After learning from Yan Xiaojun and Li Jingshu’s abilities, he ordered a hundred thousand water troops to force a crossing of the Thread of Sky, prepared to sacrifice human captives to do it.

• The Lord of the Ya Waters told Huoji that Yan Xiaojun had returned to Ghost God Cliff and could breathe fire despite his sealed Earthflame Divine Ability.
• Huoji identified Yan Xiaojun’s power as the Life Primordial Qi Regulation Breathing Method and demonstrated how life primordial Qi flowed from his own body.

Deception Rabbit returned from dealing with a mountain spirit and discussed Li Boyang’s campaign against the region’s ghost gods, while One-Horned Incantation wondered who had stopped the rain.

• Mountain villages built dikes and irrigation channels, and Li Household Village began planting with Dangkang's Tooth and help from a one-horned water buffalo.
• Deception Rabbit returned early from Fuyang Village after defeating a mountain spirit that had damaged its irrigation channels.
• One-Horned Incantation recalled Deception Rabbit’s record of hunting ghost gods and noted that Li Boyang had captured more than a hundred beings for Ghost God Cliff.

Li Boyang, Xiluo, and Kingfisher traveled to the heart of the Hundred Lands Mountain Range, where Li Boyang discovered that the forested plain was actually the immense body of the Undying Spring God. Kingfisher warned that delaying the flood would make its eventual force far worse, while Li Boyang explained that he had pressured the gods to help confront the disaster.

• Kingfisher told Li Boyang that the flood was a backlash against the gods of Great Xia and that holding back the water would make the disaster more powerful when Huoji bored through the mountains.
• Li Boyang admitted he had deliberately intensified the crisis to force the gods to take responsibility, and Kingfisher acknowledged his suspicions about her motives and the Undying Spring God’s strength.

• Kingfisher guided Li Boyang and Xiluo through the mountain forest to the chaotic Earth Veins where the Heaven-Eroding Lord was sealed.
• Kingfisher explained that Li Boyang would need to borrow the Heaven-Eroding Lord's power to change the weather, but Granny would not release him until his inner problem was solved.

• Huoji saw the Taiji Diagram awaken evil thoughts in his troops, whose violence and disorder spread as Thread of Sky’s Sword Qi erupted.
• Lord of the Ya Waters realized Li Boyang had released the Heaven-Eroding Lord, and Huoji began a sacrificial ritual to destroy Thread of Sky and enter the Hundred Lands Mountain Range.

• Li Boyang summoned the Taiji Diagram, and Big Black Dog and the Guirong Clan appeared fused as the Heaven-Eroding Lord.

• The Lord of the Ya Waters called on Flower Mantis to repay the First Prince’s protection, and Flower Mantis charged through the battlefield, attacking friend and foe alike.

Huoji transformed into an expanding rainstorm to fight back, but the Heaven-Eroding Lord repeatedly countered him with control over yin and yang and scorching sunlight, leaving Huoji trapped in a cycle of defeat.

• The Heaven-Eroding Lord pummeled Huoji and demanded to know where his main soul was, who had created his split soul, and how Wuzhiqi was connected to Guhuo Bird.

The Rain Master forced Wuzhiqi to choose between continuing their fight and saving Huoji, and Wuzhiqi left while his gods attacked the Rain Master.

• Wuzhiqi prepared to face the Rain Master with his four guardian gods, while the Rain Master condemned him for using the Guifang Kingdom’s Baleful Intent Refining Method on Tufang Clan.
• The Rain Master accused Wuzhiqi of unleashing the flood to rule the Huai Calamity region in the name of the Huai Calamity Dragon Maiden, whom Wuzhiqi had forced to bear three sons before she took her own life.
