"Based on previously known intelligence, it can be roughly determined that the three Grand Dukes, Antos, Adelaide, and Hall, are in a sealed state."
"Since the elves left Klaf City during their battle with the Hall, it is highly likely that there are two Grand Dukes Antos and Adelaide, in Klaf City."
" Antos's location has been confirmed by the advance team through that old knight, but Adelaide's whereabouts are still unknown."
Ed thought for a moment and said:
"I can have the Soul Returner ask that old knight for more information about the other vampire grand dukes."
"But there is another problem. You come from the Demon Realm. The people there believe that four Grand Dukes were sealed away, and three Grand Dukes are in the Demon Realm."
" Gray, from the Graycast Corridor, believes that three were sealed away while four others were in the Demon Realm, with one missing..."
Willow nodded and said:
"Although it is uncertain which Grand Duke this is, the possibility that he has died or been devoured by other members of his clan cannot be ruled out."
"Lower-level Blood Corpse can devour each other, and from a genealogical perspective, higher-level vampires must also do the same."
Ed sighed and said with emotion:
"It seems being a vampire isn't easy either; at least humans haven't faced the predicament of devouring each other..."
Willow, however, spoke with righteous indignation:
"Not just humans, but all races except vampires do not possess this filthy and vile bloodline!"
Ed shook his head and chuckled:
"That's a bit of an overstatement. As far as I know, there's another race..."
At this point, Ed suddenly fell silent, his eyes turning to the puzzled Willow:
"A possibility suddenly occurred to me..."
A few minutes later, a wide-eyed Willow left Ed's study with the plan.
Ed, who had just finished brainstorming, continued pacing around the room.
As a stranger who had lived in this World of Disorder for less than a year, he had very little information about the world's setting.
However, given how terrible the world has become, Willow, who is almost a hundred years old, doesn't seem to know much more than he does.
Silvis is an old man with a wealth of combat experience; he might know some strange and unusual information...
With that in mind, Ed was already planning to assign some intelligence gathering tasks to [ Dawn Ah ] and the others.
At that very moment--
"Hmm, a lone individual has reconnected to the network."
A voice, uttering clumsy words, inexplicably echoed in Ed's mind.
Needless to say, the only thing that can use various words to express an event is the uninvited guest in one's own eyes.
Can you speak human language?
"Yes, a plant that was outside the Root Network has reconnected to our network."
"Interesting, which one is it?"
There are a fair number of plants that exist outside of the Root Network.
Because the physical creation is based on plants, in fact all players outside the coverage area of Root Network can be included in this category.
But Little Green obviously wouldn't report this matter separately just because of one player.
Thinking about it this way... Ed waved his hands, and a complex model resembling a collection of neurons slowly unfolded in Ed's mind.
Beyond the complex array of lights, like a galaxy, a lone point of light radiates a unique Psionic Energy glow.
"Signal range has been amplified, Psionic Energy attributes are too high, and it's approaching the Second Holy See."
Ed quickly discerned the individual's characteristics.
"This is... the World Tree model from the Antasia?"
"That's right."
Little Green also chimed in with agreement:
"That plant should have been dormant, but I don't know why..."
"Go and see for yourself."
Ed interrupted Little Green's deduction, and countless vines instantly surged out of the crack in the ground in front of him, intertwining to form a recliner beneath him.
Like a real-world gamer, Ed leaned back, his consciousness sinking into the Root Network.
After several months of study and exploration, Ed has gained a new understanding of the so-called "realm" setting of the World of Disorder.
The so-called "domain" is actually a region that follows its own set rules.
One of Ed's domain rules is that he can let his roots grow freely.
Therefore, any place with Root Network, even if it is temporary, will become an area covered by Ed's abilities.
Although he didn't know why the statue he had given to Gray had been activated, the fact that it was connected to the Root Network meant that Ed's soul could now freely roam within it.
Once Ed was certain that his body was absolutely safe, he transferred his consciousness with a single thought.
Ed, in his conscious state, opened his eyes to a hazy, indistinct void where it was difficult to distinguish up from down from left from right.
Is this the consciousness space generated by my own World Tree statue?
Ed was somewhat unsure.
Plants have a very low level of intelligence; they don't even possess a basic brain. It's impossible for a single plant to have such a vast space of consciousness.
Just then, he suddenly heard a noise behind him.
It wasn't a sound in the actual sense, but rather a fluctuation in one's will, like something fighting behind one's back.
Ed turned his head and saw that there really were two things fighting in this space of consciousness.
On the left is a semi-transparent blue dragon.
Calling it a giant dragon would be giving it too much credit; this translucent creature currently appears to be a small to medium-sized dragon, roughly one-seventh or one-eighth the size of Seraphina.
On the right, however, lies something that defies description.
Flesh and machine intertwine, rules and chaos overlap, and a humanoid creature possessing multiple traits is attacking the translucent blue dragon soul before it with its fleshy tentacles and mechanical chainsaws.
The Blue Dragon, not to be outdone, brandished its claws and engaged the mechanical monster in a fierce battle.
Looking at the utterly chaotic scene before him, Ed clicked his tongue for a long time before finally uttering a single sentence:
" Godzilla vs. Optimus Prime?"
"That's impressive, but something seems off..."
Little Green chimed in at the opportune moment, Ed tilted his head and said:
"We clearly entered the consciousness space of a special plant, so why are these two things that are obviously not plants fighting here?"
Little Green thought for a moment and said:
"Objectively speaking, what you see is actually an invisible clash between two concepts or souls; it's just that your personal thinking has conjured up such a scene."
Ed nodded in agreement:
"So, what exactly did you mean by 'something's not right'?"
"Your description is incorrect."
Little Green's voice came:
"Monsters vs. mechs, this is clearly ' Pacific Rim '."
