The Dao of Taiyi, the Dao of Daluo
Even with the shifts in timeline, the reforms in Great Xia continued in full swing.
However, as Yinglong said, there are far too many vested interests in the Great Xia.
Despite the deterrent power of the Dao Ancestor and the efforts of the higher-ups to promote reforms, progress at the implementation level remained extremely difficult. However, Yinglong's statement was somewhat exaggerated; in fact, the Great Xia had already unified its language and writing system long ago.
Standardized pronunciation, standardized writing, standardized cart tracks...
Even the currency, due to Xingtian City's intervention, has become uniformly based on the bronze currency habitually used in the Hundred Lands Mountain Range.
Moreover, Fu Kui, this contemporary Witch King, also learned from the advanced experiences of the Mountain Folk and forcibly implemented a compulsory education system, from night schools at the beginning to full-time compulsory education today.
Fu Kui can be said to have single-handedly led the entire Great Xia into a truly civilized society.
If there is any shortcoming or regret about Fu Kui, it is probably that he was unable to extend his cultivation methods to the general public, just like the Hundred Lands Mountain Range.
"You've done your best; cultivation, after all, requires resources."
"Even the Mountain Folk from over a hundred years ago, didn't they survive the initial primitive accumulation stage because of the various elixirs of the Dao Ancestor?" Standing beside Fu Kui with a hunched back, Wu Xian, known as the "Divine Witch Wu Xian," looked exceptionally old at this moment.
The dramatic upheavals and reforms of the past few decades have taken their toll, even on someone with his immortality.
Whenever he thought of this, Wu Xian especially missed the decisive and ruthless Wu Yi of the past.
The lifespan of the gods is far too long, so long that it has seriously affected the progress of reforms.
Nearly a century has passed in the blink of an eye. Ordinary humans have already lived through two or three generations, but the first generation of gods are still alive. If Wu Yi had killed all these gods back then, Wu Xian would have been confident that he could have forcibly pushed forward the reforms within a generation.
It can only be said that some people, though dead, live on forever in people's hearts.
"If you ask me, you should have focused your energy on your own spiritual practice from the beginning."
Standing beside Fu Kui, Wu Luo, known as the "Lord of War," appeared much more ruthless.
"Whether you follow the Dao of Taiyi or the Dao of Daluo, you now certainly possess the strength to crush those old fogies."
"With absolute strength, what's the point of playing the 'weighing' game?"
Slowly withdrawing his hand from the rice paddy, Fu Kui finally revealed a faint, bitter smile.
"The Dao of Taiyi? The Dao of Daluo?"
"That's something we can only discuss after breaking through the Divine Gate and Heavenly Pass. You overestimate me."
Looking up at the sky, Fu Kui's gaze seemed to leap out of the Long River of Time and see the Purple Firmament Palace standing Heaven Beyond Heaven.
To this day, Fu Kui still doesn't know what merit or ability he possessed to be able to enter the Purple Firmament Palace in his dream and listen to the Dao Ancestor's sermon about the Great Luo and the Taiyi.
Fu Kui could no longer recall the specific details of that dream.
However, the details of that sermon were deeply etched into Fu Kui's mind.
As Dao Ancestor mentioned at the beginning, with the increasing number of cultivators, the number of those Dao Proving One Dao Proving was also increasing at a visible rate. In particular, the birth of the Zhoutian Star God System greatly lowered the threshold for Dao Proving One.
From then on, any Great Heavenly Deity who crossed the Divine Gate and Heavenly Pass, even if they could not find their own Dao Path, could still attain the Star God Dao in their own time and space.
As a result, the difference between those Dao Proving One is difficult to describe in words.
Therefore, in response to this situation, the Dao Ancestor divided those Dao Proving One into different ranks.
At the very least, this is how most Dao Proving One understand it.
Without knowing the relationship between the Dao Ancestor and the Queen Mother of the West, no one would have thought that Li Boyang was paving the way for Xiluo's future Dao Proving.
The first point concerns the difference between the Celestial Star Gods and ordinary Dao Proving One.
Of course, when Li Boyang was telling these stories, he didn't mention anything about the Zhoutian Star God System.
Li Boyang mainly clarified the differences between those Dao Proving One.
As we all know, among those Dao Proving One, some do so through their own Dao Proving, while others rely on fortuitous opportunity and the Dao Proving of others. The most obvious difference between these two completely different ways of Dao Proving lies in their understanding of the Long River of Time.
Those Dao Proving One and can perceive and interfere with the Long River of Time are referred to by Li Boyang as "Great Luo".
Those Dao Proving One cannot fathom the Long River of Time, or even preserve their memories amidst shifts in the timeline, are referred to by Li Boyang as "Taiyi." The former possess the ability to see into the past and future, naturally giving them a greater advantage and stronger capabilities than the latter.
Although the latter could not foresee the past or the future, they ultimately embarked on the path to Dao Proving.
Based on this, Li Boyang further Dao Proving One according to their cultivation level and level of attainment.
Whether you, the Dao Proving One, follow the Dao of Taiyi or the Dao of Daluo.
In essence, they have all crossed the Divine Gate and Heavenly Pass and are qualified Dao Assimilator.
Li Boyang collectively referred to those Dao Assimilator at this stage as "Loose Immortal"—that is, immortals and Great Heavenly Deity who had not yet been recognized by Heaven and Earth and were not Dao Path in the official system. Above the Loose Immortal were the "True Immortal" —those Dao Proving One in the common sense, beings who were almost immortal. Going further, one would fall into the category of "Golden Immortal).
Li Boyang did not provide a further description of the Golden Immortal, but simply stated that each Golden Immortal was different, but without exception, they all possessed the power to overturn the heavens and earth.
Dao Ancestor himself, Netherworld Lord, and Heavenly Emperor Hao Jun can all be said to have embarked on different paths as Golden Immortal.
Based on this division of "two paths and three stages," future Dao Proving One will have access to more detailed levels of attainment.
They are Taiyi Loose Immortal, Taiyi True Immortal, and Taiyi Golden Immortal, respectively.
And the corresponding Great Luo Loose Immortal, Great Luo True Immortal, and Great Luo Golden Immortal.
In terms of status, the Dao of Taiyi and the Dao of Daluo are theoretically equivalent.
However, in terms of specific abilities, those Dao Proving One through the Dao of Daluo are generally stronger than those Dao Proving One through the Dao of Taiyi. But Li Boyang also emphasized at the end that the Dao of Taiyi and the Dao of Daluo can only serve as a reference.
The true paths to enlightenment are all the same, and it is difficult to define them rigidly with a single, unified rule.
For example, Wu Jun has now completed the process of obtaining Prove Once, Prove Forever.
Although Chi was once trapped in his own era, who dared to underestimate his true abilities?
Especially after his successful Dao Proving, he transformed from a "Great Luo Loose Immortal" who had not yet Dao Proving into a "Great Luo Golden Immortal" who spanned the long river of history. From Loose Immortal to Golden Immortal, from the Heavenly Emperor to the Lord of the Heavenly Realm...
No matter how much these changes have occurred, it does not change the fact that Wu Jun was the strongest person of his time.
