• Bai Mei freed Qian Jing from her crystal, and Shuangsheng learned that Qian Jing’s ability could only seal herself.
• Bai Mei destroyed a Witch Association leather factory, then killed a deranged woman who attacked her with foul magic.
• Swordsmith forced a bald Witch Association member to reveal what he knew about Bai Mei’s search for bases, but he could not give her the teacher’s exact location.

• An Shiyu befriended Sparrow, who loved magical girls, and later comforted her as children were imprisoned and tortured underground.

• Shuangsheng worried Jiang Motu would destroy the Witch Association before three hours had passed, while Chilian urged the Calamity Beasts to attack and finish the fight quickly.
• Jiang Motu drew Honghe away toward the television tower as the Calamity Beasts searched for Witch Association members without killing them.
