Ch. 351Who Does Not Die? (13)

Lingguzi returned with Meng Zhang sealed inside a finger bone and revealed that he was being used as an ingredient in the Elixir of Immortality ritual, alarming Hanging Silk Lady and Lord Tiaoyao. At Gao Family Village, Panhu watched the village prosper and develop new industries, then lost his mother, Old Madam Gao.

  • Hanging Silk Lady confronted Lingguzi at the canal, and he admitted he had sought ingredients for the Elixir of Immortality.
  • Lingguzi showed Hanging Silk Lady and the eavesdropping Lord Tiaoyao the living Meng Zhang sealed inside a finger bone and explained his role in the ritual.
  • Hanging Silk Lady interrupted Lingguzi before he could finish describing the ritual, while Lord Tiaoyao wondered whether the Elixir of Immortality could be created under Li Boyang's protection.
  • Panhu continued guiding Gao Family Village's road-building and leather-processing industries, and he agreed with Old Madam Gao that the village should establish an elementary school.
  • Old Madam Gao died beside Panhu, who wept as he realized he had lost the person he could depend on.

Ch. 352Cultivating Immortality Herb (23)

Li Boyang questioned Wu Peng about the Immortality Cauldron and the Elixir of Immortality, learning how the Six Witches of Kaiming planned to resurrect Wu Yi. Wu Peng revealed that they intended to cultivate a new Immortality Herb by making dying gods fight over it.

  • Li Boyang discussed the Barrier Domain and the second Witch King with Wu Peng, then asked him about the Immortality Cauldron and the Elixir of Immortality.
  • Wu Peng explained that the Nine Cauldrons formed the foundation of the Divine Land Barrier and that the Six Witches of Kaiming had found the Immortality Cauldron while searching for them.
  • Wu Peng said the fifth Witch King had left a ritual for refining the Elixir of Immortality, but had destroyed the ingredients, which had once included a remnant of the Immortality Herb.
  • Wu Peng explained that the Six Witches of Kaiming wanted to resurrect Wu Yi and had decided to cultivate the Immortality Herb themselves.
  • Wu Peng revealed that the witches planned to use the corpses and divine souls of gods, forcing dying gods to fight over the nascent herb until it became a perfect Elixir of Immortality.

Ch. 353The True Elixir of Immortality (33)

Li Boyang explained that Lady Bagui and the Way of the Celestial Person had made the Immortality Herb’s self-sustaining growth possible, revealing that Lady Bagui was its essential core rather than a supplementary ingredient. He then set aside the discussion of the Elixir of Immortality and turned to the flooding in Great Xia.

  • Wu Peng described how the Six Witches of Kaiming used Long Jikui’s corpse and the Immortality Cauldron to cultivate the Immortality Herb and attract deities to transform it into an Elixir of Immortality.
  • Li Boyang warned Wu Peng that the process could produce a monster and that the Six Witches had not controlled which beings entered the corpse.
  • Li Boyang asked whether Lady Bagui was the only survivor and pointed out that the herb’s growth lacked a sustainable cycle unless something continually supplied it with nourishment.
  • Li Boyang concluded that Lady Bagui’s use of the Method of the Celestial Person let the herb draw on Heaven and Earth Primordial Qi, making her its crucial core ingredient.
  • The Heavenly Mandate Bone Plastron stopped facedown, and Li Boyang put it away before changing the subject to the East Sea and Great Xia’s flooding.

Ch. 354A Founder of Great Xia, the First Gonggong (13)

Li Boyang learned from Wu Peng that Wu Xian had concealed the Sea-Calming Cauldron’s location and was trying to use it to stop the East Sea floods. Wu Peng agreed that Li Boyang should help Wu Xian obtain the cauldron, then the chapter explained Yu Guo’s history as the first Gonggong and Great Xia’s former mediator between humans and gods.

  • Wu Peng deduced that Li Boyang had met Wu Xian and wanted to learn about the East Sea floods and the Sea-Calming Cauldron.
  • Wu Peng explained that Wu Xian had used the Immortality Cauldron to distract the other great witches while planning to quell the East Sea floods.
  • Wu Peng said he would help Li Boyang learn how the floods began and argued that the great witches should support Wu Xian rather than weaken one another.
  • The chapter recounted how Yu Guo, a benevolent water god who helped the first Witch King found Great Xia, became its first Gonggong.
  • Yu Guo later left Great Xia after conflict over the Common Lord position and served as a powerful mediator between humans and gods.

