there's a room behind this wall? A room that can change according to the user's will? And Malfoy is in it?"

"That's it in short," Morris replied.

"You never mentioned this room to us, Morris." Harry stared at the wall, his tone complicated.

Morris shrugged and answered frankly, "I was using this room for some rather unethical things back then, and I felt it wasn't appropriate to tell anyone."

That's really inappropriate.

Harry and Ron exchanged a glance but neither of them asked any further questions.

To be fair, they might not tell their friends when they're doing something bad.

Morris continued, "I haven't used this room in a long time. What are you planning to do next? Wait here for Malfoy?"

Harry asked, "Are there any other entrances or exits to this room?"

"No," Morris shook his head decisively. " The Room of Requirement has only one entrance, which is this wall. If Malfoy wants to get out, he has to go through here."

"Then we'll stay here," Ron grinned mischievously. "Just imagine how panicked Malfoy will be when he comes out and sees us standing here. Besides, I also want to see what's inside this house."

Harry laughed too.

Morris asked, "Weren't you here to investigate Malfoy's strange behavior?"

"Yeah," Ron said matter-of-factly, "So we'll wait here for him to come out, grab him, and see what he's up to."

"I like your straightforward approach," Morris agreed.

However, he felt that Draco Malfoy might not be so easy to talk to.

"There's probably still about an hour before class," Harry said, leaning against the Tapestry of a Troll Clubbing Barnabas the Barmy. " Malfoy definitely has to be out before then. Slytherin's first period is Potions Class; he can't possibly skip it."

That will take a long time.

With nothing to do, Morris picked up a book and opened it.

"What are you looking at?" Harry asked curiously, leaning closer.

But to his surprise, the book in Morris's hand... was completely blank.

"What book is this?" Harry's voice was clearly filled with confusion.

"A book that requires a special method to read," Morris explained with a smile, "I wrote it myself, but it's not finished yet."

"Okay." Harry nodded, not quite understanding, but not asking any more questions.

Ten minutes later.

"I think it's a bit silly to just stand here like this," Ron suddenly said.

Morris handed over a small piece of chocolate cake on a plate. "Would you like something to eat?"

Ron froze, looking the cake up and down. "Why do you carry this with you? I mean, why did you take out the chocolate cake?"

"Replenishing sugar is very important," Morris said seriously. "If you don't like it, I also have strawberry flavored ones."

As if by magic, he produced a plate of cake in his other hand.

"Okay, thanks, Morris. The chocolate was for me."

Another twenty minutes passed.

Finally, the wall at the entrance to the Room of Requirement began to change.

An ordinary wooden door emerged from the wall, with a brass-colored handle that looked unremarkable.

Harry and Ron immediately perked up and fixed their gazes firmly on it.
