After Lingyun was mutilated and killed by Qiu Qian, Xu Qi'an identified the young man in white as connected to powerful arcanists and planned to strike before the enemy forces could unite. He appeared to take Qiu Qian’s bait, but a white-robed figure activated a formation and transported everyone in the inn away as hostile forces closed in.