Ch. 355The Nether Spring of the Yin World, the Age of Dharma Decline (23)

Wu Peng explained that the East Sea’s flooding came from the Nether Spring beneath the destroyed Fusang Tree, a passage between the Yin and Yang Worlds that released deadly Water of the Netherworld. Li Boyang realized the spring could threaten all future life, while the Sea-Calming Cauldron was the only known way to restrain it.

  • Li Boyang asked whether Yu Guo’s death had caused the East Sea flooding, and Wu Peng said Yu Guo’s death was unconfirmed and Great Xia had prepared extensively for the East Sea.
  • Wu Peng explained that the legendary Nether Spring connected the Yin World and the Yang World, and that the Netherworld Lord had once crossed between them through the passage opened by death.
  • Wu Peng said the Nether Spring lay beneath the Fusang Tree, destroyed after the Heavenly Emperor’s battle with the Netherworld Lord’s reincarnated body.
  • Wu Peng warned that the Water of the Netherworld could extinguish life and harm future generations, and said the Sea-Calming Cauldron was the only known means of restraining the spring.
  • Li Boyang understood the danger could grow as the water spread and cursed Wu Yi.

Ch. 356The Celestial Person's invitation (33)

Li Boyang preached about the mind, Witch Law, barriers, and formations while Jinjiao brought Lady Bagui, Hanging Silk Lady, and Lingguzi to Ghost God Cliff with the blood-stained golden gourd. After the group reached the cliff, Yinjiao stayed behind and argued with Wu Peng about her feelings toward Lady Bagui.

  • Li Boyang gave a sermon that enthralled Wu Peng and discussed the mind, Witch Law, barriers, and formations.
  • Jinjiao led Lady Bagui, Hanging Silk Lady, and Lingguzi toward Ghost God Cliff while Meng Zhang suffered through the pain inside the finger bone.
  • Lady Bagui feared that Li Boyang might refine her into the Elixir of Immortality, but Jinjiao reassured her that his master was not that kind of person.
  • Wu Peng recognized Lady Bagui as the group passed the mountain god's temple but showed no interest in the incomplete Elixir of Immortality.
  • Yinjiao declined to follow the others, and Wu Peng told her that her coldness had made Lady Bagui cautious before Yinjiao kicked him and left.

Ch. 357Purple-Gold Red Gourd (13)

Li Boyang began refining the Purple-Gold Red Gourd with the formless embryo, while secretly severing Lady Bagui’s connection to the Elixir of Immortality. Kunwu arrived after choosing to face the Nether Spring, and he explained why he was determined to stop the calamity as Xiluo angrily opposed him.

  • Jinjiao, Lady Bagui, Hanging Silk Lady, and Lingguzi arrived at Ghost God Cliff, where Lingguzi gave Li Boyang the finger bone containing the formless embryo.
  • Li Boyang drew the embryo into the golden gourd and poured Primordial Qi into it to refine the Purple-Gold Red Gourd.
  • Li Boyang secretly severed Lady Bagui’s connection to the Elixir of Immortality, freeing her from the sensation of being refined.
  • Kunwu arrived with Xiluo in pursuit and told Li Boyang that he had made his decision, while Xiluo warned Li not to help him face the Nether Spring.
  • Kunwu explained that Wu Yao had awakened him to pursue a path different from Great Xia’s and that he had known her as a girl struggling to lead her people to survive.

Ch. 358The Witch of Destiny (23)

Kunwu revealed her long history with Wu Yao and urged Xiluo to support her plan, but Li Boyang explained how he could separate Kunwu from the Sea-Calming Cauldron. He proposed using the Elixir of Immortality to help Kunwu become a Heavenly Deity, leaving Kunwu stunned by his willingness to give up his only portion.

