Meeting [ A Huan's ] puzzled gaze, [ the Lion Hidden in the Eyes ] began to recount everything in detail—
"I know a player named [ Valiant Assassin Qie ] who is good at photography and drawing. She can handle the portraits. It'll be like movable type printing; we'll get a reliable master copy and then print it like crazy. It's just that color printing is a bit troublesome. If she doesn't mind, we can use black and white first. This world shouldn't be that particular..."
"The short stories about Seraphina can be outsourced to [ Ginseng Rooster ]. This guy is good at writing history, and I reckon he could easily write a few short stories like 'Lady Seraphina used a stone to knock down the vanguard of the Demonic Tide '."
"Recent news can be left to [ Zhong Lele ]. That guy not only loves interviews, but he's also a master at embellishing stories. All we need to do is add a lot of adjectives. What Seraphina actually did isn't that important."
"As for badge design, you can look for [ Traditional Eccentric Wheel ] and [ Is My Mic Crackling Badly? ], one of them can hand-craft parts, and the other has good aesthetics and rich design experience..."
[ With Lion Hidden in the Eyes ] spoke at length, leaving [ A Huan ] dumbfounded.
After processing the massive amount of information, [ A Huan ] asked the question that mattered most to him—
"Would they agree to these jobs you're suggesting? To be honest, Seraphina paid some money for them; we could actually split it."
You don't understand.
[ With Lion Hidden in the Eyes ], he placed his hands on [ A Huan ]'s shoulders, like someone who enjoys watching a good show.
"Brother, people don't feel tired when they're doing something exciting."
"You worry they don't have time, but they're only worried they won't get a chance to have this opportunity."
With the matter largely settled, [ Lion Hidden in the Eyes ] quickly created a group chat and invited all the players he had mentioned to join.
An hour later, everyone sat around the stall of Chef [ Not Bad Tasting ] from the World of Disorder, and began to discuss the details of their upcoming prank...
While a group of players were discussing how to transform Seraphina into a general from another world, combat-enthusiastic players had already turned their attention to the Wilderness of Chaos.
Gray's mobile fortress was knocked open once again. Looking out, he saw a somewhat unfamiliar Soul Returner standing before him, looking at him with anticipation.
Behind him followed seven or eight men, all of whom were casting their burning gazes at him, a married man.
Gray said thoughtfully:
"If you're here to buy a robotic arm, I'm sorry, it's sold out."
Before the other party could speak, Gray had already politely declined the Soul Returner in front of him. In his opinion, the group of people looking at him expectantly were definitely there for the mechanical arm.
But almost two days had passed since the robotic arms sold out, and these Soul Returner were completely out of the loop.
Just as Gray was about to close the door and see the guests out, he saw the leader of the players in front of him shake his head:
"We're not here to buy anything; to be precise, we're here to 'rent' something."
"Rent? Do I have anything here that I can rent?"
As Gray answered, he subconsciously turned his head to look at the empty container.
It seems the only thing still available for rent here is the Antasia itself.
But he and Nora couldn't afford to sleep on the streets, so borrowing the Antasia... was obviously out of the question.
The Soul Returner before him nodded:
"Yes, we heard you have a vampire count who's currently restrained. We'd like to rent him/her; the price is negotiable."
"Oh, you mean Bennett?"
Gray felt the name was somewhat unfamiliar; he had been calling the man Chief Engineer for the past few months and had almost forgotten the vampire's real name.
"That's right, it's him. I heard he has a special Psionic Energy Formula that can help attract wild Blood Corpse."
Gray recalled his last experience in Valhalla, when he pushed Bennett, in her wheelchair, through the Wilderness of Chaos to locate other powerful Blood Corpse, followed by a large group of Blood Corpse followers...
Recalling that experience, he roughly understood what the Soul Returner before him wanted to do.
Since the Antasia has no sailing plans for the next few days, renting out the chief engineer to earn some extra money isn't out of the question, but...
Gray looked at the Soul Returner in front of him with a serious expression:
"You should know that the Vampire Count is very valuable. If you want to rent it, you'll need to pay a deposit. Is that acceptable to you?"
To his surprise, the Soul Returner before him nodded without hesitation and said:
"Of course, we know the importance of vampire counts. If possible, we would even like to cultivate one ourselves."
Upon hearing this, Gray's eyes widened immediately.
Is it even appropriate to say that?
Gray stared at the Soul Returner before him with a look of utter disbelief. For an ordinary Blood Corpse to become an earl, it not only needed to "awaken its intelligence" but also required a large amount of blood to enhance its strength.
Enlightenment is something that can only be done by vampires of the rank of count or higher.
Furthermore, there is a limit to the number of people who can gain intelligence, so vampires with noble titles generally don't have many intelligent Blood Corpse under their command, especially counts.
This is partly because they themselves are not strong enough, and partly because a count obviously cannot have several other counts under his command unless he successfully rises to the rank of marquis.
On the other hand, a large amount of blood means a large amount of killing, and the source must be humans, which is why Bennett is so obsessed with sacrificing the entire town.
Therefore, one should not casually make statements such as "training vampire counts".
Fortunately, the Soul Returner before him did not stop there; he continued to explain:
"We also know that cultivating a vampire count is unlikely, so our plan is to rent your vampire. We need him to locate a new vampire count, and then we'll organize a team to capture him alive."
Gray was shocked that the Soul Returner before him had such a grand and wondrous goal.
Even among factions that have deployed Blood Corpse Engines across a large area, such as the Graycast Corridor, people clearly prefer to capture low-level Blood Corpse that lack intelligence.
As for how to command and drive them, ingenious mechanical structures will take care of that.
But at the Second Holy See, he was more than once astonished by the unconventional thinking of these Soul Returner.
The Graycast Corridor doesn't understand that capturing the vampire count alive will allow them to command vampires?
They certainly knew this, but as a large human power, the Graycast Corridor had to be responsible for all the civilians under its jurisdiction.
If the count or marquis they capture manages to break free from their restraints when no one is looking, the entire satellite city will be slaughtered by the Blood Corpse!
But such obvious dangers seem to be non-existent in the eyes of these Soul Returner. They seem completely unconcerned about the risks of their plans, only wanting to achieve the best results with the lowest cost, like a gambler who goes all in every round.
