"Good child, come this way."
Morris reached out his hand, and the brand-new Skeleton Unicorn, upon receiving the command, immediately walked in front of him and lowered its head slightly.
The horn touched Morris's palm, bringing a cold, but not piercing, chill.
"How are you feeling?" Morris asked, stroking its head.
The Skeleton Unicorn let out a low growl of doubt.
Morris sighed and patted its horn. "Never mind, forget I asked."
It seems that, just like when the Skeleton Dog was at Tier 1, the Skeleton Unicorn also has limited intelligence and can only understand the simplest commands.
At that moment, the Guantou silently climbed onto the top of the Skeleton Unicorn's head, stretched out its claws towards the horn, and curiously poked at it a couple of times.
The Skeleton Unicorn did not resist; it simply tilted its head slightly and tossed the cat off.
The Guantou flipped in the air, landed lightly on the ground, and knocked over the books that Morris had piled up.
The blue flames in the Skeleton Dog's eye sockets flickered as it curiously observed its new colleague.
Morris suddenly realized that his room was a bit cramped.
Although he occupied an entire dormitory room by himself, the space was clearly a bit cramped after cramming in four pets.
Fortunately, he already has a solution.
A few days ago, a new magic circle appeared in the Book of the Mage: " Undead Creature Containment Magic Circle ".
As its name suggests, this magic circle can create a stable space specifically for containing undead creatures.
He took off his robe, spread it out on the floor, and began to draw a magic circle.
The magic circle wasn't large, only about ten inches.
After finishing the drawing, Morris took out a few more Gap Energy Crystal from his backpack and threw them up.
The Gap Crystal instantly turned into a wisp of mist, which was absorbed by the magic circle.
The magic circle flashed briefly before quickly dimming, appearing as if it were just an ordinary pattern imprinted on the inside of the robe.
Everything is ready.
Morris put his robe back on and felt nothing amiss.
He flicked his robes at the Skeleton Unicorn.
The next second, the Unicorn's body twisted, transforming into a beam of light and silently disappearing into the robe.
The room suddenly felt much more spacious.
Morris could clearly sense that a small, gray space was closely connected to him, and the Skeleton Unicorn stood quietly within it, in good condition.
He then turned to the Skeleton Dog and flicked the hem of his robe in the same manner.
The Skeleton Dog then disappeared and reappeared in the containment space, standing beside the Skeleton Unicorn.
"What convenient magic!" Morris exclaimed.
If he has enough undead creatures, he can even carry an entire undead army with him.
Unfortunately, first-tier undead creatures have little combat ability.
Like the first-stage Skeleton Dog and Skeleton Unicorn, they are nothing more than moving skeletons.
Even if a large amount is transformed, it will be of little use without an advancement ritual.
He glanced at the Guantou.
Well, even if I advance to the second tier, it might not be of any use.
Afterwards, Morris picked and chose from the half-wolf skeleton, managing to piece together a lame Skeleton Wolf, which he then stored in his spatial storage.
Over the next few days, Morris focused his energy on condensing Gap Energy Crystal and did not go into the Forbidden Forest to collect materials.
He plans to take the elite route for now, first getting all the undead creatures he currently possesses to advance.
As for the undead army, there will always be opportunities later.
Late February, Thursday.
Dark Magic Defence Class.
On the platform, Quirrell was stammering as he lectured, while the students below were dozing off.
Morris suddenly remembered Halloween last semester, when Quirrell was scared unconscious by a Troll.
Upon careful consideration, this is clearly somewhat illogical.
After all, he had seen Quirrell when he was in Knockturn Alley.
To be able to move around in that kind of place, one must be incredibly brave; it would be unreasonable to say that they were afraid of a mere Troll.
However, this has nothing to do with him.
He was just thinking about it out of boredom.
At that moment, Hermione whispered to him, "You're not learning anything in this class, are you? Professor Quirrell can't even explain the basics."
"Indeed," Morris nodded, "So you'd better learn on your own, or use this time for something else."
As he spoke, he showed the Potions book in his hand.
Hermione opened her mouth, but didn't say anything.
She wouldn't openly do anything else during Dark Magic Defence Class.
This was somewhat disrespectful to Professor Quirrell.
That said, Morris really does love Potions, to the point of obsession.
She didn't dislike Potions class, but having Snape as her Potions Class professor... well, it's hard to say.
Before we knew it, the bell rang, signaling the end of get out of class.
As Morris was leaving the classroom, an unexpected person approached him.
" Black," Neville caught up with him cautiously, "I need to speak with you."
Morris stopped, slightly surprised.
What does Neville want with him?
"Shall we go somewhere else to say this?" Morris asked.
Looking at the students coming and going in the corridor, Neville nervously replied, "No need—uh, let's find somewhere else."
The two walked to the flower bed in the courtyard.
"So," Morris spoke first, "What do you want? Did Draco Malfoy bully you again?"
Neville's eyes immediately welled up with tears.
He stammered, "How... how did you know?"
"Just a guess," Morris raised an eyebrow, his tone calm. "You want me to help you get revenge? If that's the case, then you've come to the wrong person."
Neville quickly shook his head. "No, I just wanted to ask how you dealt with Malfoy? I remember you said before that he couldn't beat you."
Morris drew his wand, pointed with his other finger, and said casually, "Use this. If Malfoy uses Leg-Locker Curse on you, just counter with an Blasting Curse. Trust me, he won't dare bother you again after that."
Neville looked bewildered.
Blasting Curse?
Is this the kind of magic he should be learning now?
Seeing Neville's expression, Morris gave him a better suggestion. "Actually, I think you should tell the professor; Professor McGonagall won't ignore it."
"I don't want to cause trouble." Neville lowered his head, his voice almost inaudible. "Besides, Malfoy said that even if I told the professor, he wouldn't be able to find anything wrong with him. He also said his father is on the School Governor..."
"Then you should go and practice your magic," Morris said kindly. "I can teach you a few useful and easy-to-learn spells, but as for anything more, I can't help you."
Neville's eyes lit up instantly. "Really? Thank you, Black, that's enough."
Morris nodded. "Just call me Morris."
Neville nodded vigorously and asked, "So what spell are you going to teach me?"
Morris stroked his chin. "Then let's use the Weakness Jinx."
This is a spell he found in the library; its effect is to induce a slight feeling of fatigue.
It can be seen as a playful version of the Weakening Curse.
It's very easy and perfect for beginners.
