The struggle over Dao Paths
In the Yunmeng Jade Pool Realm, the sun hangs high in the sky.
Since the Sun Star returned to its rightful place, the once desolate Yunmeng Jade Pool Realm has begun to nurture life.
It is not Immortality Tree or Flat Peach Tree deliberately cultivated by Xiluo, but a vitality nurtured by the normal functioning of the world.
Microscopic insects in the air, earthworms in the soil, fish in the water...
These life forms, emerging and evolving little by little, appeared naturally in the Yunmeng Jade Pool Realm without any interference. "To have such a systematic group formed so quickly, this Sun Star is indeed no ordinary sun."
"But that makes sense. After all, in the true mythological era, how could the sun be just a continuously burning star?" He strolled leisurely on the Sun Star.
Ignoring the blazing flames around him, Li Boyang focused intently on observing the Sun Star.
Besides the intense heat, Li Boyang also sensed a rich primordial energy emanating from this Sun Star.
This primordial energy, like the Taiyin energy of the Great Yin Star, not only illuminates the earth but also brings new life to it.
"Teacher? Do you really intend to use this Sun Star to Dao Proving?"
Without a sound, Wangshu, the incarnation of the Great Yin Star, appeared beside Li Boyang.
However, Wangshu clearly did not like the high temperature environment of the Sun Star, and her brows were furrowed throughout the entire process.
"Isn't this a bit too hasty? Is it for my master's sake?"
Upon hearing Wangshu's question, Li Boyang was stunned for a long time before he realized who the "aunt" she was referring to was.
Where did you learn to address me like that?
"Xiluo isn't the type to care about seniority; you can just call her by her first name."
Li Boyang glanced at Wangshu, both amused and exasperated, before finally offering his explanation.
"But you're right, Xiluo is about to Dao Proving, and I have to find a way to share some of the attention with her."
These words not only failed to dispel Wangshu's doubts, but actually made her even more confused.
She initially thought that because Xiluo firmly believed in "Heavenly Mandate," Li Boyang sensed a potential crisis and was therefore eager to prove the [Dao of the Sun].
But judging from Li Boyang's current explanation, the situation seems to be somewhat Great Unity from what I imagined?
Have you ever considered just how far-reaching the "Dao of Divine Spirits" that Xiluo wants to prove will actually be?
She was known in later generations as the "Queen Mother of the West." Do you think this is just a simple title?
"Commanding all gods, reigning supreme over the world..."
"None of the words you can imagine are sufficient to describe her renown in later generations."
"It's no exaggeration to say that, in terms of fame alone, the title ' Queen Mother of the West ' is perhaps second only to ' Dao Ancestor.' This is evident from the actions of Zhuang Zhou, Boshun, and Zhenwu."
"The three of them come from different eras and different futures, yet they all know of the existence of the Queen Mother of the West, which speaks volumes about her prestige." Li Boyang paused slightly at this point.
"So here's the question: for a major event like the Queen Mother of the West's Dao Proving, would those Dao Proving One from the past, present, and future stand idly by?"
"Whether it's hatred or malice towards Xiluo herself, or a desire to prevent the birth of the ' Queen Mother of the West,' her Dao Proving is destined to be anything but peaceful."
Upon hearing this, Wangshu nodded in realization.
As she matured further, she was able to fully understand Li Boyang's concerns.
First, "Queen Mother of the West" symbolizes the [Dao of Divine Spirits].
This means that, in theory, all gods born from this day forward will be under its control.
However, Xiluo cannot be like Li Boyang, who simply seeks enlightenment for the sake of Dao Proving. Therefore, she is naturally the enemy of all the gods. After all, no matter how powerful Xiluo may be able to give to the concept of "gods" in the future, in essence, she is still restraining the gods. No one likes the feeling of having someone constantly controlling them and not being free to do anything.
Secondly, precisely because the power displayed by the Queen Mother of the West was so terrifying, there must have been many who coveted this power.
Even if it offends Xiluo, it's worth it for the Chi family.
None of those Dao Proving One dare to transcend time and space and connect their Dao Path through the ages are cowards.
At the very least, for the vast majority of Dao Proving One who were unaware of the relationship between Li Boyang and Xiluo, offending a powerful figure from the Queen Mother of the West was entirely within their acceptable range.
Finally, and most importantly, Xiluo was able to achieve such great fame in the future.
To say that he doesn't have one or two rivals and enemies who hate him to the core is simply wishful thinking.
Just think of Wu Jun and Dayi, Zhuang Zhou and Boshun, and you'll understand. They are the best proof of all kinds of love and hate entanglements.
Is this the "battle of Dao Path"?
Wangshu couldn't help but sigh as she realized how complex and terrifying the "battle of the Dao Path" had always been.
However, after her initial reflections, a competitive spirit involuntarily arose deep within Wangshu's heart.
The more intense the "battle for the Dao Path," the stronger the Dao Proving One.
Only true power attracts the attention and covetousness of others; this is an unchanging truth in any era.
Wangshu even fantasized that if he could have such a grand display when he Dao Proving in the future, it would be worth it even if Dao Proving ultimately failed! Indeed, for those Great Heavenly Deity who dominated an era, Dao Proving itself was not difficult at all.
"The difficulty lies in the fact that during their Dao Proving, countless beings of the same level will come to obstruct them."
As the saying goes, those who follow the right path receive much help, while those who stray from it receive little.
"If you want to Dao Proving in the future, your own strength is one aspect, but you must also remember to cultivate good relationships."
Listening to Li Boyang's explanation, Wangshu opened her mouth as if to speak but hesitated.
In Wangshu's true heart, she actually despised this kind of practice of deliberately forming cliques, just to gain more help and fewer enemies when she was Dao Proving.
Li Boyang's example serves as a cautionary tale.
Wangshu felt that the domineering aura that could suppress the entire Long River of Time and prevent anyone from hindering his path to enlightenment was his true goal.
However, the gap between ideals and reality made Wangshu obediently choose to keep quiet.
There is only one Li Boyang, and the title of "Dao Ancestor" is destined to be borne by only him.
"Teacher, how do you plan to share the attention with your aunt?"
Wangshu's stubbornness is evident in her continued choice to address Xiluo as "Shi Gu" (a term of respect for a female disciple).
Fortunately, Li Boyang didn't dwell on the issue of address. Instead, he smiled calmly and then turned his gaze towards the South Sea beyond the Yunmeng Jade Pool Realm.
There are many ways to help Xiluo share the burden, but few are truly effective.
"Moreover, now there's an unexpected entity involved. I need to figure out Chi's intentions first." (C Ancient Moon Ticket Lunlun/Every Recommendation Ticket Lunwang)