  • Kunwu recalled how she had supported Wu Yao and become the Sea-Calming Cauldron's Totem Deity before they parted ways.
  • Kunwu asked Xiluo to consider what Wu Yao would have wanted and to support her choice.
  • Li Boyang denied agreeing to hand Kunwu over to Wu Xian and revealed that he had the Elixir of Immortality.
  • Li Boyang explained that Kunwu could become a Heavenly Deity and separate from the Sea-Calming Cauldron.
  • Li Boyang offered Kunwu the Elixir of Immortality to help her overcome her physical limitations, shocking Kunwu.

Ch. 359Improving the Elixir of Immortality (33)

Li Boyang began completing the Elixir of Immortality by refining Kunwu in the Imprisoned Soul Cauldron and using a Taiji-powered Eight Trigrams Formation to generate its life-giving essence. As the true elixir resonated with the cauldron, a massive Yuan Qi storm and heavenly punishment gathered over Flying Peak.

  • Li Boyang told Kunwu that he needed to enter the Imprisoned Soul Cauldron, and Kunwu agreed to trust him and jumped inside.
  • Li Boyang ignited the cauldron’s flames as Kunwu circulated the method he had taught him; Kunwu’s body melted and condensed into a patterned form with a meridian system.
  • Li Boyang used his Taiji Diagram to form a three-dimensional Eight Trigrams Formation, separating Heaven and Earth Primordial Qi and creating a stream of vitality inside the cauldron.
  • Li Boyang’s Shadow Baleful Intent Dharma Aspects fed precious medicinal ingredients and ores into the cauldron, while Lingguzi realized he was completing the Elixir of Immortality rather than making another one.
  • The purple-gold red gourd resonated with the cauldron, drawing in Yuan Qi until a storm swept across Yunmeng Marsh and black clouds gathered over Flying Peak.
  • Lightning and thunder filled the clouds as a heavenly punishment far greater than an ordinary heavenly tribulation began to form.

Ch. 360Heavenly Punishment descended, Nine-Transmutation Wrought Iron (13)

As Li Boyang refined the Elixir of Immortality, its birth drew Heavenly Punishment that threatened the Hundred Lands Mountain Range. Xiluo confronted the thunderclouds while Li Boyang’s tempering of Kunwu awakened his Primordial Spirit.

  • Wu Xian recognized that the Heavenly Punishment had been drawn by the birth of a new Elixir of Immortality.
  • Li Boyang used the Diagram of Mountains, Rivers, and the Land to take himself, the Imprisoned Soul Cauldron, and the Purple-Gold Red Gourd inside it.
  • Heavenly Punishment gathered inside the Diagram, and Xiluo split the thunderclouds with the Baleful Force of the Five Punishments.
  • Li Boyang accelerated the pill refinement and repeatedly expanded and tempered Kunwu’s Sea-Calming Cauldron body.
  • Kunwu’s consciousness began to reject his body, and he realized that his Primordial Spirit had awakened through Li Boyang’s method.

Ch. 361Azure Dragon coils around the pillar, divine treasure that calms the seas (23)

Li Boyang combined Kunwu’s Primordial Spirit with the refined Elixir of Immortality, creating an azure dragon and transforming the Sea-Calming Cauldron into a nine-transmutation wrought-iron divine treasure. The dragon and pillar appeared above Yunmeng Marsh, where Lu Huaijin and the great white-scaled snake witnessed them.

  • Li Boyang opened the Purple-Gold Red Gourd and joined the Elixir of Immortality with Kunwu’s Primordial Spirit, forming a hundred-zhang azure dragon.
  • The azure dragon summoned the Sea-Calming Cauldron, which Li Boyang had refined into nine-transmutation wrought iron that could absorb Primordial Qi and change form.
  • Li Boyang fitted two golden bands onto the pillar, completing the divine treasure as the azure dragon coiled around it.
  • After the thunderclouds dispersed, the azure dragon and pillar appeared above Yunmeng Marsh, visible throughout the Hundred Lands Mountain Range.
  • Lu Huaijin recognized the dragon’s resemblance to the Thousand Transformations Divine Lord’s Black Dragon form and sensed the pillar’s immense power.
  • The great white-scaled snake saw the dragon and felt his body beginning to change, with horns and developing limbs hinting at his possible Dragon Transformation.

