[Large-scale, long-term quest - Bloody Night

Mission Description: A battered merchant brings news of an impending Corpse Tide. As one of the Calamity of this World of Disorder, the Corpse Tide, formed from Blood Corpse, will sweep across every inch of land it passes through like a hurricane. Pick up your tools and weapons and survive the coming Corpse Tide.

Current progress: Main storyline phase one (activated, not completed), hidden side quest (conditions not met).

Phase 1 Task List (Optional):

1. Construction of fortifications: Build small watchtowers on the edge of the territory. Militia patrols from White Wax Town will be stationed in these areas and keep watch for possible Blood Corpse. Build defensive fortifications near the main settlements to resist possible Corpse Tide. Build fences around NPC settlements to protect the elderly and weak who are unable to fight back.

*Each completed fortification accumulates corresponding contribution points, and additional contribution points are awarded for the fortifications' effectiveness in combating Corpse Tide.

2. Resource Reserves: The arrival of the Corpse Tide means that most production and commercial activities will slow down or come to a standstill. To boost morale and extend our holding time, we need more readily available resources, including but not limited to food, wood, stone, Aberration samples, spare weapons, etc.

* You will receive contribution points for providing a certain amount of resources; providing currently scarce resources will earn you more contribution points.

3. Mobile Response: Corpse Tide may attack known areas from any direction. It is essential to ensure that a sufficient number of mobile squads are stationed at each settlement. These mobile squads need to respond quickly to signals from the militia NPCs at the watchtowers and complete the corresponding delaying and support missions.

A basic contribution value is earned for each response; the completion rate of the response increases the contribution value earning coefficient.

4. Exploration and Reconnaissance: Form a team of 3-5 people and obtain the qualification to start the exploration and reconnaissance mission. Players need to explore areas outside the territory, look for traces of a large number of Blood Corpse, and observe and record the movement direction of the large number of Blood Corpse.

* You can obtain corresponding contribution points based on the size of each Blood Corpse horde marked, and additional contribution points can be obtained by recording the movement trajectory of the Blood Corpse horde.

Note: The weight of contribution points will determine the final allocation of task pool points. Please acquire them reasonably without affecting the gaming experience of other players.

Note: Blood Corpse have the ability to assimilate and infect, and will have different effects on NPCs and players.

Note: Killing any Blood Corpse will grant a marker, which the remaining Blood Corpse can use to locate the target.

From Gray's perspective, Ed seemed to simply state the current situation and then say that he was going to issue some kind of " Mobilization Order ".

Then the group of well-proportioned young men and women below exclaimed "Holy crap!"

Is this the dialect spoken by the Tree Worship Church sect?

His master had never mentioned the existence of this language to him, or perhaps he had never even heard of it?

Regardless, Gray saw no fear on those people's faces; it seemed the Blood Corpse had already become their defeated foe.

Because Ed started a live broadcast, even players who are still inside the Dungeon know what's happening outside.

[Xiexie Huigu], who had been cornered by the enemy, immediately started killing each other with his companions—you can play Dungeon anytime, but limited-time events are gone if you don't participate!

When the several Tree Worship Church priests, their bodies torn to pieces, arrived at the corner, they found only a pile of limbs and fragments engulfed and swallowed by Boston Ivy.

Looking at each other in bewilderment, they were pulled back to their positions by the vines, waiting for the next group of challengers to arrive.

The excitement of the Soul Returner naturally attracted the attention of many native NPCs. After all, anyone would be somewhat surprised to see a farmer suddenly jump up and roar while he was planting crops.

However, their confusion was soon resolved. Ed handed over all the NPCs in White Wax Town to Duolin's jurisdiction, and the garrison captain, who occasionally also acted as a scriptwriter, received a new mission.

After learning of the impending arrival of the Blood Corpse, Duolin began recruiting NPCs outside the [ White Wax Town Adventurers' Guild ] to volunteer as militia members and join the patrol team.

Many residents of White Wax Town were somewhat interested in the so-called patrol team. Some of them might be dissatisfied with their current jobs and want to improve their income or seek excitement, while others had a favorable impression of the so-called Second Holy See.

Duolin, however, did not know how many of them would choose to stay once they realized just how terrifying the enemy they were about to face was.

Among the many onlookers, he spotted the familiar face that had been the first to decide to sign up.

A former experimental subject Darnell.

The official forum for " World of Disorder ".

Since this was the second large-scale, long-term mission, players quickly responded based on their understanding of the game.

A major topic about " Bloody Night " was quickly generated, and four corresponding "sub-sections" were quickly established based on different player preferences.

Hundreds of players began spontaneously discussing within the forum how to quickly accumulate contribution points, with posts about carpooling, forming teams, and asking for help appearing one after another.

The area below the official game event announcements has now become an open-air forum for players, with countless topics being discussed and the level of interest remaining consistently high.

[ Gu Gugu ]: "The exploration team is short of members, we can recruit someone, someone obedient and well-behaved."

[ The Priest Was Once a Little Boy ]: "What good is being a good boy? Show off your achievements and titles."

[ Gu Gugu ]: "[Warrior], [ A Glimmer of Light (Simple)]"

[ The Priest Was Once a Little Boy ]: "Garlic bird, I can't carry it, I can't carry it."

[ Gu Gugu ]: "Can, can need?"

[ The Priest Was Once a Little Boy ]: "[ Logistics Warrior ], [ A Glimmer of Light (simple)]"

[ Gu Gugu ]: "???? How dare you say you can't carry someone who's even worse than me?"

[ The Priest Was Once a Little Boy ]: "What I mean is, you can't help me..."

[ Gu Gugu ]: "What a parasite!"

[ The Priest Was Once a Little Boy ]: "Likewise."

Besides these kinds of casual posts asking to team up, what got to the top was actually a player's Do Some Farm Work rant:

"I think this mission shouldn't be called ' Bloody Night,' it should be called ' Plants vs. Zombies.'"

[ Enemy from the Sky ]: "This is genius!"

[ Zhongde ]: "Why is it that even though I memorize jokes like crazy, I still can't beat a professional player like you?"

[ Shit Appraisal Master ]: "Brothers, give this a push; maybe it'll get the authorities to change the name."

[ Brain Bling ]: "That's unlikely... but there's a chance it'll be pinned to the top, since it seems the official team cares a lot about player feedback."

[ Ever-Changing Master Ye ]: "Correction: It should be [Plants vs. Zombies]."
