Chapter 9

A sharp smack rang out through the Fu family mansion.

Everyone froze.

They all looked at Fu Yunqi.

Fu Yichu asked with concern, "How are you feeling, Second Brother? Was that enough? If not, I've got another one for you."

Furious, Fu Yunqi slapped his hand away. Although he was angry that his third brother had hit him, he did feel less worked up now.

Holding his cheek, he could not quite understand why he had gotten so agitated with his eldest brother and sister-in-law just now. Besides, clearing out a shopping mall was such a minor matter. What rich person did not have that habit?

And Jiang Ruoning, too. Why had she pestered him into coming to demand an explanation over such a trivial matter, even bringing it up at his home in front of so many people?