Ch. 362Volume's end: A companion spirit treasure (33)

Wu Xian explained that Li Boyang had reforged the Sea-Calming Cauldron using the Elixir of Immortality, making Kunwu its vessel and granting him control of the divine treasure. Kunwu accepted his new undying body and companion spirit treasure, while the Great Xia shamans realized they could no longer reclaim the cauldron without asking him.

  • Wu Xian told Wu Ji and Wu Luo that Wu Peng and his siblings had refined the Elixir of Immortality with Divine Lord Meng Zhang as a catalyst, and that Li Boyang had completed it.
  • Wu Xian explained that the figure resembling Divine Lord Meng Zhang was a vessel for the Sea-Calming Cauldron's will, but Wu Luo argued that Li Boyang had seized control of Great Xia's divine artifact.
  • Kunwu appeared on Flying Peak in a dragon-headed human body and asked Li Boyang about his new form and the Sea-Calming Divine Treasure.
  • Li Boyang described the Sea-Calming Divine Treasure as Kunwu's companion spirit treasure and said his body had reached an undying state.
  • Kunwu declared that he controlled the Sea-Calming Cauldron and would decide when and how to quell the East Sea floods.
  • Li Boyang told Xiluo that the problem had been resolved, and she clawed at his face for keeping the solution secret.

Ch. 363The Three-Eyed Clan (13)

Li Boyang struggled to refine the Elixir of Immortality while Xiluo warned him that more mountain folk were being born with open third eyes. The growing Three-Eyed Clan faced discrimination, and Li Boyang resolved to address the danger.

  • Li Boyang's attempt to refine the Elixir of Immortality ended in a furnace explosion, and the Imprisoned Soul Cauldron recovered through the Primordial Talisman Incantation and Taiji Diagram.
  • Li Boyang suspected the Immortality Cauldron was the rootstock of an Immortality Herb and noted that Wu Peng had vanished beyond his divination.
  • Xiluo told Li Boyang that more villages had been giving birth to babies with open third eyes, as the mountain folk's population and health improved.
  • Li Boyang learned that some parents and outsiders feared or mistreated the three-eyed babies, while Big Girl, Qiwa, and others hurried between villages to protect them.
  • Li Boyang thanked them for their efforts and said he would handle the discrimination against the Three-Eyed Clan.

Ch. 364God Slayer (23)

Li Jingshu discovered that a water god was encouraging Bitter Water Village’s villagers to resent a newborn three-eyed infant so it could raise him as another Celestial Person. She offered the god a deal to protect the child, leaving the outcome unsettled.

  • Bitter Water Village’s villagers argued over whether Chunwa’s three-eyed infant was a monster or a prophet, while the village chief rebuked them for their jealousy.
  • Li Jingshu watched from the village entrance and worried that the child would grow up among people who resented him.
  • Li Jingshu realized that gods, not just spirits, might be seeking three-eyed infants in hopes of recreating Li Boyang’s rise.
  • Li Jingshu confronted the water god, who appeared as an enormous crocodile and defended its offer to take the child.
  • Li Jingshu offered to help the water god learn alongside the child if it guaranteed his safety and stopped the villagers from harming him.

Ch. 365God-Control Law (33)

Qiwa used his God-Control Law to subdue the Claw God after it threatened him and the baby, bringing it into his barrier as its seventh captured god. Light Fang warned him that commanding so many gods could exceed his limits, while Qiwa explained that he would reform non-murderous gods and kill those who had slaughtered others.

  • Qiwa summoned the battle-skilled god Light Fang to protect himself and the baby from the Claw God’s attack.
  • Qiwa used the God-Control Law to bind the Claw God and pull it into his barrier.
  • Qiwa explained that Li Boyang had helped devise the technique, which let him subdue ghosts and gods using his vast Life Primordial Qi.
  • Light Fang warned Qiwa that wielding seven gods at once could exceed his limits and urged him to stop using the technique for a while.
  • Qiwa said he had captured the Claw God because it had only taken a child, and that he would kill ghosts and gods who slaughtered people.
  • Light Fang said it would tell Single Horn Si and Chiru what had happened.

