The story of Guanyin's enlightenment

As one of the first Buddha to be born.

In Golden Light Lion Play Tathagata is one of the top figures in the Yama Heaven.

Before the saints of Tushita Heaven had returned to their positions, the Golden Light Lion Play Tathagata even qualified to go to Tushita Heaven to inspect the world on behalf of the saints. Under Chi's guidance, Miaoshan successfully controlled her own desires.

However, this does not mean that Miaoshan has returned to the Miaoshan once was.

Because Miaoshan controls her desires by strengthening her mindfulness, and using mindfulness to counterbalance her desires.

In this respect, Miaoshan, who was praised by Mara as "more like the Buddha than the Buddha himself," truly lived up to Mara's assessment.

Even the Golden Light Lion Play Tathagata did not expect that a mortal who was reincarnated as Gandharva could actually possess such a powerful righteous thought of caring for all sentient beings and having universal compassion.

After activating her own mindfulness, Miaoshan transformed from Gandharva into a Heavenly Consort.

Although in the Yama Heaven's system of Buddhas, this is only the lowest rank, equivalent to a Bhikkhu.

However, considering that she was a reincarnation of Gandharva, the value of Miaoshan as a "Heavenly Consort" far surpasses that of other Heavenly Consort Bhikkhus. More importantly, the Golden Light Lion Play Tathagata saw unprecedented potential in Miaoshan.

Nowadays, all the Buddhas Bodhisattva in Yama Heaven are manifestations of the righteous thoughts of sentient beings; they have no past or present lives.

Or more precisely, the past lives of the Chimen were part of all living beings, an aggregation of countless fragmented memories and mindfulness.

In this context, it is easy to imagine how rare it would be for a Heavenly Princess to have completely inherited the memories and personality of the present world.

Moreover, Miaoshan can directly transform into a celestial consort simply by activating her own righteous thoughts.

The Golden Light Lion Play Tathagata that the other party's potential was definitely not limited to this; she might even become the first Buddha from outside the Yama Heaven. Therefore, the Golden Light Lion Play Tathagata recommended Miaoshan to study in the Treasure Treasury Tathagata.

Treasure Treasury Tathagata is one of the most powerful Tathagatas among all Buddhas, and he is born with the ability to see through all realms.

After reviewing Miaoshan's entire life, Treasure Treasury Tathagata decided to seal her six senses, allowing her to be reborn and attain enlightenment in his own Buddha-land. During this process, although Miaoshan was not a collection of the righteous thoughts of all beings, she was fortunate enough to experience all of Treasure Treasury Tathagata's memories and learn about the yearning of all beings for hope.

From humble ants to supreme deities...

From unknowing plants to wise sages...

All living things possess a deep-seated instinct for survival and a hope for the future.

These instincts and aspirations, evolving positively, eventually converged in the Yama Heaven, transforming into Buddha and Bodhisattva.

Conversely, they fall into the Renli Heaven and become one of the many demon kings, led by the Eight Legions.

When Miaoshan was reborn and returned, she was reawakened to her six senses and transformed into the first Bodhisattva.

Then, Miaoshan made a grand vow Treasure Treasury Tathagata to save all sentient beings from suffering.

The Treasure Treasury Tathagata greatly appreciated this compassionate vow, and thus formally bestowed upon it its first honorific title— Guanshiyin.

Although in the hierarchy of the Yama Heaven, Bodhisattva is still one level below Buddha, they still surpass the vast majority of Mindful Incarnations. Therefore, all the Buddha in the Yama Heaven recognized Miaoshan's potential.

The Buddha trapped in these heavenly Buddha realms believed that perhaps with the help of Miaoshan, they could intervene in the present world without entering the Six Paths of Reincarnation. After all, entering the Six Paths of Reincarnation would require abandoning memories and personality, and the risks involved were still unknown.

At least, until the Buddha, who has entered the Six Paths of Reincarnation, returns.

The Buddha of Yama Heaven always maintained a vague sense of vigilance and aversion towards personally entering the Six Paths of Reincarnation.

To help Miaoshan go further and attain Buddha.

The Golden Light Lion Play Tathagata and the Treasure Treasury Tathagata forces to summon the most ancient Buddha.

That Buddha's title is "Thousand Light King Tranquil Abiding Tathagata".

It is said that Chi was the first Buddha born in the Yama Heaven.

Some even speculate that this Thousand Light King Tranquil Abiding Tathagata is actually an incarnation of an ancient Buddha.

Regardless of the truth or origin of this legend, the qualifications and status of the Thousand Light King Tranquil Abiding Tathagata are beyond doubt.

Under his tutelage, Miaoshan diligently studied and practiced the Great Compassion Heart Dharani, also known as the Great Compassion Incantation. Not only did she directly transcend from the First Ground Bodhisattva stage to the Eighth Ground Bodhisattva, but she also acquired the majestic appearance of a thousand hands and a thousand eyes.

When that majestic form with a thousand hands and a thousand eyes took shape, a Buddhist kingdom was born in the void, and one after another, the Wisdom King Dharma Manifestation, Vajra Arhats, and Heavenly Princesses and Bhikkhus descended to earth on lotus flowers.

Everyone knew that this was a sign of the Buddha's birth.

Once Miaoshan enters that Buddhist kingdom, she can officially attain Buddha and become the ruler of that kingdom.

However, just when Miaoshan was only one step away from attaining Buddhahood, she looked towards that Buddhist kingdom and laughed.

"Since all beings are still drowning in the sea of suffering, what right do I have to call myself a Buddha or an ancestor?"

Under the astonished gaze of countless people, Miaoshan reversed her course, abandoned the Buddhist realm, and refused the readily attainable Buddhahood.

Subsequently, Miaoshan, using the title "Guanshiyin," traveled throughout the Yama Heaven, seeking guidance on cultivation from numerous Buddha Ancestor Bodhisattva.

So... are you Miaoshan or Guanshiyin now?

After listening to Miaoshan's story, Xiluo couldn't help but ask a question.

Although Miaoshan has been subjectively ignoring the negative impact of her reincarnation as Gandharva.

But Xiluo, as an observer, kept wondering if the real Miaoshan was already dead.

The "Miaoshan" in question is merely Guanshiyin Bodhisattva using Miaoshan's body to walk in the present world.

"I am both Miaoshan and Guanshiyin."

Smiling as she answered Xiluo's question, Miaoshan continued, pressing her palms together in prayer.

"Both of these are my identities, but neither fully represents me."

"I have returned from Yama Heaven to fulfill my great vow of universal salvation."

Miaoshan Shan paused slightly at this point before continuing.

"I believe you have also seen the deity in this Purple Bamboo Grove."

"The Chi Men were originally evil gods and Ominous Deity, deeply influenced by their Central Plains desires."

"I will help them find the demons within their hearts, and then subdue them."

"Therefore, they have now become the guardian deities of Mount Putuo, and there is no longer any possibility for them to do evil."

Upon hearing this, Xiluo unconsciously glanced down at Li Boyang.

"Your creation, the Six Desire Heavens, is truly riddled with flaws..."

"The Six Desire Heavens were originally intended to house practitioners who did not wish to be reincarnated after death."

"But these gods tamed the demons within them during their lives. If they enter the Six Desire Heavens Realms after death, wouldn't they only be able to go to the Yama Heaven?"
