A meteorite fell into the sea, creating towering waves.

The Eight-Winged Divine Angel was sent flying backward, three of his pure white wings breaking off, and divine blood splattered all around him. He barely managed to steady himself, but he was no longer able to fight back.

Heidens's expression changed completely.

He never expected that Doehring, a mere Earth Element god who had only recently entered the Midgod Deity Level, would be so terrifying. Eight-Winged Divine Angel, Lowgod, was like a chicken or a dog in his presence.

But he knew even more clearly that he had no way out.

" Linley! Doehring!" Heidens suddenly threw his head back and laughed wildly, as if he had gone mad. "You think that by destroying the Angel Legion, you can destroy my Radiant Church? Fine, today I will show you what a true god is!"

Before he finished speaking, he suddenly raised the Original Bible high in his hand and uttered the last and strongest syllable.

"Please, my Lord, descend!"

In an instant, the pillar of light that pierced through the heavens and earth trembled violently.

Within the pillar of light, a colossal eye formed from holy light slowly opened. The eye was boundless, seemingly occupying the entire sky, indifferent, majestic, and devoid of any emotion. It didn't even look at anyone, but merely cast a gaze upon this continent.

The projection of the Radiant Sovereign.

The Sovereign God cannot enter the Material Plane, but this projection is the will of the Radiant Sovereign, cast across countless planes. For Deity Level powerhouse to descend in his true form to Yulan, he can only do so through the spatial teleportation channel of the Arctic Icefield —that channel is guarded by Planar Overseer, and even if the Radiant Divine Realm has a divine army, it is impossible to bypass it and send a large army out of thin air on the Holy Island.

As that gaze fell, the entire sea seemed to freeze. The sea breeze stopped, the waves ceased, and even the vast expanse of seawater that Doehring had stirred up froze in mid-air, like a frozen painting.

"The Lord... the Lord's gaze!" Heidens looked up, tears streaming down his face, ecstasy and madness flashing across his expression. " Linley! Doehring! You're finished!"

At that very moment, the Coiling Dragon Ring on Linley's chest suddenly began to tremble violently.

The black ring that had been with him for decades was now so hot it almost burned through his robes. On the ring face, there was a faint dragon-shaped pattern, flickering and changing, as if something that had been sleeping had been awakened by this gaze.

Linley's heart skipped a beat. Why was this ring reacting so strongly to that gaze?

He had a vague feeling that there was a deep-seated grudge between this Coiling Dragon Ring and the owner of that giant eye, a grudge he was unaware of.

But at this moment, he had no time to think about it further.

Linley felt something far more terrifying than divine power slowly crushing his soul. The feeling was somewhat similar to Heidens's Fate Law, but a thousand times stronger. It was as if an invisible hand reached down from the heavens, gently holding the life and death of everyone in its palm.

"This is..." The War God's face turned deathly pale for the first time. This powerful figure, who had dominated the Yulan Garden for thousands of years, was now even trembling in his voice.

The high priest's knuckles turned white as he gripped the withered wooden staff. Even Dylan's colossal, sky-covering body lowered slightly, his scarlet vertical pupils filled with terror. Cesar's languid expression had vanished without a trace, replaced by an unprecedented solemnity.

Above the sea, Barker knelt on one knee, his Earth Element Divine Power surging out wildly, yet he was still overwhelmed by the invisible pressure, his forehead veins bulging. Bebe lay on Linley's shoulder, its black fur standing on end, emitting low whimpers—the instinctive fear of a magical beast against its natural enemy. Sessler's undead army crumbled in swathes under this gaze, turning into dust and ashes, and no matter how many incantations he chanted, he could not summon another one.

" The Radiant Sovereign," Doehring spoke slowly, his voice hoarse, "He projected a shadow across the plane."

Heidens, however, seemed to grasp at a last straw, laughing wildly to the sky, " Linley! Doehring! You're finished! The Lord's gaze has fallen; today, none of you will leave alive!"

Before the words were finished, a beam of pure white light suddenly shot out from that giant eye.

The light wasn't thick; in fact, it was quite thin, like a blindingly white thread. But the instant it swept across the sea, the entire surface, along with the land beneath it, silently cracked open into a bottomless chasm. The seawater surged to both sides, revealing the dark seabed. The reefs and silt on the seabed vanished into nothingness the moment they came into contact with the light.

On the Holy Island, half of the temple collapsed with a deafening roar. Those angels who hadn't had time to escape, if even a trace of that light touched them, were instantly reduced to ashes without even being able to scream.

The light, following the ravine, pointed directly at Doehring.

Doehring's pupils contracted sharply. He clasped his hands together, and the earth beneath his feet rose up with a roar. One, two, three... seven earthen-yellow rock walls rose from the sea, layer upon layer, like seven great mountains, blocking his way. On each rock wall, there were dense Earth Element divine runes, which was the limit of Doehring power.

But that light, like cutting through tofu, pierced through layer after layer.

The seven-layered rock wall shattered in an instant, even the fragments were burned into nothingness.

"Grandpa Doehring!" Linley's eyes widened in fury. He sprang up, his Wind Divine Power surging wildly toward the Purple Blood Soft Sword, unleashing Blade of Dimension strike at the light.

boom!

The Blade of Dimension collided with the light, only slightly deflecting it before shattering with a deafening roar. Linley was thrown back by the recoil, crashing heavily into the sea and spitting out blood.

The light eventually fell on Doehring.