Ch. 366Four in Two Years (13)

Qiwa returned to Li Household Village with another abandoned three-eyed baby, while Single Horn Si warned him that raising four infants would burden him and Qinghe and might not win village support. Li Jingshu learned her mother had gone to Gao Village Town after news of her estranged father, whom Li Jingshu refused to acknowledge, then decided to accompany Chen Yun to the textile mill.

  • Qiwa brought a fourth abandoned three-eyed baby back to Li Household Village, and Single Horn Si questioned whether Qiwa and Qinghe could care for four young children.
  • Qiwa said the baby's parents had sacrificed him to a mountain god and argued that Li Household Village should set an example by raising unwanted three-eyed babies.
  • Single Horn Si warned that the village assembly might reject the plan, and Qiwa agreed to take the matter one step at a time.
  • Chen Yun told Li Jingshu that her mother had gone to Gao Village Town after Xiao'e heard news of Li Jingshu's father.
  • Li Jingshu angrily refused to recognize her father, then agreed to go with Chen Yun to the textile mill, while Xiao Gui accused her of wanting a meal.

Ch. 367Divine Abilities Are the Primary Productive Force (23)

Li Boyang returned to Li Household Village and reflected on how roads, currency, and Divine Abilities had transformed the Hundred Lands Mountain Range. After arriving, he instructed Single Horn Si to have the old Ginseng Doll watch for abandoned babies and bring them to the village.

  • Li Boyang saw the bronze carriages and improved roads, and considered how the bronze currency system had helped the mountain range develop.
  • He noticed that the rice fields were growing especially well and suspected Nüman had improved the seeds through crossbreeding.
  • At Li Household Village, Li Boyang saw the growing cluster of shrines and joked with Single Horn Si about secretly taking pills.
  • Li Boyang asked Single Horn Si where the old village chief was and learned he was probably at the ancestral hall.
  • Li Boyang instructed Single Horn Si to tell the old Ginseng Doll to find abandoned babies and bring them to Li Household Village, and to enlist Chiru if needed to protect them from spirits and gods.

Ch. 368Heaven on Earth (33)

Li Boyang explained his long-term plans for Li Household Village’s infrastructure and administration, then proposed ways to introduce taxation through village-managed sales. The old village chief cautioned that collecting taxes required patience, leaving the proposal to be considered as the village continued to develop.

  • Li Boyang’s careful planning had transformed Li Household Village with public facilities, utility systems, guard posts, and businesses for its nearly ten thousand residents.
  • Li Boyang found the old village chief at the ancestral hall, where respected elders worked full-time handling village affairs.
  • Li Boyang asked why the village had not introduced universal taxation, arguing that revenue would support public works and complete the administrative system.
  • The old village chief warned that taking grain or money from villagers would be difficult and urged Li Boyang to proceed gradually.
  • Li Boyang suggested setting aside part of collective grain-sale proceeds and having the village committee manage sales of textile goods to collect fees indirectly.

Ch. 369Giant Talisman Incantation Loom (13)

Li Boyang agreed to build a larger school near the Mountain God Reservoir for the three-eyed children, while Li Jingshu visited the village’s expanded textile factory and discovered an extraordinary Talisman Incantation Loom. Xiao Gui confirmed the loom was beyond even the combined abilities of Yunmeng Marsh’s ghosts and gods.

  • Li Boyang discussed taxation with the old village chief, who said the villagers needed to accept such a system willingly.
  • The old village chief revealed plans to move the elementary school outside the village and worried about the children’s safety.
  • Li Boyang agreed to build the school near the reservoir, where Chiru could protect it.
  • Li Jingshu visited the textile factory and saw a Talisman Incantation Loom weaving threads from rocks, water, and clouds.
  • Chen Yun explained that the loom was made in collaboration with Hanging Silk Lady after Chen Yun traveled to Yunmeng Marsh to persuade her.
  • Li Jingshu suspected the loom was Li Boyang’s work, and Xiao Gui said even the ghosts and gods of Yunmeng Marsh could not reproduce it.

Ch. 370The Union of God and Mortal, a Snake-Haired Demigod (23)

Xiao'e sought help for a dying mixed-blood baby whose conflicting divine bloodlines threatened her life. Nüman told her that Li Boyang could save the child, but Deception Rabbit arrived and offered to take the baby to him.

