Mount Sumeru is the pillar of the Six Desire Heavens.

It connects to the Heaven of the Four Heavenly Kings Trayastrimsa Heaven, Yama Heaven Tushita Heaven, the Heaven of Enjoyment of Emanations, and the Heaven of Sovereignty over Others' Transformations.

However, as more and more Dao Proving One have taken root in the Six Desire Heavens Realms, Mount Sumeru is no longer the simple place it once was. Mount Sumeru is now made of gold, silver, lapis lazuli, and crystal ornaments.

The depth underground and the height above ground are both 3.2 million kilometers, which are almost impossible to measure.

Moreover, Mount Sumeru is named "Sumeru" because it spans three dimensions: underground, ground, and sky. These three dimensions cannot be simply understood as geographical concepts.

These are three completely different dimensions, three completely different divisions of space and time.

The Heaven of the Four Heavenly Kings, the Renli Heaven, the Yama Heaven, the Tushita Heaven, the Heaven of Enjoyment of Emanations, and the Heaven of Sovereignty over Others' Transformations reside in different realms of these three dimensions. The Heaven of the Four Heavenly Kings connects to the subconscious sea of sentient beings, existing between illusion and reality, and is therefore considered "underground."

The Renli Heaven, Yama Heaven, and Tushita Heaven are real Heavenly Realm with complete material concepts, therefore they are considered "the ground."

The Heaven of Enjoyment of Emanations and the Heaven of Sovereignty over Others' Transformations transcend both illusion and reality, and cannot be touched by anything but the divine; therefore, they are the "heavens."

In the distant future, amidst the infinite possibilities of the Long River of Time.

As the number of those Dao Proving One increases, more celestial realms and worlds will be born in these three dimensions.

These subsequent grotto-heavens and worlds, regardless of size, will be divided into these three dimensions according to their different attributes, thus forming the concept of "Small Chiliocosm".

This shows how important Mount Sumeru is to the entire Six Desire Heavens.

In a sense, Mount Sumeru is a "ruler" for measuring the heavens and the world, a pillar supporting the entire world like the "World Tree".

Therefore, when Mount Sumeru shook without warning, everyone felt a sense of panic.

The first to react was Śakra, Indra leader of the Eight Legions of Devas, who was atop Mount Sumeru and had already begun to command them. "What happened?"

That capital city was the "Heavenly Emperor's City," built by Śakra with the combined power of his Eight Legions.

This Garuda possesses a complete human form, yet its imposing presence when its wings are spread rivals that of Śakra.