  • Xiao'e cradled the baby and admitted that she could not solve every problem.
  • Nüman explained that the baby's three-eyed mortal heritage and serpentine divine bloodline were clashing, leaving her unlikely to live long.
  • Nüman said Li Boyang was the only person who could save the baby, but warned that Xiao'e would jeopardize her transformation into a god if she left Gao Village Town.
  • Xiao'e insisted that saving people was the reason she wanted to become a god and refused to abandon that conviction.
  • Nüman said someone else could take the baby to Li Boyang, and Deception Rabbit appeared at the temple doorway.
  • Xiao'e recognized Deception Rabbit and asked when he had returned; he said he had only just arrived.

Ch. 371The Deception Rabbit Returns (33)

Li Boyang welcomed the Deception Rabbit back to the Hundred Lands Mountain Range, where he brought a mixed-blood baby girl with a petrifying Divine Ability. Li Boyang outfitted her with enchanted clothes and revealed he had expanded the elementary school to shelter gifted children, while the Deception Rabbit realized how much the region had changed in his absence.

  • Li Boyang noticed the Deception Rabbit return with a baby perched on his head and detected the lingering scent of blood on him.
  • Li Boyang recognized the baby as a demigod of mixed human and divine blood, and her third eye awakened a petrification Curse that triggered his [Body-Protecting Sword Qi].
  • Li Boyang calmed the Deception Rabbit, took the baby, and dressed her in clothes that disguised her unusual features and suppressed her Curse.
  • Li Boyang explained that he had expanded the elementary school to take in extraordinarily gifted children, and the Deception Rabbit reflected on the changes he had missed.

Ch. 372Great Xia's Dao Seekers (13)

Deception Rabbit recounted his perilous journey home after Wu Yi shot at Heaven, including his battles with Wu Zhen and his rescue of Xuansu Shi. With Xuansu Shi nearing childbirth and too ill to travel, he returned alone to the Hundred Lands Mountain Range to ask the Prophet and Xiluo for help.

  • Deception Rabbit explained that he had turned back from Kunlun's Guixu and spent his journey home helping humans and surviving gods affected by the disasters.

Ch. 373Xuansu Shi, the Wind-Commanding Thunder Goddess (23)

Xuansu Shi endured a dangerous pregnancy in a desolate region, relying on the Earth Dragon Deception Rabbit had assigned to guard and feed her. When the deity-hunting Longzhi arrived, it killed and devoured the Earth Dragon, leaving Xuansu Shi facing the vicious beast alone.

  • Xuansu Shi wondered whether she could survive until the fetus, which was draining her Life Primordial Qi, was born.
  • She summoned the Earth Dragon and cut flesh from its mouth to eat raw, while it endured the pain and returned underground.
  • Xuansu Shi spotted a Longzhi approaching and realized it had chosen her as prey.
  • The Earth Dragon attacked from underground, making the Longzhi stumble into a fissure.
  • The Longzhi used its nine heads and tails to drag the Earth Dragon out, tear it apart, and devour its remains.

Ch. 374The nine-headed undying beast (33)

Xuansu Shi fought Longzhi after it devoured the earth dragon, using lightning and a magnetic field to destroy its heads and body. As Longzhi’s final head lunged at her, an unseen attacker’s Formless Sword Qi cut it apart, leaving Xuansu Shi stunned and suspecting the rabbit had brought him there.

  • Xuansu Shi unleashed storms and lightning against Longzhi, which sent one of its heads flying with its Undying Flying Heads ability.
  • Xuansu Shi seized lightning with Body-Protecting Gang Qi and killed the detached fox head with Thunder-Wielding Divine Spear.
  • Longzhi sent its other seven heads away from its body, but Xuansu Shi used Thunder-Magnetic Storm to bind the body and drag the airborne heads down.
  • Xuansu Shi bombarded Longzhi with lightning, killing its exposed heads and burning its body before she approached the corpse.
  • Longzhi’s final head burst from its scorched body and lunged at Xuansu Shi, but a streak of Formless Sword Qi sliced it in two.
  • Xuansu Shi recognized the sword technique and wondered whether the rabbit had brought him there.

Ch. 375Ten White Bone Rings, Hundred-Armed Demon God
